I can't stop thinking of a Death Note AU, where Near is an exchange student and travels overseas during the summer to stay in a small town in the countryside. He barely understands the language and has to rely on a local blonde-haired man (Mello) to communicate with him and show him around the place.

They spend the summer going from strangers to friends, to eventual lovers.

Made a cute little flower arrangement from Dollar Tree. Kinda was going for a Tim Burton-esque vibe.
