Lydon: God, this is so stupid but I love it dearly

Lydon was given a bracelet by a fan at a race, he didn't read it. He only noticed when he got to his hotel and took it off.

He won his first race that weekend, and now he's convinced it is a good luck charm.

Anytime he forgets to bring it with him, he has such a terrible race (ex, Australia, Monaco). It only sets his belief more. It's literally just dumb luck though and entirely coincidence.

Judas: Hmmmmmmmm. He's interesting because he's not superstitious, but he is grounded in routine. Once his helmet is on, he doesn't want anyone talking to him before the race. Only his engineer. And even then, he prefers to keep it to a minimum.

🎱: What kind of future do they crave, and who's in it?

Lydon: I cannot think of this for Lydon, I have to come back to this at some point 😓

Judas: He craves success more than anything. He wants to be a champion. Judas doesn't necessarily care who is included in that. He will take what he needs to achieve.

🧨: what is the quickest way to set them off, even if they hide it well?

Lydon: False information. I think this applies to many parts of him actually. He gets annoyed when interviewers ask him questions about obviously false rumors. His engineer tells him wrong information about rain, other teams tire strategy, etc. He gets pissed on the radio.

But that comes down to his personal interactions too. He can take digs from other drivers just fine. Call him slow after a bad lap? Fair. But, when they're wrong? God, he can whip around and lay into them.

I suppose that's also why he can't leave Judas alone either. Lydon knows he's not being honest with himself.

And guess what? That's why he never refutes any of Judas' insults. He knows they're all true.

Judas: Mr. "The one fight I can't resist", a.k.a., Lydon. He's infatuated. He swings between the extremes. He is nothing but obsessive when it comes to him. Lydon knows him too well, and he is infuriated by it.

Judas can't stand to know that someone knows him by heart. He can't stand the fact that there is a single person who knows about his problems, his secrets, his personality. And he cannot stand the fact that it is out of his control.

Lydon can go toe to toe with him. And it sets Judas off in ways he cannot begin to fathom.

Lydon: He never told Judas about the special helmet he had. Never told anyone about it.

Judas: He's kept all of the things Lydon gave him when dating. They're still in a box. It has moved multiple apartments with him.

Judas got into F1 a year before Lydon did. 2022. Lydon stayed in F2. They had been dating, in secret, for two years at that point.

Lydon has a special helmet done. It had pictures of them in karting, F3, F2. All the time they shared a space. Lydon was so proud of him.

"Congrats Judas!" was splashed over the top. Written in cursive. Judas always loved cursive.

He has the helmet tucked in his bag, walking around the paddock on media day. He's trying to hunt down Judas to show him.

What a shame though.

A shame finding out he's been dumped by seeing his boyfriend walk through the paddock with a pretty girl on his arm.

A shame that he yanked Judas between the hospitality buildings.

A shame that he was told they weren't serious. That they never were.

On the day of the race, Lydon said he disliked the design and switched to his regular helmet. No one questioned him or his red eyes.

And a shame that Judas said he could never be seen with someone like Lydon. Think of the sponsors. The fans. It's disgusting, right?

Judas had to say he tripped. That's why his nose was bleeding when he slipped back to the Aston Martin garage.
