Devilman Yaoius is the forefather of the “Doomed Yaoi” genus of anime ships. Hanta and its decendants have a distinctly more banter-y tension than the romantic worship of Eva and its descendants. Interestingly, Chainsawman Yaoius (Akiangel) retains characteristics of both Eva and Hanta. Additionally, Madoka Yaoius (Madohomu), developed a trait known as “girl yaoi,” presented as longer hair and skirts instead of pants.
