went to a bodybuilding competition. i misunderstood the objective and brought with me water (35 L), carbon (20 kg), ammonia (4 L), lime (1.5 kg), phosphorus (800 g), salt (250 g), saltpeter (100 g), sulfur (80 g), fluorine (7.5 g), iron (5 g), silicon (3 g) and trace amounts of fifteen other elements

the boys probs have bro nights and to those fools who arnt invited ( the girls) they probably think their like talking about girls and sport and just being stinky.  and I mean they’d be right they are being stinky and talking about girls, but their actually discussing the best way to force the girls into therapy because I'm pretty sure the only one who didn't get caught up in the sibuna shit was Mara and in the kindest way possible she isn't 100% okay and could definitely benefit from Therapy as well 

so a karaoke game where I guess theres like two teams? the votes vs the singers. the singers gotta get the most votes ( the person with the least dies or more idk) and if ya don't vote welp you don't live so your forced to. if the votes are equal you all die. dun times ANYWAY LETS ALSO IMAGINE THAT THE ONLY SONGS AVAILABLE ARE LIKE LATE 1990-EARLY2010 POP SONGS.

Chishiya: you know that's not what you meant Usagi: you literally went so far off the tracks the fucking police were on watch  Arisu: LISTEN I just think its interesting to disgust how different supernatural creatures would taste cuss it affects modern day culinary techniques and how it could change in a world building setting, is it so wrong to ponder? 

A lot of peoples defenses for the live action start with "its an adaptation it's not gonna be the exact same show" and like...duh??? Most people who are writing criticisms for the show aren't criticizing it because it's a bad adaptation alone, they point out flaws that come down to it just being a bad show. Adaptations are tricky to get right because they are essentially a professional fanfiction retelling, you have to work out what is the most important parts to carry across the main theme, sometimes that means you have to change the characters personalities or even arcs. We understand that. Many successful adaptations get that (think lord of the rings, or [i'm sorry to say this] harry potter. or even better yet good omens!). Why do those adaptations work then? because they adapt and write a fluid story BASED on that original work. It's there, USE IT.

The live action doesn't work for me because it fails to write its own story well. The exposition dumps, the clunky dialog between characters, the pacing. It feels like a rough draft and not a final product. Like there is SO much potential in this show and I really hope it gets a season 2 with a larger budget and a couple more episodes because I want them to do well. There's a couple of really cute small things that are so interesting like Zuko having those avatar dolls or Sokka and Suki first training together and her correcting his form. I want more of this and less of them just dumping future lore on me for no reason. It would really help them narratively if they just let some things remain a mystery to new audiences. 

Alice in borderland au where everything's the same but Arisu is wearing the same dress that Alice does in Alice in wonderland. Why is he wearing it? no one knows. How is it magically fixed/cleaned whenever it gets dirty or ripped? no one knows that either all anyone knows is that it exists and Arisu cant get rid of it.
