I recently got back into digital art and had an idea but not really the talent to execute but this was my try at adam parrish as the magician tarot card

i like to think will’s had a crush on nico since the battle of manhattan. little 13yo will sees little 12yo nico fighting and he’s like “wow. dream guy right there” (bc he is 13 and just discovered mcr so any boy that wears black is peak attraction)

the years go by and he doesn’t see much of nico until the gaia battle and is like “oh so i never got over that. i’ll unpack this later.”

sometimes i randomly remember how insane maggie stiefvater was for making ronan lynch—a man that can create reality—a man of god, when he himself is a god of a man. then to take this man and have him be not only in love with, but a literal soulmate of a man named adam. parrish. adam parrish. who, mind you, lives above ronan's very own place of worship. and is the namesake of the first of mankind that the bible says god made from the literal dust of the ground (adam parrish: comes from nothing, hair "dusty" in color) and appoints him to care for the garden of eden (adam parrish: sacrifices himself to ronan's sentient forest). then has adam viewing ronan as a god and ronan saying "maybe he dreamt (created)" adam???? like who just fucking writes that and goes about their life?

pov you are parrish's least liked coworker and you just said something dead stupid

i'm being so serious when i say that this book warped my perception of what any sort of relationship should look like. is it healthy to want to exclusively feel soul-crushing love for the friends you choose or to know you would absolutely give up every single piece of yourself to them if they asked? probably not, but nothing else feels worth any effort and maggie stiefvater is to blame for that.
