žádám vaši pomoc. Jen tak pro zábavu jsem začala překládat jednu českou fantasy - možná ji někdo zná - a to Naslouchače od Petry Stehlíkové. Narazila jsem však na problém přeložení názvu samotného

Naslouchač abyste chápali je:

sklenit je magický kámen a sklenař je ten co ho dokáže těžit (z nějakého důvodu původem Rumun?) - autorka bere hodně slov z rumunštiny takže turnul je prostě rumunsky věž a retea = síť. Ale už dost vysvětlivek.

Mělo by to být:

Listener? to podle mě nezní dostatečně mysteriózně

pak mě napadlo Eavesdropper, což zní sice lépe ale naopak se to trochu vymiká významu. "Odposlouchávač" jaksi nepasuje

Třetí možností je Hearkener (čteno Harkener), hearken je prý archaické slovo pro “hear” což by významu odpovídalo, obávám se ale. že to nebude dostatečně pochopitelné a může se jevit složitěji na vyslovení.
