this is the character of player #1, Ulixes Leech!

this was the first character that was created back in january, so the sketch is a little janky, a little old, but i think it conveys the information well enough

i'll also include some basic character information right below this message:

name: Ulixes Leech

age: 17 (bday: april 23rd)

gender: male (he/him)

race: unovan

height: 5'11"/180cm

personality: a total sweetheart, such a little guy, so so nice. almost always. although kind under most circumstances, he can switch on a dime if he's tired/pissed off enough to extremely cold, calculating, and precise (usually occurs during battle if one of his pokemon faint). not a personality trait but he has narcolepsy, which has nearly been the cause of very many a silly situation (ex. passing out on a public bench instantly after beating whitney's gym)

family: currently unnamed mother (tbh even though we're so far in we havent established a name, but visually she is literally kagamine rin but like older), older brother aquilo leech, unknown father (dad left... sad :(

backstory: Ulixes, who grew up in the trees and bushes of White Forest in Unova, has always adored pokemon, alongside his brother, Aquilo. both are too young to remember their father, and their mother refuses to tell them so they don't go to seek him out. nevertheless, the two brothers enjoy their lives. slowly, however, the two grew apart due to their differences in handling pokemon, with Ulixes prioritizing love and Aquilo prioritizing discipline. this comes to a head in an arguement in which Aquilo leaves to head to another region for some unknown job oportunity.

although he truly loves all pokemon, Ulixes has favor for water-types, with his partner being the strong-headed oshawott mizu. ever since they met, they have been inseperable.

Ulixes had planned on living his life contentedly in White Forest, until his mother essentially kicked him out to go have a life. being a momma's boy, he obediently left to go witness an intresting celebration being held in Ecruteak City of the Johto Region... i wonder what it could be for?

(i will explain more plot details of the campaign after i introduce all four characters... if anyone has any questions/suggestions so far, let me know!)

hey! it's been a while. i was trying to work on more polished drawings of the characters from the pokemon dnd campaign i'm running, but i've finally caved in and you guys will get the original designs i made as well as some art the players made themselves, if any. i'll be posting the four player's characters and their character information, and after that i'll fill you guys in on how their adventure has been going. that will be happening throughout the day (its about 8am here) so stay tuned!! or don't!! i'm gonna post it anyway!!!

i might make this blog primarily about things related to my pokémon dungeons & dragons campaign, since i need to get these ideas out and i highly doubt any of my players have searched out my new tumblr account. if you are one of my players, i will be sharing your misfortunes and successes on the internet as well as possible (probable) major spoilers for the campaign. you have been warned

In the Japanese and various European language versions of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, the party member Vivian is canonically a transgender woman, and a pretty positive representation at that, standing up to her abusive sisters and switching sides to help Mario quite literally reclaim his identity after his name and visage are magically stolen by the chapter's antagonist (and being an all-around lovable, kind-hearted character in general). Tragically, however, this facet of her character was censored in the English localization, completely erasing her trans identity.

Nintendo please please PLEASE do not fumble the bag with the English localization of the Thousand-Year Door remake; it's time to finally LET VIVIAN BE TRANS!!!
