Sort of a long fic, I think this is a very interesting concept! There are plenty of stories focused on the backstory of the skeleton brothers, but I can't recall seeing one that has Sans be an imaginary friend aside from this one! The way that the author writes the idea is amazing as well!

I really like how the author includes reactions from other monsters regarding the brother's sudden appearance in Snowdin, since I think it adds to the world that they've expanded beyond the base game!

Not to mention how they give us snippets of some monster's reactions to not being able to remember Gaster, like Undyne wishing for someone to spar with or the Dreemurr's discussing needing to find a royal scientist! It's very clever!

on one hand im genuinely fascinated by the lore behind boxten’s mysterious nightmares. like i have a strooong feeling something’s going on w/ boxten and it’s actually a big part of the story that we’re not aware of yet

on the other hand it makes him and astro’s relationship extremely funny to me :)
