I Feel Super Let Down By The Season Of Radiance So Far.. I Expected Wayyyy More Customization Then What

I feel super let down by the season of radiance so far.. I expected wayyyy more customization then what we got in the capes and pants. So much so that I'm not excited by the future hat/face cosmetics becoming customizable at all.. Does anyone feel the same? <:/

(Beneath the keep reading I've put some close ups of the text and the before's and after's of each item. Just in case my tiny text was hard to read😅)

An 8 by 8 color grid showing all color combination options for the dyes available in the season of Radiance. The background is black for visibility. The X and Y axis are labeled with the base dye colors (red, yellow, green, cyan, blue, purple, black, white).
An image that says "Dye Accessibility color guides" in black text. Surrounding the text are the dye jar symbols from the season of Radiance and colored sparkles. The background is white. The jar symbols have smaller symbols to represent the element related to the color and they are as follows: red has a single swirl to look similar to the eyes of the trial creatures in the game, yellow has a line that is hook-shaped and curved to look similar to a single flame, green has 4 rounded-square shapes of different sizes to represent stones or earth, cyan has 3 horizontal lines in a row top to bottom with the top and bottom lines curving backward to represent air, blue has 3 vertical wavey lines in a row top represent water flow, purple has a diamond shape with a small circle in the center like a gem, black has a ring of short lines the go outward from the center like a firework, white has a circle with a dot in the center and the circle has lines coming out of the sides and top/bottom to give the appearance of a shine or light glint.
This image shows two vertical rows of the jar symbols, a row of color mixing results for the red dye in the bottom left, and an additional red jar symbol in the lower right as a label to indicate this graphic is for the red dye. The vertical rows of jars each show the different symbols to represent the original color of the jar and have been colored to represent the color results of mixing the red dye. Me: “The food webs we try to teach children and the public are too simple to get the point across. Why do they never bother to show the more intricate relationships between specific species? It can’t be that hard to represent with basic teaching tools... I’ll make the thing!”

The thing:

Me: “The Food Webs We Try To Teach Children And The Public Are Too Simple To Get The Point Across.

Me: “....I get it now.”

I'm beginning to realize why I like the book reading emote so much: It's what I'd call a good "waiting room" emote. Prior to the Season of Moomin starting, the boogie, levitation, or headbang emote were among my most used emotes because I'd use them while waiting for something (Geyser, Grandma, etc.) The book reading emote fills this niche perfectly. It's as close as we can get to having your skykid scrolling on a phone.

I like this emote and this particular use case so much that I'm considering bringing a stool where ever I go so my skykid doesn't have to sit on the floor.

So uhmm, hey hi howdy, it’s been a minute. I uhhh, haven’t really had the motivation to make stuff to post here.

In other news I have put what is essentially a giant bean bag on my head and I have not known inner peace until this moment. That is all.

We all know that the hero, the player always prevails. But what about the characters?

What happens to the Agents when they lose?

[eyestrain warning]

We All Know That The Hero, The Player Always Prevails. But What About The Characters?

This idea has been done a thousand times over already but I thought I’d take a crack at it! I am obsessed with how this turned out, the effects were super fun to mess around with. This was made for the second Actually Infected art challenge prompt: corrupted file!

Agent 3 (red) - Defected and joined the Octarian Army

Agent 4 (yellow) - Captured and hypnotized by Octavio

Agent 8 (cyan) - Defeated by Agent 3 during the escape sequence and sanitized

Neo Agent 3 (magenta) - Fuzzified before they could reach the top of the rocket
