Keep non-secular holidays out of popular culture expectations.

(Regardless of how you think about it or celebrate it, Valentine's Day did not have secular origins, making it an inherently non-secular holiday.)

This is a reminder for myself and other observant Jews:

Stop feeling guilty every time you ask for an accommodation at work. They’re literally obligated to give it to you because if they didn’t they’d be denying your freedom of religion. If they’re mad you can’t work on Shabbos, that’s not your problem. Don’t feel ashamed to advocate for yourself. Hashem is the most important ❤️

One of my favorite Purim memories was when I was around 8 or 9 dancing with my family wearing a yellow princess dress. It not as vivid but from it I still feel the innocence and just pure joy I had in that moment.

With all the antisemitic violence we're seeing everywhere, I think we deserve a positivity break.

Since Purim is right around the corner, what's one of your favorite Purim memories? (If you can't pick one you can do multiple.)

I think this might've been two years ago or so but the Chabad I went to back home was hosting a Purim celebration. During this party they decided to have us play trivia and I won! (I get super competitive during trivia events haha.)

So yeah that was really fun!!
