Ever since late middle school I've been weary on telling people that I'm Jewish. There weren't much others like me in my city other than my family and two other people in my high school.

With all the blatant anti-semitism throughout the years (especially now), I'm just tired, angry, low on hopes.

I guess it's become ingrained within my people that they expect they will be hurt and prosecuted from outsiders and others that have no idea what they are talking about. I'm angry that it's still happening, that even now many Goyim (non-Jews) choose to be ignorant and turn their nose away, simply because it’s not happening to them so “it’s not relevant” to them or some other BS excuse of theirs!!

Jewish culture is being terrified to tell people that you're jewish, even those who claim to be supportive, because of how rampet anti-semetism is

Edit: that reminds me, I used to order that one iced peach green tea lemonade drink from Starbucks all the time before when I started college and someone told me that the iced teas aren’t apparently kosher because the tea liquid was in the container for way more than 24 hours. :(
