Story where everyone is gay and also a kinda shitty person

Being obsessed with your own ocs is so so good for you i seriously can't recommend it enough

sometimes i go back and reread what i wrote a while ago & i'm like

I just wiped a character completely out of existence because I’m a cruel god

Writers are scary because we’ll take personal trauma and think, "Hmm… what if this happened to my fictional characters but worse?"

i hate writing action scenes. WHY ARE THEY SO HARD. do i describe every punch? every duck? every dramatic glare?? suddenly i have no idea how bodies move and it reads like a play-by-play of an awkward middle school fight. 'he punched. they dodged. they punched. he dodged.' HELP.
