sniper was initially not allowed into the pool near the base that soldier and demo dug/bombed repeatedly. because y’know, pissman, pisspool....no one stood on his side and everyone physically pushed him back whenever he tried to get in. one night he just says screw it and jumps in the pool at 3 AM in the morning while no one’s in there. when they woke up and saw him in the pool, you’d better believe they shrieked and ran like little kids.

Sniper had the pool to himself for the rest of the week. whether or not he actually pissed is unknown.

I could probably come up with an idea to go with this but the fact that he’s effectively yelling Hosonaga’s name in court makes me laugh so hard. did hosonaga become a religion??? did something happen here??? like whenever someone is ‘lost in their daydreams’ you just yell satoru at them and the spirit of hosonaga wakes them up??? 

(i understand that they both just share the same origin in japanese but like. theories are fun)

HEY EVERYONE!

So, around two years ago I made this comic for a zine about what kinds of adventures the two Grunks might go on after the end of Gravity Falls. I finally got permission to post it, so here it is!

It’s pretty old, so I’ve learned a lot since then, about comics, layout, color, and pretty much everything! So I don’t love how it looks now, but I felt it would be a shame just to let it sorta rot away on my computer haha. Hope y’all get some enjoyment out of it!

TF2 ideas: HP

(i’ve never played tf2 past the tutorial so excuse me if I get some ideas wrong. also, i’m no good at explaining)

So how does HP work in a more “realistic” way? 

Each mercenary would take a sort of endurance test where they would be shot multiple times to see how long they could last while suffering from bullets/melee weapons. However long they can survive for and still move around while hurt would determine a number of HP they’d have. (with respawn on of course)

Then each gun would be measured to see which does the most damage, which would determine damage points.

Once the HP reaches 0, they would be killed immediately through some sort of respawn technology, since once 0 HP is reached then the mercenary would either already be dead or hurt so badly that they couldn’t move at all. Leaving them alive at that point would be idiotic since they can’t do anything. 

This system does have flaws though, since if someone was on 1 HP they’d be hurt VERY badly, but because their HP isn’t at 0 they’d be left alive and unable to respawn. So they either limp around and try to keep fighting, or someone needs to finish them off. Most would choose to keep going since running into the opposing team would finish them off.

(anyone under 5 HP will limp around everywhere looking for the enemy team so that they can die lol)

I’d say the Administrator knows about this but since most people choose to get up and keep “fighting” she doesn’t care much for it.

Alright it’s theory time. (practically no spoilers I’d say).

This one’s a bit far out there but it’s been living in my head rent-free so it’s time to evict it to tumblr. 

Satoru Hosonaga is Miles & Gregory Edgeworth’s ancestor. YES I SAID IT WAS FAR OUT THERE PLEASE LET ME FINISH

Okay, so if you can’t read the horrible low-res screenshot, the gist is that there are a couple visual similarities between them, being:

- All three have a sprig of hair that sticks up in the back. It’s unnoticeable from the icons alone (exception of Hosonaga), but from the sprites and in-game art both Edgeworths have that little tuft.

Also on the topic of hair, in the AA trilogy icon for Miles his hair color not only matches his father’s a bit more but also Hosonaga’s. (however in DD and SOJ it turns into a much lighter grey)

- All three have glasses. Granted, Miles gets his glasses later on in life, however it implies that they all have bad vision. Poor vision “tends to run in families”, however is not genetic. 

- Both Gregory and Satoru have defined cheekbones. Miles doesn’t, however he is 100% related to Gregory so he is excused for this one. 

- Not written on the image, however on the wiki their heights are all pretty close to each other.

Miles Edgeworth: 5′10′’; 178 cm

Gregory Edgeworth: 5′9′’; 176 cm

Satoru Hosonaga: 5′10′’; 178 cm

Granted, Hosonaga is from the late 1800′s/early 1900′s, so the height likely isn’t accurate. However, it is written on the wiki & supports my argument, so I will be taking it as canon despite its flaws.

THINGS CAN CHANGE THROUGH GENERATIONS. Miles and Gregory have vastly different hairstyles, and yet they’re still related. Skin tone can be accounted to lighting/health conditions. (Hosonaga has a colored background for his icon and also probably suffers from iron deficiency/anemia due to his constant coughing)

Now for personality, I’ll be going off of the Ace Attorney Wiki.

- All three are honest & hardworking.

- Professional/Serious demeanor. (Hosonaga has the wackiest disguises yet treats them all seriously & professionally so I guess.)

- Dedication to the truth. (it’s Ace Attorney what else would it be)

- Caring/Dedicating a lot for family/friends. (Miles to Phoenix, Gregory to his son & maybe Raymond Shields, Hosonaga to Asogi/Ryunosuke)

In conclusion, there is proof that Satoru Hosonaga is an Edgeworth.

Anyways, that’s the end of this theory. Personally, I quite like it, however I understand why many people would prefer other possible ancestors. Hosonaga is a background character that doesn’t have a lot of screentime, but he’s also one of my favorite characters in the whole of the Ace Attorney franchise and he deserves more love than he gets.
