I've been seeing a lot of the picture of the poor woman who has inadvertently become the face of the Glasgow Willy Wonka event. Can we start passing this one around, where she's working admirably to give the kids there a good experience in spite of the hideously under-delivered one-jellybean-per-child shitshow?

Like if I had someone taking pictures of me on the clock at a customer-facing event, I'd hope they'd use the one showing me where I was, yknow, working, instead of on my break staring through the walls in disbelief at the state of things.

My therapist just told me my problem is that I need to write more fanfiction.

HEY EVERYONE!

So, around two years ago I made this comic for a zine about what kinds of adventures the two Grunks might go on after the end of Gravity Falls. I finally got permission to post it, so here it is!

It’s pretty old, so I’ve learned a lot since then, about comics, layout, color, and pretty much everything! So I don’t love how it looks now, but I felt it would be a shame just to let it sorta rot away on my computer haha. Hope y’all get some enjoyment out of it!

hhhh dior

POkay so apparently Dior means golden in French so that’s my headcanon name for Spy now.

this is only going to be a bare minimum timeline for me, and I don’t really want people to see it but i want it to be out there so no tags on it. I’m planning on making a really really long fanfiction on this so anyone who sees this I’d like if you didn’t make anything about it or credit me if you are directly inspired by this.

OKAY HERE WE GO

- Dior is born to a loving mother and a neglecting father. The mother signed a contract somehow that signed over a crap ton of money to Dior’s father. Dior’s mother disappears when he is six (not completely clear but she was killed by Dior’s father so that she couldn’t blab to police about how he abused Dior and so he could keep all the money for himself) People suspect the Father of doing the murder, so he hides away into his mansion and makes Dior take care of everything for him. - Understandably, Dior hates his father a lot. At some point, his father has a bit too much to drink, and smashes Dior over the head with a glass bottle repeatedly, leaving scars all over his face. Of course once he’s sober again he realizes the problem that all evidence pointed to him doing it, so that would be one of the reasons why he hides in the mansion.  - misc. notes: Dior is forced to cook for his father and do all the shopping, so he intentionally tries to cook horrible food. of course his dad gets mad about it so he just goes to the store and buys some weird instant alligator meat in the Australian section of the store and cooks it for his dad daily. Dior steals from his rich classmates who bullied him because of his father and uses it to buy food to support himself.

- OKAY SO THIS IS WHERE  DIOR KILLS HIS DAD.

- one day, a balisong along with an envelope saying “you know what to do” appears in the dirt in front of the mansion. He does know what to do. Dior spends days in the library, studying human anatomy to find the quickest way to kill someone with a balisong. Ultimately, he comes up with the backstab. On one of his Father’s shirts he draws a dot so he can aim his knife. The day comes where his Father wears the shirt, and while his father is taking a swig from his drink-- the knife goes IN through his skin and punctures his heart. he dies unsure what Dior will do with the body, but he salvages absolutely everything having to do with his mother from the house. (debating what will happen here, but I have an idea where Dior burns the house down or something idk. maybe he’ll get caught for what he does because of the corpse odor so he burns down the entire village. i’m thinking about introducing a character who would be the owner of the bookstore, and would be like a second mother to Dior, but would also be the first person to connect Dior to the crime and would betray him.)

should his last name be Primeaux? I’ll add a tag once I come up with a last name for him.

angry plastic man for the soul

Alright it’s theory time. (practically no spoilers I’d say).

This one’s a bit far out there but it’s been living in my head rent-free so it’s time to evict it to tumblr. 

Satoru Hosonaga is Miles & Gregory Edgeworth’s ancestor. YES I SAID IT WAS FAR OUT THERE PLEASE LET ME FINISH

Okay, so if you can’t read the horrible low-res screenshot, the gist is that there are a couple visual similarities between them, being:

- All three have a sprig of hair that sticks up in the back. It’s unnoticeable from the icons alone (exception of Hosonaga), but from the sprites and in-game art both Edgeworths have that little tuft.

Also on the topic of hair, in the AA trilogy icon for Miles his hair color not only matches his father’s a bit more but also Hosonaga’s. (however in DD and SOJ it turns into a much lighter grey)

- All three have glasses. Granted, Miles gets his glasses later on in life, however it implies that they all have bad vision. Poor vision “tends to run in families”, however is not genetic. 

- Both Gregory and Satoru have defined cheekbones. Miles doesn’t, however he is 100% related to Gregory so he is excused for this one. 

- Not written on the image, however on the wiki their heights are all pretty close to each other.

Miles Edgeworth: 5′10′’; 178 cm

Gregory Edgeworth: 5′9′’; 176 cm

Satoru Hosonaga: 5′10′’; 178 cm

Granted, Hosonaga is from the late 1800′s/early 1900′s, so the height likely isn’t accurate. However, it is written on the wiki & supports my argument, so I will be taking it as canon despite its flaws.

THINGS CAN CHANGE THROUGH GENERATIONS. Miles and Gregory have vastly different hairstyles, and yet they’re still related. Skin tone can be accounted to lighting/health conditions. (Hosonaga has a colored background for his icon and also probably suffers from iron deficiency/anemia due to his constant coughing)

Now for personality, I’ll be going off of the Ace Attorney Wiki.

- All three are honest & hardworking.

- Professional/Serious demeanor. (Hosonaga has the wackiest disguises yet treats them all seriously & professionally so I guess.)

- Dedication to the truth. (it’s Ace Attorney what else would it be)

- Caring/Dedicating a lot for family/friends. (Miles to Phoenix, Gregory to his son & maybe Raymond Shields, Hosonaga to Asogi/Ryunosuke)

In conclusion, there is proof that Satoru Hosonaga is an Edgeworth.

Anyways, that’s the end of this theory. Personally, I quite like it, however I understand why many people would prefer other possible ancestors. Hosonaga is a background character that doesn’t have a lot of screentime, but he’s also one of my favorite characters in the whole of the Ace Attorney franchise and he deserves more love than he gets.
