Of Eywa

Her word was gone, that’s all she knew. The only world, whether she enjoyed it or not was gone. All her friends, all her family, hell even her dogs were gone. Turned to ashes when a black hole came for her earth. Sometimes as she laid awake in bed she wondered if maybe just maybe something…. Someone survived the destruction of her earth.

She knew better though, she knew much better know. Only she and a baby had survived earths destruction. A baby that she had raised for the past five years of her life. A baby that’s shared a strange trait with her for not being hers biologically.

She still couldn’t decide whether she lived or hated Pandora. There was something in the air that made her felt like she belonged. Not in familiar sense, more like strings being pulled at her very soul. She wasn’t sure anymore.

This was her place now…..

If only she knew how much that would change when a man in a wheelchair came.

Y/n sat closed eyed on the ground of the Todoroki residence. Shoto attacked  Y/n but thorn covered vines blocked his every move. Shoto groans in annoyance as frost begins to cover his body. As the pair continued to spar, Enji watched with Aizawa from Enji’s office.

His turquoise eyes remaining in Y/n as Shoto attacked the sitting girl. She didn’t even need to move, her thorns would just attack. In her mind she was at a tea party with Hatter as he helped her levitate the cups.

“Enji what am I doing here?” Aizawa questioned him as he sat cross armed. Enji turned back to Aizawa with an annoyed expression.

“I found another WonderCorps facility a week ago. I was able to keep the sidekicks from asking questions it, I found something.”

“What’d you find?”

Enji pulled out a tape and held it up.

Trial 43

Subject 108

WonderCorps

Aizawa stared at the tape for a while till he realized he’d stood up and was holding the tape.

“You’ve watched it already haven’t you? That’s why I’m here.”

Enji didn’t answer, his face remaining stern and without emotion. Enji took the tape gently and put it into the computer on his desk.

As the tape turned in a tall man with brown hair, square rimed glasses and dressed in a lab coat turned on the tape camera. He took a few notes that looks at the camera.

“I am Touji Daigo but I’m know as Dr. Glass. Head of WonderCorps.”

Dr. Glass clicked a small clicker and lights in another glass room. In the glass room sat a younger Y/n. She barely look five.

She was dressed in simple grey sweatpants and black shirt. Her feet were bare and her hands bruised. Dr. Glass focus the camera on Y/n.

Y/n looked up front he ground and waved softly at the camera.

“This is experiment 108, and this is trial 43.” Dr. Glass fixed his glasses.

“Yesterday we conducted trial 42 and the results were less then stellar. 108 barely was able to control her environment. The underling almost was able to permanently injure 108.” As Dr. Glass spoke Y/n stood from the ground.

Aizawa gasped in shock as the younger Y/n stood. Her arms were covered in bandages, her left eyes was blackened and bruised, but there was a small smile on her face. A small glass door opened and a strange creature walked out.

It was misshapen on all ends, black goo dripped out of it staining the floor. Aizawa watched as Y/n’s face molded into one of pity and sadness. The aching look in her eyes felt no question that she felt a great sense of pity for the creature. It was colorful underneath the black goo.

Doctor. Glass leaned down into his mic.

“Go on Alice.” Y/n turned herself around in terror. She shook her head hurriedly as she shuffled.

“No! It’s sad! It’s hurting!” She cried and Doctor Glass sighed softly. He pressed a few buttons and eleactricons began to him in the room shocking the creature and Y/n. They both fell as the electricity pricked at their skin.

After a few moments the creature began to warp and screech. Slowly it turned into a large mass of terror. Its eyes were white and it seemed to move on command. It began to attack Y/n throwing her around like a rag doll.

Aizawa stood from his seat stepping towards the monitor. His eyes shot to the window outside just as Y/n vanished into thin air. Shoto continued trying to catch Y/n but just as he’s almost grasp her she was gone.

“Turn it off.” Enji shock his head and pointed at the monitor.

“You need to see this.” Aizawa turned back to the monitor arms crossed and defensive.

Blood covered the room as Y/n lay in a bundle was what must have been her own blood. She cough violently as she push herself onto her arms. Doctors Glass rolled his eyes softly and pulled  the mic up.

“Alice! Get up or I get subject 109 to do it.” Y/n’s eyes shot yo and she pushed herself off the ground. She panted, covered in her own blood.

“NO!” She yelled once. A mass of different lights shines from her hands as she shot a bolt as the creature. It’s screeched in agony as it dissipated into nothing. Y/n panted softly as her eyes rolled back into her skull. Doctor Glass rushed into the room, an almost fearful look.

Thorn covered vines launched out of the ground cold concrete wrapping protectively around Y/n. The vines drew more of her blood but cradled her like a small baby. Doctor Glass frozen as he watched the vines wrap around Y/n.

“Doctor Vane! End the tape!” The screen cut to black.

“She killed that thing was a bolt of lightning.” Aizawa couldn’t hear his fellow hero. His eyes trapped in the black screen.

“That wasn’t lightning, I’ve seen something like that before.” Enji quirked his head in confusion. He steeped towards the window as he watched the two children.

“When we found her, behind her the portal looked like that. All the colors mixed together in the metal conductor.” Enji nodded softly. Aizawa was the only one who saw this mysterious portal, it had shut itself down when they’d all arrived.

Outside Shoto was panting as Y/n appeared in front of him. He growled softly as he blasted as much ice as he could muster at her. The ice barricaded around her encapsulating her in a dome like structure.

Shoto panted triumphantly as he sat on the ground. Colors of all shades began to shine into the air from inside of the dome. Aizawa moved to next to Enji as the dome exploded into fractions of ice.

The multi-colored lights surrounded Y/n as she levitated just above the ground. Sharp blade of ice blazed towards shoto as a bolt it turning it to a mass of butterflies. Shoto panted as his back hit the ground in exhumation.

Y/n allowed her shadow to covered him as she sat next to him. Not a drop of sweat on her. Her tea pot and cups appeared and she pour some tea for Shoto. She stirred in some yellow sugar and red milk into the  tea. The drink turned into a deep royal blue as she brought the cup to his lips.

Both adults ran outside to check on the two child as Shoto finished up his cup. Y/n helped him sit up with a bright smile. Shoto tiredly opened his eyes to stare at her in bewilderment. Her arms crashed around Shoto’s frame with a wide smile. Shoto slowly wrapped one tired arm around her.

“You’ve gotten better.” Y/n whispered as their parents arrived. The small smile the pair shared caused a figure in the shadows to smile softly. The sun shined down on his armor as a familiar portal opened and he walked through.

Y/n’s eyes shot to the shadows, feeling the energy grow and dissipate. Her brows furrowed as she looked back at Shoto. She held him as her father knelt down with Enji.

She’d felt that power before, and she wasn’t sure if she was happy for the moment of comforting familiarity or if she was angry that power was still surviving.

Act l : The academy

Chapter One

Moon Helios

Cold and dark was all the academy was. The training of a helios was hard and many died trying. Children taken for their extra ordinary abilities. Children willing to protect what is there’s without a doubt.

Children made into Helios’s. A girl sit in a circled arena with her eyes closed breathes in and out. Her h/c hair pulled up and into a tight braid. A figure approached her with a dagger in their hand.

The figure charged at the girl coming into the torchlight. The girl stops the dagger with one movement of her hand and brought the figure to the ground.

The s/c girl opened her eyes to reveal cloudy white eyes. The figure opened her eyes as well to reveal the same cloudy white eyes. The girl pressed against the ground was shorter than the h/c girl.

“Really Isla?” The h/c asked the dark skinned girl underneath her. Isla rolled her eyes even though she knew her friend couldn’t tell. She tapped against her friend’s shoulders three times.

“Off Y/n.” Is what those three taps meant. Y/n got off Isla and help her off the ground. Around Isla’s neck was a small device that made small clicking sounds.

“Where’s your ribbon?” Isla asked using her clicker. Y/n wrapped a blue ribbon around Islas wrist. The ribbon was long enough the two girls could have their own space but short enough to make sure they stayed together.

Isla’s nappy was pulled into a ponytail with some loose curls out of it. Y/n gasped onto Isla hand and began to guide her through the sanctuary. All Helios’s in training had their sight taken away from them so that they could train from nothing.

Isla was different though. She didn’t have a voice to speak. Without her voice she was at a bigger disadvantage than most other students. Y/n made it her mission to protect and help Isla.

Isla was a great beauty. With an innocent and kind face. She was very small and stealthy. While Y/n although also was beautiful she was more strong and the better fighter. The two girls were opposite.

Isla sweet and kind. Always ready to help. Y/n angry and protective. Always ready to defend. In many ways the reason Y/n felt so close to Isla was because she reminded her of her sister. Alina. Alina was sweet, and kind. Always needed Y/n’s protection.

As the pair walked through the halls Isla kept a tight grip on Y/n’s globes hand. Suddenly Y/n stopped and Isla frozen behind her. A taller boy blocked their path.

He was tall with messy black hair, the same cloudy white eyes, and fair skin. Niko was his name. Y/n knew he was an ugly boy even though she couldn’t see him. He just felt ugly. His presence made the girls want to throw up.He had a bronze chest plate, sword strapped to his back, and a smirk kept on his face. He blocked the girls path.

“If it isn’t the mute and the half-breed.” Niko announced. Y/n glared so fiercely at the boy even though he couldn’t see it.

“Get out if our way.” Y/n growled her tone laced with annoyance.

Niko scoffed and crossed his arms. They were covered scars much like the two girls. Niko stepped closer to the pair. Y/n held her arm out protectively in front of Isla. Niko felt the movements of Y/n arm and smirked. Isla gripped onto Y/n’s hand as her guide. Y/n gently pulled Isla behind me body. Niko smirked as he moved, when he moved forward Y/n moved back.

“The poor poor mute can’t do anything without her protector.” Niko mocked as he stepped forward. Then Y/n stopped backing up Niko stumbled into her chest.

“Get out our way.” Y/n said glaring up at him. Niko stared down at her. His hatred for Y/n wasn’t well hidden. As a grisha how could he not hate Y/n. Niko placed his hand under Y/n chin with a smirk.

“I like it when you beg.” Niko mumbled while he lean towards her. Y/n moved her eyes up. Untied the ribbon and pushed Isla back. Then Y/n’s fist collided with Niko’s jaw.

“ꀤ ꓄ꂦ꒒ꀸ ꌩꂦꀎ ꓄ꂦ ꁅꍟ꓄ ꂦꀎ꓄ ꂦꎇ ꂵꌩ ꅏꍏꌩ!” Y/n growled mixing english with frjerdan. Niko turned his head towards Y/n with a glare he knew she could feel. More trainees entered the hall as the fight ragged on. Isla held onto the hall as she hear the grunts and groans of Y/n and Niko’s fight.

Y/n was on top of Niko her bruised hand pummeling into Niko’s face. A set of heavy footsteps began down the hall but they were drown out by the cheers of the fight. Y/n couldn’t stop her anger had filled her glass to high.

Her fist wouldn’t stop. She’d pull her fist back and slam it back down. Over and over. She felt the vibrations of someone walking towards them. The closer the footsteps got the harder her fist became. Then she pulled her fist back and a strong hand held hers back.

The grip on her hand was tight, but gently. The cheering had stopped, the hall had been filled with silence. Y/n dropped Niko with her other hand and looked up. He stood above her with a calm look. His brown eyes peered down into Y/n’s cloudy one.

Egon Waldow stood above his prized student. Other Helios ran to the scene and watched as Egon pulled Y/n away by the hand. Isla felt Y/n getting pulled away, her vibrations were further and further. Isla went to follow her but one of the instructors stopped her and guided her away.

Egon pulled Y/n by her arm into his rooms. Y/n didn’t struggle she knew the way even if she couldn’t see. She could never seen anymore. As Egon pulled her into the room her crossed her arms and steered down at her.

“ꅏꂦꀎ꒒ꀸ ꌩꂦꀎ ꒒ꀤꀘꍟ ꓄ꂦ ꍟꊼꉣ꒒ꍏꀤꈤ?” Egon asked his fjerdan accent coming through into his speech. Y/n stared down at her feet. Images of the room flooded into her mind as she looked away. Y/n moved towards a large table filled with papers and scrolls. Y/n gently picked up one of the scrolls.

“ꅏꃅꍏ꓄ ꀤꌗ ꓄ꃅꀤꌗ?” Y/n mumbled softly in fjerdan. Her words weren’t as well pronounced as Egon’s but she was learning.

“Those are not for you ꒒ꀤꈤꃅꂦ꒒ꂵꍟꋪꋪꍟ.” Egon explained while taking the scroll away. Y/n glared up at him while crossing her arms. She could practically feel his disappointment in her. He’d been training her better then that. He’d been training her to control her anger, her fury, her stupid temper.

“ꀤ ꍏꂵ ꈤꂦ꓄ ꍏ ꒒ꀤꈤꃅꂦ꒒ꂵꍟꋪꋪꍟ.” Y/n whispered as she leaned against one of the chairs. She could see the enter room in her head like she always could. The bed was on the back wall. His bedside table is clean and tightly. The entire room is clean and perfectly organized. Egon tilted his head to the side. He gently grabbed her chin and had her look up at him.

“ꌩꂦꀎ ꍏꉓ꓄ ꒒ꀤꀘꍟ ꍏ ꒒ꀤꈤꃅꂦ꒒ꂵꍟꋪꋪꍟ, ꌗꂦ ꀤ ꅏꀤ꒒꒒ ꉓꍏ꒒꒒ ꌩꂦꀎ ꒒ꀤꈤꃅꂦ꒒ꂵꍟꋪꋪꍟ.” Egon said while mixing English with Fjerdan. His dirty blonde hair was peppered with white. His calloused hands gently held her face. He stared down at her with a fatherly gaze. He didn’t want her to feel bad about what she’d done but she could be fighting like that.

“ꌩꂦꀎ ꀸꀤꀸ ꈤꂦ꓄ ꃅꍟꋪꍟ ꅏꃅꍏ꓄ ꃅꍟ ꌗꍏꀤꀸ.”  Y/n whispered so softly she could barely hear herself.

“What?” Egon asked inching his face towards her. Y/n felt tears prickle her eyes as she pushed him off her. She bit her lip as her hands shock.

“He was being an ꍟꌗꌗ! He called Isla a mute, he called her weak! It made me so mad. I really tried to stay calm, I promise I did. I told him to move and get out of my way. He wouldn’t listen to what I had to say! I didn’t mean to hit him I just hit him. I couldn’t stop my fist I was like I was possessed of something!” Y/n rambled quickly her voice shaking. She began to scratch at her neck as she stared away from him.

Egon gently grasped her hands. Her hands were soft, not yet so rough as his. He stared down into her white eyes are tears weld up inside.

“ꀤ ꍏꂵ ꈤꂦ꓄ ꍏꈤꁅꋪꌩ ꌩꂦꀎ ꃅꀤ꓄ ꃅꀤꂵ, ꀤ ꂵꍟꋪꍟ꒒ꌩ ꅏꀤꌗꃅ ꌩꂦꀎ ꅏꂦꀎ꒒ꀸ ꍏ꓄꓄ꍟꂵꉣ꓄ ꓄ꂦ ꉓꂦꈤ꓄ꋪꂦ꒒ ꌩꂦꀎꋪ ꍏꈤꁅꍟꋪ.” Egon explained. His voice was calm and collected. The tears fell down Y/n’s face. She crashed her arms around his waist as she buried her head. Egon sighed and wrapped his arms around his sobbing student.

Y/n sobbed into Egon’s torso, her tears dripping onto his shirt. Egon strokes her hair and whispers soothing words in her ear. Egon tells her that everything will be alright. Egon kisses her forehead and holds her close, offering her warmth and comfort in her moment of distress. Despite the sadness, there is a sense of bonding that comes from this moment as Helios master and his prized student lean into each other for support.

As he gently held onto her as she practically crumpled into his arms. Y/n struggled to breathe, this was too much. All she wanted was to go home. Back to Alina, back to Mal, back to the meadow. As if he could hear her thoughts he gently grabbed her face.

“This is your home now, and you will be a Helios. You will serve our Sun summoner just like I do.” Egon said while holding her face up.

“Was it worth it?” Y/n mumbled as she stared up.

“What?” Egon questioned gently.

“Was it worth it? You gave your life for this. You gave up your religion, you gave up your family, your nation. Everything.” Y/n stared up at him. All she needed was to be to,d it was worth it. Then she’d do it. She’d continue going through hell for her Saint. Egon stared down at his face unreadable.

Y/n could see through her blindness at the moment. Her sight had come earlier then most. She could see through her mind unlike many of her competitors. But now she was just blind. Egon lend down and kissed her forehead.

“For our saint, it was all worth it.”

Fairy of monsters

Chapter one

Advesperascit

(N.) the approaching dark: the evening draws near

A girl with umber hair and blue eyes that have a circle of gold in then, is seen singing in a soft tone. As the water flows from the fossett, while she scrubs a dish with her sponge, she sings.

“Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens.

Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens.

Brown paper packages tied up with strings.

These are a few of my favorite things.”

Another girl can be seen entering the house. This girl has fiery red hair and the same eyes. Her makeup was messed up, and her shoes were off. But still the girl sang her song.

“Cream-colored ponies and crisp apple strudels.

Doorbells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles.

Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings.

These are a few of my favorite things.”

The red head went to go upstairs ,but felt the small splash of water to her back.  Turning around the red head glares at the brunette.

“I told mom and dad that you were at the park and would be home late. They believed it thankfully. So Bloom how was the party?” The brunette questions.

“It was fine Alastaria. What are you still doing up. Mom still making you clean the whole first floor after dinner?”Bloom asks her sister. Bloom noticed  her sisters long umber hair was up in a messy ponytail. A black apron on top of her grey checkered shirt with a long black skirt.

“No I had to make muffins for moms workers. I’m cleaning the dish’s. How was Andy, and I have some leftover cake from dinner. It’s calling your name on it. It’s lemon and pistachio.” Alastaria sang to Bloom.

Rolling her eyes bloom makes her way to the counter. A cheeky smile came on Alastaria’s face, and she grabs a plate from the fridge. Alastaria lightly tosses the plate of cake to her sister.

“You know he wants to apologize, you should let him. Do they still hurt” Bloom mumbled with cake in her mouth. Subconsciously Alastaria moved to her left arm and softly grabs her arm. This was all bloom needed to know they still hurt.

“I’m gonna go to bed, you should too. After all I don’t think that you got much sleep last night.”Bloom states. A smile comes on Alastaria’s face as she drys her hands. Walking over to the staircase Bloom and Alastaria walk to there room and lay down to sleep.

……………………

“Wake up sleepy head the suns been up for ages.” The girls mom yells. “Mom five more minutes” Bloom complains. “Your late Bloom” her mother sings. Jumping up bloom yells “school!!”.  Bloom runs around trying  to get ready.

Downstairs Alastaria is pulling out a pan of muffins. She places them in a box, and ties a ribbon around it. The toaster pops up with her dads toast. She grabs it and, Bloom comes downstairs complaining how she never gets to go on holiday by herself.

“Bloom your sister never wants to go on holiday. She always cleans, cooks, bakes, and dose well in her sports. Bloom maybe when we go to the beach you can go somewhere without us okay. Also Bloom how about we show you girls something” Vanessa says.

“Ya just a little something to help you girls get around gardenia.” Mike replies to his wife. He winks at her with a smile. The two girls run out of there house thanking there parents, think they would be getting scoters. Unfortunately the girls only see a red and grey bike in there front yard.

Disappointed the girls walk over to the bikes, but tell there parents thank you. As Bloom ride to the park Alastaria stays behind to talk with her parents.

“Mom I left you orange and cranberry muffins for the flower shop employees. Dad there are some chocolate muffins and blueberries muffins for your firefighter team. Love you have a good day” Alastaria yells.

As Alastaria rides to the park she takes a bite out of a chocolate croissant she grabbed. She entered the park with a sigh Alastaria saw her sister following her rabbit into the woods of the park. Finishing her croissant she ran after Bloom.

Ending up on a different tree Alastaria looked at the sight before you. A girl with blond hair, wings and a staff! Was fighting a bunch of monsters. Suddenly Bloom yelled “Leave her alone!”.

All at once monsters started to charge at Bloom. “No! BLOOM!” Alastaria screams. This makes some of the monsters charge at her. A burning sensation comes over Alastaria’s eyes right before they get to Close. Bloom made and energy blast while the monsters stop and whispered something at Alastaria.

The monsters around Alastaria ran back to the ogre. Yelling something in there tough, the ogre looked shock at what the monster were saying. The ogre picked up bloom, and Alastaria runs to the blonde.

“Let my sister go!” Alastaria screams. The ogre looks at Alastaria and whispers to low for anyone to hear. But before he puts bloom down bloom blasts him and a dragon silhouette comes out of the orange blast.

Bloom lands on the ground infront of  the blonde and Alastaria. “Wow powerful” the blonde states. The blonde stood up and grabbed her staff and went up to bloom. She asked “You okay? And you are you okay?” Bloom and Alastaria just nod there heads.

“I have my scepter back now you don’t scare me any more” the blonde told the ogre. The blonde blast him and the other monsters attack , while Bloom and Alastaria stare at her in awe. Two monsters go over to the sisters, and rip a piece of there clothes. With the monster running over to the ogre they retreated.

As the blonde says something to Bloom, Alastaria realizes that she understood what the monster said. The monster said “Her Highness is Here” over and over. Alastaria wondered how she knew what they were saying.

Hearing a thud to her left Alastaria looks over, and sees the blonde is unconscious on the ground. Standing up Alastaria runs over to the blonde and shakes her. “Bloom what happed?” Alastaria questions. “She just collapsed!” Bloom explains.

“We need to get her home. Can you take her on your bike?” Bloom asks. Nodding her head Alastaria picked up the blonde. “We’re lucky that I workout and do martial arts. Or we wouldn’t have been able to get her home.”Alastaria teased.

………………………………

In another dimension the ogre walk to the middle of three people. “So you failed” one of the witches said. “Not my fault highness. I had the scepter in my hands, but then theses  earthling girls appears and messes everything up.”The ogre explains. “Earthling girls” another witch questions. This witch was very confused on how a earthlIng girl  cause problems.

“Oh but they weren’t any ordinary earthlings, ones got powers she pushed back my gouhls just like that. The other well she was different .” “Interesting describe this them.” the first witch said. “Your glasses were are they!” the third witch yelled.

“Right here highness” the ogre stuttered. Pulling out a pair a glasses he put them on. “Quite theses girl could mean something to us!” The second witch screams. “Don’t worry highness two of my gouls  grabbed this. It’s pieces of there clothes. To us this is nothing but to a hunting troll, it’s an important clue” ogre states.

A blue hunting troll came from the side and  garbs the clothes. After smelling the blue pant piece, the troll smells the black skirt fabric. Only to drop it and yell in his tongue “Highness her highness”.

“Her highness” the first witch sneered. “What do you mean Her highness. Her Highness isn’t supposed to come of another 2,000 years. Plus if Her Highness was alive she would have taken back her kingdom. She would have destroyed Lord Azazel!” she screamed.

“Now mow sister calm down. If Her Highness is truly alive she make be of great help to us. Knut bring us the girls” the second witch explains calmly.

“And don’t let us down!” all three witches yelled.

…………………………………………………………

As Bloom and there Dad argue Alastaria sits at the blonde girls side. “No no please don’t tell anyone”the blonde says sleepily. “She coming too. How do you feel?” The girls mother asked. The blonde made a sound of confusion. “I’m alright thanks for helping me out” the says.

Taking all the credit Bloom blushes. “Oh it was nothing” Bloom gushes. Sad look comes on Alastaria’s face, as she thinks that the blonde didn’t care that she helped to. “My names Stella, and where is the other girl who helped me” Stella asked. A look of annoyance came on Blooms face as she points to where Alastaria is sitting.

Alastaria just waves at Stella with a smile on her face. “Hello Stella my names Alastaria, and the other girls name is Bloom. She’s my sister. Are you okay? Are you hungry or, do you need some water?” Alastaria questions.

“Should we call your parents dear?” Vanessa asks Stella. Stella just sits up and smiles. “That would be difficult they live in a place a bit far from here. Have you heard of Solaria it’s a kingdom far far away. I’m a fairy you know. I was trying to get to Alfea in the realm of magix” but Stella is cut off by Mike.

“Oh but course I’m calling the police. It doesn’t take a genius to realize this girl is seriously out of her mind!” Mike yells. As he is about to phone the police Stella (who looks very mad) points her finger at the phone. The phone changes into a carrot and a cabbage.

“She not crazy Dad! Look at her clothes! What normals person wears clothes like that! And look at her  hair there is literally a crown thing in it” Alastaria objects.

“Alright you believe me now?”Stella smugly asks. A smirk comes on Alastaria’s face as she looks at Stella. Bloom defense Stella saying “yeah I saw her and I believe her.” Stella  begins to explain that those creatures attacked her, and how she was forced to land here.

“Your daughters saved my life. Bloom pushed back the ghouls with an energy shield. And Alastaria well I don’t know what she did but, the ghouls ran away from her screaming. As if they were scared” Stella cheered.

A smug smiles comes on Blooms lips as she looks at her sister. “Actually I don’t know how I did it.” Bloom sneers. Alastaria just thinks about how the ghouls ran away from her. How they seemed scared. “I don’t think I did anything either. I just looked at them.” Alastaria states. Bloom scoffs at her sister, annoyed as to why Alastaria was trying to make it seem like she had done anything. Bloom believed that she was the one that help Stell not Alastaria.

“A fairy doesn’t need to know how she just does it that’s all” Stella explains. Beaming Bloom gushes “I’m a a Fairy.” Smiling Stella nods her head. “Of course you are don’t tell me your not. Have you registered for the new program at Alfea Castle? It’s the best School for young fairies like you and me” Stella declared.

“If Blooms a fairy what am I?” Alastaria questions. Bloom glares at Alastaria, furious that her sister changed the topic. “Alastaria don’t be rude! Just because I’m special doesn’t mean that you have to be” Bloom states. Alastaria looks down in sadness. “Girls go to your room I need to talk with your Mother!” Mike yells. Mike glares at his wife for not doing anything about what Bloom said to Alastaria. The girls walk to the sisters shared room not noticing the gouhls watching there everyone.

Especially Alastaria!

Mattheo Riddle X Pregnant!fem!reader ???

Y/n couldn’t stop herself from shaking as she sat on her boyfriend, Mattheo Riddle’s bed. He stared down at her, a pained expression on his face. Her heart pounded in her chest like a she was running. Tears threatened to explode from her eyes like a bomb. Slowly Mattheo lowered himself down and kneeled right in front of her.

“Princess… why didn’t you tell me?” Mattheo pondered softly as if speaking to a frightened doe. In many ways you were his doe, with your big e/c eyes and pretty smile. “I was scared.” You muttered. He placed his slightly roughened hands on the bed at her side.

“Why?” You couldn’t answer. Tears poured down your face. His hands instinctively wiped the gushing tears.

“Why princess?” Mattheo repeated.

“I was scared you would make me…. Make me get rid of them.” Mattheo froze, his puppy brown eyes falling. His princess thought he’d make them get rid of their baby? His heart shattered as he saw the pure terror in her eyes.

“Princess…” Mattheo slowly brought his hands to your cheek, wiping the steady stream of tears flowing from your eyes. Mattheo would never make you get rid of your baby.

This baby was a part your you, a part of him, a part of them. It was a sign of their love, a love that Mattheo thought he’d be denied. As the son of the Dark Lord, he never expected to fall in love. Much less with you, his perfect girl.

Who always helped the younger Slytherins, always gave everyone the prettiest smile, always happy with your pretty doe eyes.

Mattheo never thought you’d love him, that he was capable of being loved. But here you were, sobbing on his bed, pregnant… pregnant with his baby.

Mattheo knew the risks of having sex without a condom, normally he was so good at pulling out with they went without one. However after he finally beat Potter in the match he couldn’t keep his hands off you. The both of you hand no control over yourselves and didn’t care.

“What do you wanna do?” Mattheo voiced firmly. He needed to keep you steady.

“I’m scared Matty, I dunno know what I wanna do.” You cried softly, hands buried in his sheets. Mattheo quickly brought you into a tight comforting hug. He rubbed her back in soft circles.

“Whatever you want, we’re gonna do it together.” Mattheo mumbled softly into her ear. Y/n sniffled softly as she hugged him tightly.

In the end the pair kept the baby, and in nine months they had a beautiful baby girl. Helga Riddle and she was their miracle.

Act II : The Fold

Chapter Eight

Moon Helios

It was nightfall, the clouds has blocked the moon from view. The letters lay heavy in her lap. There was only one she truely wanted to open. Her lovely Drazan who had never once swayed from her loyalties. The letter on tea stained paper smelt of pine. Opening the letter it read.

     To my beloved amber,

The days grow shorter every day that I am not in your presence. All is well enough here, worry not. I’ve taken charge of the youngling’s classes as you requested. Niko has been helping me a great deal. He misses you, I think he still blames himself for your leaving. Lord Egon is still devastated and unmoved. He refuses to join in any of the celebrations. I suppose he only ever enjoyed them because you did. He runs council adequately enough.

I fear for him sometimes, the other masters grow more brazen with each passing day. Master Kai has demanded my sister’s hand. Arabella has tried to sway our father but to no real avail. I will soon plead my case to Lord Egon, I know he would act in our favor. Master Kai is relentless in his pursuit of her, my little rose bud. I fear for her sometimes, that I will awake and she will be gone.

I don’t truly know what to do, it would be easier if you were here. You’d fixed this whole thing and probably kill Kai for us. On a happier note Adam has found himself a bride, she’s quite the gem. They are due to be married in the coming year. You would like her, she rather feisty, and always challenging him. She never wins but it gives us all a good laugh.

Kheli is all the same, he still teaches the youngling’s dance class. He was always more particular about dance than our blades. He has yet to ask Adara to dance with him. It’s rather pitiful to watch. She is always staring right at him too. It’s amazing how much a coward some can be. How I can be

Nevertheless almost everything is well. I fear you will be called back soon. I know you’re busy in the ravkan army. Why you decided to join will never be understood by the others. I hope Alina and Mal are well. I’m sure you’re all still catching up a ton. How’s Maja? I’m sure she misses the smoked meats I would bring her. I miss you greatly. I’m sure we will see one another soon.

With all my Love, your Devoted Helios

                                 Drazan Vlaev

Y/n sighed into the air of the night. She too missed Drazan, he was a rare light in her life. The saint herself must’ve sent him to her. She looked about the camp without a care. All these soldiers knew nothing of her faith.

They all looked down at her, like she was less than them for it. A faith they didn’t understand. Cultist they all whispered as she walked. Like she was a mad for believing in a higher power. They had saints, why couldn’t she have just one.

The Sol Saint was one of prophecy, they had to believe in a being that didn’t exist yet. All Helios were bound by blood to this saint. No one would deny her faith. She bled, She killed she loved, and she would betray anyone for her saint. Those were the sacrifices of a Helios.

But deep within her  mind, she pondered . Could she sacrifice Alina? Could she sacrifice Mal? Could she sacrifice all those she cared, dear to her heart? For something she wasn’t even sure it was real. Would she do it? This was the kind of question she should be asking herself. She was a Helios first before anything. Before a sister, before a daughter, before a friend.

She had earned the title that had been bestowed upon her .

The Blood Helios, none who ever encountered her had left with their lives. She bathed in their blood by herself. And then offered it upon the altar of her saint.

She was the Blood Helios, and no one would deny it.

Moon Helios

She stood next to Mal as the Skiff was boarded. Maja sat obediently as her side, her snout raised high in the air. Y/n rolled her soldiers hand off her gun to Mal. She pet the soft curls of Maja’s white fur. With the soft roll of her shoulders the armor poured down her body.

From her neck it came like silver tears, slowly enveloping her body. Mal raised his brow as she took the gun back. He stares in awe along with the others whom had never seen the cultist in her armor. Y/n moved to the front where Natacha stood, the Inferni in charge of this skiff.

“Looking as lovely as always.” Y/n smiled at the dark skinned woman before her.

“You’re not to shabby yourself.” The words were soft. The pair had become akin to friends. They often flirted softly with one another, truly it was all playful banter. Y/n turned her head, Alina was on the skiff. What in the world was she doing her.

Y/n quickly moved over, her small family was arguing quietly. Maja’s eyes followed Alina and Mall tenderly.

“Alina get off this fucking Skiff.” Y/n grabbed into the girls arm. Alina smirked triumphantly and moved past her.

“Tell them you’re too sick to go.” Mal pleaded.

“I’m never that sick.” Alina argued.

“Lie if you have to!” Y/n gripping tightly into Alina.

“And what’s your lie? I’m with you.” Y/n shared a look with Mal. She gently pushed her sister it to his side.

“Mal, fix this.” Y/n then turned around, her blood boiling. She smelt the smirk coming off his sister. How stupid could she been. She could all but feel the vibrations of anger coming off the other cartographers. What has her sister done.

Natacha sent her a small look of concern as Y/n stood back by her side. Y/n’s eyes never left Alina’s. She clicked her tongue, Maja moved to her side. The large wolf sat down and growl at any soldier that got too close to her. Natacha clapped her hands moving forwards, Y/n followed suit.

“Here’s how it goes. We go into the Fold, it gets dark but we like it dark. That keeps us from drawing attention. That’s how we travel. The only light we use is the blue one at the mast.” Y/n kept her eyes on Alina. She looked so defenseless standing alone.

“It’s weak but safe.” Natacha continued.

“But you’re an Inferni, right? So why are you here if we’re supposed to keep things dark?” Raisa asked. Y/n rolled her eyes at the stupid question, cartographers were the smartest.

“For when the dark comes to keep you.” Raisa raised her brow.

“And what’s about the Cultist?” Y/n turned her gaze to the cartographer leader.

“For when we cannot defeat dark with fire, we send in someone who will devour the darkness.” Natacha’s voice carried an emblem of anger. The other soldiers turned to her with fear in their eyes. Y/n saw the small smirk that was sent her way.

Natacha never ceased to amuse her, and to feed into the cultist, rumors that many believed about her.

“Where’s your general? Kirigan?” Mal asked. Y/n blinked a few times at the mention of the Darkling. He could stay in the dark where he bathed. The skiffs sail was released and the  skiff jutted forwards.

“That’s our cue.” Natacha and Y/n moved in sync. Y/n now stood at the front of the skiff and Natacha by the blue light. From above the squaller began to move the skiff towards the fold.

Natacha sent a small nod towards Y/n, with a smile the Helios moved towards her sister’s side. Y/n stood in front of her as the small ribbon holding her hair back came loose. From the front the sergeant began to speak, but these words did not matter in her mind.

Alina was on a skiff, Mal was in this skiff. The two people she never wanted to see the inside of the fold. The heavy winds blew her hair back, the ribbon followed off. Y/n barely turned her head to look at it. Alina’s scarf had too come off.

She watched the two pieces of fabric float through the wind. Her eyes followed them till they passed the dock. On the dock a man stood, shrouded in black. He watched the skiff so intently, Y/n knew he couldn’t she see herself staring back at him.

It didn’t matter, as Alina sough out her armored hand. Y/n clutched it softly as Mal. came to her side.

“I’m pretty sure this the first time I’ve seen you all armored up.” Mal’s words should’ve brought a smile to her face. It didn’t.

“In we go.” Natacha mumbled. Y/n reached to her side, pulling out the small cuff. It was of pure gold and has a sun rested in its middle. She placed it in her forearm. The metal infused with her silver armor, a soft glow embroidered it.

From her hand a crossbow of light emerged, an arrow already knocked in it. The glow died down quickly as she raised the crossbow. She took in a deep breath and closed her eyes. Alina and Mal were now her top priority. All others could be forsaken.

The darkness enveloped her body, it as oddly warm to her. It encased her, welcomed her home as it always did. Opening her eyes she listened to the growling of the Volcra that flew around them. She could feel every vibration they caused. Terror coated Alina’s face as she clung onto Y/n.

As the skiff moved slowly, Y/n watched the darkened sky’s. When the first marker approached she rolled her shoulders. The holy cuff didn’t shine as it did in the sunlight. It was muted now, but no less dangerous.

“Marker one.” Natacha voiced as she passed the two sisters. Alina looked behind her to the Inferni.

“How many more are there?” Y/n opened her mouth to soothe her sister. Not many Y/n would lie.

“Thirty seven.” Natacha said walking away. Y/n sighed softly as she watched Alina’s face drop. Mal looked back at the two sisters. With a nod from Y/n he tore his gaze away. The anger Y/n felt was all the same, Alina should not be there.

The volcra above screeched and growled as they flew. The rhythmic vibrations of there wings was enough to lull Y/n to sleep. It seemed to push at her eyelids, to force them down. She could never listen to closely to the volcra or she would sleep.

Raisa’s accusatory gaze found Alina’s as they passed a fallen ship. A particularly loud growl frightened the gunman into to ready positions. Y/n remained where she was. She pushed Alina to sit on the floor as she joined the grisha. They moved about the skiff quietly, but no where near as silent as Y/n.

With all the armor on she was still as silent as snow. Slowly the blue light began to go out. Natacha moved to it quickly, hitting the glass. Y/n quickly moved next to her and opened the lantern. She sprinkled in a soft blue powder from a small pouch at her side. She blowed softly on it, the blue flame caught once more.

Natacha and Y/n shared a calm look for a few seconds till the sound of a lighter interrupted the peace. Y/n whipped around to see one of the soldiers holding a lit lantern. A tremble seemed to be through the air.

“Blow it out! What are you doing?” Natacha whispered, there was a tremor in her. From behind the boy came growling. Horrible, gut wrenching growling. From behind the boy a Volcra rose to its full height. Y/n shot out the golden arrow from her bow quickly.

The Volcra screeched and flew away with a limp. It was all too late though. Another Volcra swarmed down, grabbing the boy. It bit down onto his leg and flew off no matter how many arrows she shot. The lantern fell down, its fire quickly emerging across the wooden boards.

From all around the Volcra growled. Y/n looked back at Alina, she was crouching next to the fire. Y/n stood in front of her sister, crossbow knocked with another arrow. Like the demons they were the Volcra swept through the skiff. The squaller moving the skiff was gone next.

Y/n began to fire automatically, each golden arrow erupted in sunlight when piercing the flesh of the Volcra. They reappeared after every shot fire. Raisa was gone next, the Volcra having taking a bite of her shoulder. The blood drips onto her face as the Volcra carried her away. Y/n dropped down, shielding Alina as the side broke down in flames.

Y/n stood back up her hands going back to her cross bow. She fired each arrow as a body fell next to her. Alina’s vibrations were quivering as she shrunk away from the man’s still moving corpse. Y/n coughed as smoke rose up. Her helmet slowly infused into her neck.

Y/n pulled the thing off, she needed to be able to see Alina. Her eyes drifted for a seconds to Mal. A Volcra swept over him dangerously close. Y/n shot out an arrow. It wasn’t fast enough. Mal ducked before the Volcra could grab him. The crossbow disappears in a buff of gold as she reached down.

She pulled the twin daggers from her side, lodging them into a Volcra that swept too close to her. They cried out in pain as she raised her hand, the daggers flying back to their master. This was a suicide mission and Y/n knew it. Not many would survive this.

Y/n looked down at Alina for a seconds. She knelt down and handed her sister a dagger.

It was a subtle plead.

“Don’t move.” She commanded as she moved away. She couldn’t let all these people die, it would be a shame to her abilities if she couldn’t save them. Her dangers flew from her hands and came back. It was like a dance as she moved quickly around the skiff, killing any Volcra in her path.

Maja barked wildly, attacking all the Volcra in sight. The ones that got to close to her and Alina that was. Her teeth were coated in black.

“Come at me! Come at me you cowards!” Natacha screamed as a Volcra took her by the shoulder. Y/n threw herself forward towards the Volcra. Her dagger flew into its neck as she tore its head from its body. It’s blackened blood sprayed all over her as she caught Natacha in her arms.

She was breathing hoarsely, there was a hold in her neck. Y/n pushed her hands into the large wound on her shoulder. Tears flooded her eyes, this wasn’t happening. Natacha had always been kind to her. Didn’t care for her extreme faith.

“No no no no no no! NO! Don’t close your eyes!” Y/n held her friends tore body as she died. Her blue kefta was destroyed as she laid down her body. This wasn’t supposed to happen, not to them. Y/n stood up and her daggers formed into large swords. They sliced the Volcra clean in half before two grisha.

Y/n heard screaming, Mal’s screams. She turned around, sweat and blood dripping down her face. She threw herself forward quickly. Blood seemed to envelope her vision as she stabbed into the flying demon. Mal’s body dropped down as Y/n pieced its wings. The stupid animal dropped down, its blood all over her. Y/n coughed as the blood dripped into her mouth.

She crawl desperately over to Mal, who was held by Alina. She hadn’t protected them like she promised. She failed them. She gripped into Mal’s other hands as the chaos continued around them. She could feel his vibrations, they weren’t as strong as normal.

She failed.

Tears covered his face as she whispered his name, “Mal?” Maja whined softly and licked the side of his face.

The fire flickered around, its lights illuminating her face. The two sisters clung into him as nothing else seemed to exist. Her mouth tasted of iron and rot. She could help but sob as she held him. Her family, her small family was about to be smaller.

His vibrations echoed in her ears as she sniffled. Alina cried at her side as they held him. They two refused to let go of him. Her armor fell she clung to him, his skin to buzz. She felt a ringing in her ears, like a twinkle.

“I’ll meet you two at the meadow.” His words froze her sobs as he spoke. She couldn’t let such a thing happen. She cried softly as she felt wind blow around her. Alina was pulled up, a volcra’s claws around her waist. No……

Y/n still clutching Mal’s hand threw herself up. Her bare hand caught into Alina’s, fear and panic all over her face. It was warm, as she clung into her family her body became warm. A light began to grow out of her body and she clung to them.

Light exploded from her body, the overwhelming sensation grew as another source of light grew with her. It surrounded around the skiff, throwing the shadows back from the world. Then her world was blank.

Moon Helios

Everything was foggy, her vision, her hearing her mind. She could feel every vibration around them. The heavy hands around her, as her legs laid limp. They dragged her to gods know where. She was bleeding, somewhere in her body she was bleeding. Probably her leg, it felt like it was on fire.

Where was Alina.

Where was her sister…..

Well her saint she supposed. She watched it happen, her sister could summon light. Alina has saved them all. What was left of them she guessed.

She could hear the loud and quickly movement of the guards, the healer that ran next to them.

“Mal…. Lina…..Maja….” She coughed as she felt a bone boop back into place.

“Careful! Are going to hurt her dragging g her like that!” The healers voice was timid but loud. The men dragged her didn’t listen as she moved. Her ears rung, she could feel the blood dripping down her ears. Her armor was covered in a thick layer of blood.

Maja barked loudly as she followed. The men tried to kick at her. Y/n jerked away ready to kill them for trying to hurt her wolf. Maja growls as she followed them. Her fur was covered in black. Y/n knew how much she hates to be messy. She would give her sweet girl a nice hot bath once this was over.

She opened her eyes to a fuzzy worlds. Grisha moved out of her way, dread coating their faces. She must’ve looked like animal, wounded and bloody. Her hair fell, covering her face.

“Where is she?” The healer squeaked at the sound of her voice, rough and dangerous. The young healer and blinked a few times as she held her hands together.

“Behind us,” She paused looking at the man dragged Y/n. “Stop dragging her like that! You’re going to break her arm.” They did not listen as the healer followed them. The black tent was moved aside and she was forced in. Her knees hit the ground, her armor clanking. She coughed for a seconds and took in a breath.

She focused herself, listening to the vibrations of the world. A hush has fallen over the tent. It opened once more and she felt Alina. Her eyes jumped open as she felt her sister pull away from the guards. Alina’s trembling hands wound around her shoulder. The cold bits of armor touching her sister’s skin.

Y/n hugged her sister tightly, her hand resting atop her head. Alina smelt of smoke, not the normal scent. Her legs and body was weak. But she smiled at Alina as the girl pulled back.

“Bring them closer.” Her eyes snapped to the voice before her. He stood, back to them as guards grabbed into the girls. Her elbow forced its way to a guards face when her tried to grab Alina. She stood on her shaking legs, hiding her sister behind her.

She took a small step for them, Alina clung to Y/n. Her smaller frame hidden behind the grime covered armor of her sister. Y/n would not let this man anywhere near her sister. Her…. Her saint.

Slowly the man turned, her eyes went blank. It was him. The Darkling, The black general, the shadow summoner. He was the man who plagued her dreams. His dark eyes were the ones that she would think about.

Alina grabbed onto Y/n’s hand, her armor now covered her once more. Y/n glare at him, piecing into those dark eyes like she never had.  If only looks could kill.

“Closer.” His words were like honey to her ears. All she could feel now was him. His vibrations were steady, like an unmoving mountain with the force to shake the earth. Y/n would not submit and move closer.

She remained right where she stood. A pillar of strength and might. A Helios ready to slaughter any in her path. Alina gently nudged her, obviously afraid of reprisals. Y/n took a small step, Alina followed behind.

“Well?” He asked. The glare did not leave her face. She studied him, he was perfect. At every angle he was perfect. Just like in every dream he was perfect. He was taller than her, like in her dreams.

“Well what?…” After a few seconds Alina timidly added, “Sir.”

She hated the way Alina sounded so afraid. The way she hide behind the strength that her sister held. Her hand trembled still.

“What are you? His gaze wasn’t on Alina. They two stared deeply into the other. Y/n’s e/c eyes refused to break away. His dark origins watched her every move. Like a hawk he stared at Y/n.

“Alina Starkov, Assistant Cartographer, Royal Corps of Surveyors.” Alina trembled. She didn’t speak, she didn’t owe the Darkling the luxury of her name. His eyes didn’t leave hers. He just waited in silence for her name. Glaring at him she relented.

“Y/n Starkov, Private Commander, Royal Corps of Combat, Blood Helios of the First Army” His lips perked up at the sound of her voice. She didn’t like that at all.

“They’re all gone.” Alina mumbled.

“It’s our fault. That’s why we’re here ain’t it?” She whispered clinging into Y/n’s hand. The Darkling raised his hand suddenly.

“Answer the question.” Why was he speaking like that. Why was he staring at her. They way he spoke, moving like he was trying to coax a frightened doe towards himself. Is that what he thought her? A scared doe? And not the blood thirsty beast. Maja growled as the Darkling slowly leaded against the table behind him.

“What are you?” Y/n felt Alina flicker, she was confused.

“A mapmaker, sir.”

“A Helios.” They laughed. A growl came from Maja and Y/n in sync. They dared to laugh int here faces. Where was the honor in this grisha.

“Quiet.” They all went silent. Maja too quiet down and sat by her side. He hadn’t even raised his voice an ounce. He made Maja just sit down by her side. No one had even done such a thing to her wolf.

The Darkling stared at her, his eyes trailing down her. He tore his eyes away looking around the tent.

“So who actually saw what happened?” There was a hush over the crowd. His eyes turned to the dirty Suli girl at there side. She was one of the grisha whom she decapitated the Volcra in front of.

“Zoya? You manned the main sail.” His voice was a bit more harsh now. A twinkle of anger was on his face.

“We were attacked barely two markers in.” Zoya swallowed and continued. “Someone lit a lantern.” His eyes trailed back to Y/n’s.

“And?”

“The Volcra went after the ruffle man and our Inferni first, the Cultist tired to kill most of them but-

“Cultist?” He asked. She moved her eyes to Zoya, they seemed to darken. Y/n had saved her life. Ungrateful fucking girl. Cultist they still called her. After she saved them they would still call her cultist.

Zoya frozen back a little upon the question. She looked back at Y/n and the Darkling seemed to make the connection.

“The armored one was killing the Volcra.” Zoya restated. She couldn’t even be bothered to call her what she was. Helios, was it that hard to remember. The Darkling nodded in her direction, his eyes never leaving Y/n.

“And then there was a searing light, one white and other a more silver color.” Zoya finished.

“It was them.” The other voice rang out. Y/n glare at the man who spoke. Alina hid further behind Y/n.

“Our Helios and mapmaker.” He tilted his head.

“Is this true? Can you both summon light?” Alina shook her head in shocked. The Darkling followed her motion mocking her. He mocked her sister. Her saint! The fear that radiated off Alina was enough to make Y/n want to kill this Darkling.

“Where did you grow up?” Y/n wasn’t sure how to answer. For her first twelve years it was in Keramzin, but after that it was in the sanctuary. She wouldn’t tell him where her home was. She didn’t need to.

“Keramzin.” Alina muttered, The Darkling’s eyes remained on her own. Like he expected a different answer. He would get none.

“And when were you tested.” Never, that was only answer. They hadn’t been properly tested. The scars on their hands were proof enough.

“You don’t remember?” He asked. She pushed Alina further behind her body as the Darkling moved towards them.

“Well let us just make certain.” Every step he took was a personal attack. He removed his ring and pushed a small claw like blade from it. She felt Alina quiver in her grip. Her heart sank to the bottom pits of death as she took a step back.

“Lift up your sleeve,” He paused looking at her. “Remove your armor.” He stood right above her. She didn’t think, the dagger manifested before she could stop herself. It pressed into his stomach as she clutched it.

“Move closer, and I will gut your intestines out and shove them down your throat.” A collective gasp rang through the tent. The oprichniki took a step towards her, the threat that she was. He simply waved them off, like fussing children.

“Why do they call you cultist?” He softly asked, the faintest of smirks on his face. She twisted the blade in her grip.

“Because I have killed and will kill for my faith.” He hummed once. Her heart began to beat loudly in her ears. Its intensity changed, beating harder with every pulse. She choked in her breath as the dagger hit the floor.

She stood there as she felt her body begin to shift. Her gaze tired to the other grisha, the ones in red kefta’s. One of them had his hands together, he was messing with her. It wasn’t enough to shake her though. She coughed softly as she took long slow breathes.

Another soon joined him, then another, and another till all the Heartrender’s stood firm. Her body sank to the ground as she fought the effects. Blood dripped down her nose, mouth and ears. She coughed as she tried to force her way back up.

The Darkling took small steps around her. His eyes never leaving her fighting crumpled form. She watched in horror as he grabbed onto her sister, her Alina. Maja growled and barked loudly, piercing through all their ears. However the wolf refused to leave Y/n’s side as she tried to fight.

The room began to buzz as she hands shook. The vibrations of every living thing amplified. The heartrender’s hands began to shake as the dark room began to shift. Slowly she lifted her body, fighting there manipulations of her body with her own.

The first grisha who stood to stop her glare, his harsh eyes trying to force her back down. It was too late now, her armor had deflected most of the others. Her vibrations only grew as others covered their ears.

The moment she stood up right a wave of light hit her. She body froze as she watched. From the small cut came a blaze of light. It was the sun ten fold. Her mind was blank. Alina really was her saint. The very saint she was supposed to protect with her life.

She fell to one knee in shock as the lights slowly faded away. Alina’s eyes drifted over to Y/n’s so fearful of what she was. The two sisters didn’t have words. What words could they express.

Alina was her saint. The being she’d been worshiping since childhood. A saint that was prophesied to come. No one knew when, it was an old tale.

Y/n had killed for her, in the name of her sister. Her saint that she never knew about. How could she now know. Before the globes, before she left she held Alina. Held her hand, her body so many times.

The two were always cut up, maybe that was why. She couldn’t move as the oprichniki grabbed into her. She watched for a few fleeting seconds as they dragged her sister away.

Her body flew up trying to follow. A right hand gripped into her arm. She looked back and there he was. The Darkling. Her natural enemy. What was she to do now. She pulled away, she wiped at the blood.

“Where are you taking her!” He tilted his head.

“What are you.” Again with such a stupid question.

“Where is she going?” He stared down at her, marveled at what we before him. She blinked a few times, unsure.

“Let your armor fall.” Scoffed out loud, her eyes rolling back. She would sooner die, she would sooner kill every single person in the tent than let him any closer. Maja barked loudly, he sighed once.

The same heartrender from before held his hands up. Whining Maja slowly laid down, her eyes fluttering. She felt his arm tightly around her. She jerked away, trying to reach her wolf.

“Stop it! What are you doing! STOP IT!” She yelled. He just looked at her, like a predator would its prey. He has no idea she was the apex in this situation. His gaze was so strange as she jerked her arm.

“Lower your armor.” She didn’t stop, he froze for a moment then added a gentle, “Please.”

She sighed as the armor slowly rang back up her body. Her uniform was tattered and blood seeped through the pants. Her pulled her closer, his grip around her sleeve. She could smell him, it was intoxicating. She looked up at him, her mask breaking for a moment.

She was afraid, angrily she was afraid. What kind of soldier was she to be afraid of her enemy. That was how wars were so often lost. His hand gently grabbed her broken sleeve pulling it up.

His bare hand went to regrab her. She shock for a few seconds, terror engulfed her. It was like the water was forcing its way down her lungs once more. Her secret was about to be exposed to her enemy. Her breath left her body in pieces.

“Please… don’t.” She’d never begged before. His eye softened as his bare fingers brushed against her flesh. They just stared for a while. Something inside her changed, like a small switch was flipped. His grip became more prominent and there it was. Shadows erupted from him, casting themselves all over.

And then without so much as a prick she was glowing. Her body was warm as silver began to spread out of her body. It was like a ragged inferno that only grew. Around them the shadows mixed with her silver, twisting and braiding together.

Gasps came from all those in the tent, it was like eating the formation of a star. She didn’t move, didn’t breathe as it all stopped. A real smile came onto his lips as she stood horrified.

Blasphemy…. That was what her life now was. She was blasphemous.

“A moon summoner…” He paused and then there was a softer voice. “And an amplifier.”

She was ruined now, nothing would save her now.

Act I : The Encounter

Chapter One

Fᵣₒₘ ₜₕₑ ₛₜₐᵣₛ

The beautiful midnight blue had long were covered with fire. There was fire everywhere she turned her eyes. Her people scrambled around in terror as her brother gripped her arm harshly. Never had he handled her in such away.

Tears muddled her eye sight as she was pull away from her mother’s corpse. Her back ached as the fire around nipped at her long flowing dress that was now tattered. Her brother’s grip slipped as she was throw into a massacre of people.

The Telmar’s were everywhere. There arrows shot down any living thing they saw. The soldiers mouths were coated in blood from poison. Her castle was in fire.

Her tiny feet pounded against the floor of the courtyard. With each step the puddles of crimson soaked her dress. The shimmering wings in her back buzzes as she ran.

Her small lungs ached for air as the smoke polluted her lungs. An arrow lodged itself in her back. Her scream echoed through the open air, fading to nothingness. Her knees hit the blood soaked ground as her fingers crawled up her back. The silver tears poured from her as she her body shook.

“Sister!” The deep voice of her elder brother, Caelum called out, drawing an arrow from the quiver at his side. She ducked down as blades crashed above her head. The crown of starsilver that rested on her head dropped into the puddle where she lay.

The rough hands of her father, Antares picked her up from the ground. He knelt in front of her, his grey eyes full of fury and pain. He clutched into her shoulders, his twin blades resting at there sides.

For a short while there was nothing. Nothing she would hear. Nothing she would think. Only the touch and gaze of her kind father. He wiped her tears tenderly as she kissed her cheeks. His silver hair braided back for her ceremony. It was a mess now, pieces flowed out of place.

“My darling little stardust, this was meant to be one of your happiest days.” His voice was soft, mournful.

“Go with your brother, stay in his care.” She was brought back to her feet. The large hands of Caelum were tightly around her as she watched her father pick up his blades. The Telmar soldiers behind them raised their spears and shields.

“I won’t leave you Father!” Caelum moved to push the young princess behind his body.

“No! Take your sister and go.”

“Father!”

“CAELUM! Take Y/n and go!” Their father’s silver eyes bore into the eyes of his eldest son, his heir. The small princess looked up at her brother, through the pain and she wept. Her brother’s hazel eyes were full of tears and he grabbed her hand.

Then they ran. They ran through the blood, the screams. They ran listening to the sounds of their father’s blades against the metal of the shields. Past the columns that held up parts of there castle. Past the trees of the woods surround their home.

Past everything they loved, the two siblings ran.

Fᵣₒₘ ₜₕₑ ₛₜₐᵣₛ

She hates this, the way Trufflehunter smiled so happily at her. She hadn’t done it to save the human. She only did to because the stupid badger begged her to. The wound on his head was grave, and deep. A proper smack to the head on all accounts.

“Here you go, some nice hot broth for your troubles.” She took the cup of steaming broth with a blank look. Taking a long sip she allowed to warm her body of the slight chill that ran through her body. Her thick armor, and cloak kept her warm on most days.

The dress she wore was the color of the night sky, it hid her well. The badger moved about his small home, humming softly as Nikabrik ate the cheese and stale bread.

“Should’ve let the boy die.” The dwarf muttered softly. A small scoff came out of her as she sipped her broth.

“Nikabrik, he’s just a boy.”  Had Trufflehunter not begged her, she would’ve let the Telmarine die. She wanted to. She wanted to clutch his wrist and feel his last heartbeat. Y/n could be never deny Trufflehunter, the kind and sweet badger. Who had clothed and fed her for so long.

She pushed her back into the wall, it almost didn’t ache. Some days were worst than others. Some days pain would shoot up her spine, making her want to claw out the cursed things.

Trufflehunter probably has a salve lying around for her. The badger knew of the horrible aches she faced since her childhood. Finishing her cup of broth she set the wooded bowl down.

“Thank you, I must go.” She collected her weapons from the ground and made her way to leave.

“Will you not wait till he’s up?” Trufflehunter asked gently.

“It’s better I don’t, unless you want me to run my blade through his heart.”

“Stay then.” She smiled for a second at Nikabrik’s notion.

“He is just a boy!” Trufflehunter restated.  Y/n rolled her eyes softly, that thing was hardly a child. It was grown enough to know the consequences of its actions.

“He’s a Tellmarine, not some lost puppy. You said you weee gonna get rid of him!” She heard him then. The poor attempt at moving quietly. She unsheathed her blade, its decadent handle comfortable in her grip.

“No, I said I’d take care of him. We can’t kill him now. I just had Y/n heal his head.” She watched her kind badger hold up a tray of soup for the Telmarine. His kindness knew no bounds. It had saved her life but now sickened her to the core.

“It would be like murdering a guest.” She sighed once at the bickering.

“How do you think his friends are treating their guest?” Nikabrik snipped. She rolled her shoulders once.

“Trumpkin knew what he was doing. It’s not the boys fault.” Then it moved. The Telmarine pushed Trufflehunter, his tray hitting the floor. Y/n’s body blocked the door as she pushed her blade into his neck. Her hand held his throating, pushing the boy into the wall.

“Stop! Stop! Y/n! Let go of him at once!” She made no such move to release the man. Her kind friends made him soup and the stupid Telmarine has the nerve to knock it over. Her blade bit into the tanned skin of the man’s neck.

“I told you we should have killed him when we had the chance!” Nikabrik yelled.

“You BOTH know why we can’t.” Y/n’s eyes were firmly baring into the Telmarine’s dark irises. His eyes were so deep in color they looked like the richest of soil. He panted softly his eyes staring into her own. He didn’t struggle at all.

His breath was shallow and frantic but he made no move to get away. He blinked softly, she could feel him heartbeat under her cold gaze. Like a lost puppy he gulped.

“You are most beautiful.” He whispered softly. A scoff echoed from her throat and she pushed him away from her. He stumbled like a newborn doe and grabbed the hot poker from Trufflehunt’s fire. She slashed her blade against his poker, quickly disarming him.

Beauty? What did this human know of beauty. She was not beautiful, she hadn’t been for a very long time. Her scared body wouldn’t allow for any beauty. This Telmarine dared to mock her, the imagine of herself.

“We should let her run her blade clean through him!” Nikabrik offered. Y/n was more than happy to oblige.

“No! We will not kill him.” The badger continued.

“If we’re taking a vote, I’m with him.” The Telmarine said from the ground. Her thick boots crunched down upon his chest, her sword under his chin.

“There is no vote.” She muttered emotionlessly. She was going to cut the head off this man and drain his blood above the royal graveyard.

“We can’t let him go. He’s seen us.” Nikabrik yelled. Quickly Y/n raised her sword to strike him, to remove his head from his body. There was no fear in the Telmarine’s eyes. She hates that, he should fear her very existence.

“Enough Nikabrik! And you too! Or will I have to sit your heads again?” Nikabrik lowered his sword, a scruff look upon his face. The girl dressed in the deep sky made no such move. The threats of the badger would not ring in her ears.

“And you.” The Telmarine looked over to her badger friend. “Look what you made me do. I spend half the morning on that soup!” Trufflehunter scolded. She sighed heavily, removing her foot from the boys chest and backing away. Her thick sword found its way back in its sheath.

She slowly moved away, her eyes remained in the Telmarine boy. His mouth opened softly to speak but not word left. His gaze was on her. It trailed down her face to her boots. She wonder what interested him so.

“What are you?” The Telmarine spoke uncertainly. She could felt the soft shudder go down her spine. She hadn’t heard a proper Telmar accent in years. Her hand clutched around the hilt of her father’s sword, the star steel seemed to mold into her grip.

“You know, it’s funny that you would ask that. You think more people would know a badger when they saw one.” Trufflehunter uttered walking back into his kitchen area. The Telmarine looked between herself and the dwarf at her side.

“No. No, I mean…. You’re Narnians. You’re supposed to be extinct.” He offered. She glared down at the man before her. She itched to drive the dagger in her boot into his heart.

“Sorry to disappoint you.” She watched Nikabrik move back to his sit at the table. She remained leaning against the wall as the Telmarine stood up slowly.

“You… you’re not like any Narnian I’ve read about.” He whispered dreamily. His soft gaze met only with the cold and harden eyes of e/c.

“She is very much a narnian. Here you go. Still hot.” Trufflehunter uttered settling down a tray with more soup. Nikabrik rolled his eyes and looked back at her. He met her blank stare and sighed softly.

“Since when did we open a boarding house for Telmarine soldiers.”

“I’m not a soldier.” Her eyes perked up slightly. If not a soldier what was this man who was currently a threat to all those she cared for.

“I am Prince Caspian, the tenth.” The room went silent. Trufflehunter snapped his head towards Y/n, he could feel the fury that radiated off her. Her hands shook with anger as they slowly began to glow the starlight blue hue that she possessed.

She stood straighter and took one step in the Princes’s direction. Trufflehunter moved faster than ever, putting his own small body in front of hers. Caspian stared at her once more, taking a fleeting step backwards. Her eyes had shifted. They were no longer the e/c that her stared into. But a ragging fire of i that echoed from her irises.

Her hands clawed into fists as the blue hue engulfed her hands. She looked to be on fire almost, she burned with hatred like Caspian had never seen. Not from his uncle, not from anyone.

Prince Caspian. This was the Prince of those who had caused such heartache in her life. This Prince was the people who massacred her people. The Prince of her most powerful hatred, and most honest cruelty. She going to kill him. Stain the floor with his blood.

“What are you doing here?” Nikabrik asked as the badger refused to move. Caspian looked away from the raging girl in front of him.

“Running away.” He slowly knelt down, picking up the poker he’d dropped. The two other Narnian’s shared and glance as Y/n took another step forwards.

“My uncle had always wanted my throne.” Caspian gently placed the poker back where it belonged. She took another step towards him. Trufflehunter placed his paws on her knees, a soft indicator to stop.

“I suppose I have only lived this long because he did not have an heir of his own.” The fire flickered on Caspian’s face, the sorrow in his eyes stopped her steps. She could put him out of his misery right now. Kill him and be done with it.

“𝚂𝚝𝚊𝚛𝚍𝚞𝚜𝚝, 𝚍𝚘𝚗’𝚝. 𝙲𝚊𝚕𝚖 𝚢𝚘𝚞𝚛𝚜𝚎𝚕𝚏.” She stopped in her tracks fully. He hadn’t spoken to her in a while, tears made their way to her eyes. She looked behind herself and there he stood, a wisp of his physical form.

His silver hair pulled back and out of his face. His hazel eyes soft and sad. Dressed in his grey shirt and pant with the constellations stitch into them with golden threads. The bow and arrows that rested at her hip were once on his.

Caelum. Her darling brother.

“That changes things.” Trufflehunter said moving away from Y/n.

“Yeah, means we don’t have to kill you ourselves.” His hazel wouldn’t move from her. The stern look on his face telling enough. Y/n wouldn’t kill Caspian, not here at least.

“You’re right.” Caspian moved towards her, the cloth of his shirt touching her softly as he grabbed his armor and sword. Y/n remained frozen as she watched Caspian.

“Where are you going?” Trufflehunter questioned as Y/n made no moves to stop the Prince. She watched his body as he hurriedly put his armor on.

“My uncle  won’t stop until I am dead.” His uncle could only be one person. The man who had plagued her dreams since she was eight. The man who destroyed everything. Miraz.

“But… you can’t leave. You’re meant to help our general save us.” Trufflehunter told. Slowly Y/n looked at him, her gaze unsure.

“Don’t you know what this is?” In his paws he held up Queen Susan’s horn. She scoffed, the kings and queens of old were gone. They left, disappeared and left all Narnia for dead. That horn meant nothing. But the look Caelum’s wisp gave her did.

Fᵣₒₘ ₜₕₑ ₛₜₐᵣₛ

She moved ahead of the Temlarine Prince and her two narnian companions. The princes seemed to move behind her. He followed her like a baby bear cub, clinging to its mother.

She left to get away from Caspian, not for him to follow her around. The sun beamed above her, the hood of her cloak hiding her once more. Caspian moved in her exact footsteps, the gently dangles of his sword could be heard.

“Where are we going?” He asked, a small nervousness. Y/n was leaving, she cared not what happened to Caspian after that. She pulled her amulet from her neck, staring at the iridescent gem that began to shimmer whenever the Telmarine got too close to her.

She gritted her teeth and hid the amulet under her dress. She continued through the foliage listening as Caspian moved behind her eagerly.

“I’ve never seen a forest so… beautiful.” Why was he still trying to speak with her. Was the deafening silence not enough for him to shut up. He was her greasiest enemy, and she his. It didn’t matter that he had no knowledge of that.

“There aren’t many forest near the Castle, there’s a small wood that leads towards the crystal river though.” She stopped walking and groaned internally. Would he ever shut up. Quiet rustling occurred behind him as Caspian turned around.

“I can hear you.” Caspian announced to the two narnians that failed to hide within the woods. Y/n sighed as she played with the hilt of her father’s sword. It was still as large and imposing as when she was a small child.

“I just think we should wait for the kings and queens.” Trufflehunter told with a slight smile. Y/n scoffed out loud and continued her trek. Caspian followed behind her as she moved.

“Fine! Go then! See if the others will be as understanding!” Trufflehunter yelled. Y/n hopes that if Caspian continued to follow her the others would demand his head.

“Or maybe I’ll come with you. I want to see you explain things to the Minotaurs.” Nikabrik tried to catch the two in front of him. As Caspian paused Y/n stared up at the sun. Maybe if she was blind this would be easier. Sadly the sun was just another larger star, it could do nothing to her.

“Minotaurs? They’re real?” Caspian asked looked down at Nikabrik.

“And very bad tempered.” Y/n knew that too well. Shed broken up one too many fights.

“Yeah, not to mention big.” Nikabrik taunted.

“Huge.” Trufflehunter added.

“What about centaurs? Do they still exist?” Caspian asked. Y/n sighed once more, how many stupid questions could this Prince ask in a minute.

“As real as the fairy princess in front of you.” Not even a second after Nikabrik spoke his body jutted with blue electricity. His body shook violently as his hair stood up on every side. The blue fades and Caspian looked at Y/n. Her hands glowed that starlight blue from before.

“Well, the centaurs will probably fight on your side. But there’s no telling what the others will do, especially if the general disapproves.” Caspian stopped walking.

“Wait she is a fairy princess?”

“Was.” Caspian furrowed his brows.

“Was?” He reacted. Trufflehunter and Nikabrik shared a solemn look.

“You cannot be a princess to a race that doesn’t exist anymore.” She mumbled not turned back. Caspian was silent for a while.

“Who the general?” She smirked softly.

“The most terrifying and ruthless narnia alive.” Nikabrik answered.

“With moments of kindness and compassion.” Trufflehunter rebuked trying to ease the worry off Caspian’s face.

“Not to a Telmarine.” Nikabrik finished. Caspian paused as he watched the narnia’s move forwards.

“What about Aslan?” Y/n let her face drop for a moment. Aslan, he was real as she was. No doubt in her mind he was real. She’d felt his mane, the softness of his fur.

“How do you know so much about us?” Nikabrik offered a good question. No Telmarine Prince should be asking so many questions without drawing his sword.

“Stories.” He uttered like the simplest truth. Stories…? From who she wonders to herself. Who would tell a human prince about her people.

“Wait a minute. Your father told you stories about Narnia?” Trufflehunter asked.

“Not exactly, my professor he..” The pause raised Y/n’s brow. “Listen I’m sorry. These are not the kinds of questions you should be asking.” Caspian walked towards Y/n, his pace quickened. She drew her sword out, stopping him. The blade bit into his armor.

She could feel them coming. Enough to annoy her at the very least.

“What is it?” Nikabrik asked the badger.

She sheath her sword and pull the bow from her back. She quickly drew three arrows, pushing them against her bowstring.

“Human.” Trufflehunter answered. Nikabrik furrowed his brow and nudged his head to Caspian. Caspian looked down at Y/n for the slightest of seconds. Awe was held in his gaze that Y/n did not understand.

“Him?”

“No. Them.” In the distance Telmarine soldiers entered her woods. Y/n growled once, the points on her cainies seemed to sharpen. Caspian went wide eyed as the soldiers spotted them.

“Run!” Trufflehunter yelled. Y/n pushed Caspian to run as the arrows flew from her bow, landing in the neck of the Telmarine soldiers. She followed after her narnians, cocking another arrow.

She quickly caught up to Caspian, her legs moving faster than his. The arrows flew by their heads quickly. Y/n turned stopping her run to shoot some more arrows. She hid behind the trees, giving herald cover to shoot again.

Her run resumed as she once again caught up to Caspian. For a human he ran quite slow in comparison. They waded through the trees like river around rocks.  The arrows zoomed pasted her heads as they ran.

The thick hood of Y/n’s cloak fell, revealing the locks of h/c hair that was loose. Caspian stumbled on his feet as he saw her hair flow with each step she took. As the sun hit each strand it seemed to glow. Y/n continued to run, feeling the earth crunch beneath her foot.

She whipped around hiding behind a tree. She readied her bow, taking in a silent breath. As she shot down a soldier she watched Trufflehunter fall.

“NO!” Y/n yelled, fear echoed through her voice. His body lay on the ground limply and tired. She moved to pick up her badger but Caspian had already ran to get him.

“Wait. I’ll go.” Caspian ran forwards, arrows flying past his head. Without nimble fingers she shot arrow after arrow. Her larger bolts cut through the Telmarine’s creating a clear path for Caspian.

As Caspian picked up the Badger and began to run once more Y/n threw her bow behind her back. Trufflehunter stared at her as Caspian carried him. She grabbed the dagger that were hidden in her boots without a thought. As the Telmarine soldier advanced she remained behind the tree.

She pounced on the closet solider without a thought. Her blade cutting through the flesh of the soldiers neck. The others yelled around her but to no use. Her dagger flew through the armor on the soldier shooting arrows at her.

She wrapped her legs around his waist, forcing the man to the ground. She dislodged her blade from the metal as she launched herself back at the soldiers. As she chased after the other soldiers following her two narnians she watched as they fell once by once.

A smirk made its way onto her face and she slide her bloody dagger onto her waist holsters. She sped up, running past the corpses of Telmarine soldiers. The earth would reclaim them soon enough.

When she reached Caspian her body was on the ground and there her tiny knight was. Upon his chest, small blade drawn.

“Choose your last words carefully, Telmarine.” She rolled her shoulders once moving to Trufflehunter side. She stared at the arrow imbedded in his leg with a furrowed brow. She looked back at Caspian who stared at her. His eyes drifted back to the large mouse in his chest.

“You are a mouse.” She wanted to laugh at his basic words. She could let Reepicheep kill the prince. Caelum could not fault her for the slip of his blade.

“I was hoping for something a little more original. Pick up your sword.” Y/n could feel the disappointment in her mouse knights voice. She held tightly onto Trufflehunter, her hand closing any blood from escaping his wound.

“Uh… no thanks.” Caspian offered still panting.

“Pick it up! I will not fight an unharmed man.” Reepicheep kept his blade pointed at Caspian’s face. Caspian looked back at Y/n his eyes held confusion. Y/n gave him a blank stare as she lifted Trufflehunter into her arms.

“Which is why I might live longer if I choose not to cross blades with you, noble mouse.”

“I said I would not fight you. I didn’t say I’d let you live!” Reepicheep voiced ignore Caspian’s words.

“Reepicheep! Stay your blade” Trufflehunter yelled from Y/n’s arms.

“Trufflehunter?  I trust you have a very good reason for this untimely interruption.” Reepicheep asked waving his sword around. The mouse’s eyes drifted to Y/n as she held onto him.

“He doesn’t. Go ahead.” Nikabrik answered. Y/n sighed whipping she’d just covered Trufflehunter’s mouth.

“He’s the one who blew the horn.” Y/n groan. That horn was what would save him. From behind her she heard the mass of heavy footsteps.

“Then let him bring it forwards.” She turns to see the centaurs behind her. She handed Trufflehunter over to Nikabrik and moved to their side.

“This is a reason we have gathered. The general will wished to pass judgment.” With a huff of air she looked up.

The sun had yet to blind her

Fᵣₒₘ ₜₕₑ ₛₜₐᵣₛ

Her body was hidden by shadows as all her narnian’s shouted. The trees that could still move slightly allowed there vines to hide her. She watches them all scream and demand the death of  Caspian.

Fear coated his face as she stood in the middle of the grove. His eyes drifted around for any glimpse of Y/n. She would surely help him.

“All this horn proves is they’ve stolen yet another thing from us!” Nikabrik yelled pointing at Caspian. Caspian glared down at the dwarf.

“I didn’t steal anything.” Caspian voice. Y/n sighed softly, the horn ment nothing. There were no kings or queens there to help protect them. The Telmarine had stolen the relics from them.

“Didn’t steal anything? Shall we list the things the Telmarine have taken?” Asterius the eldest minotaur yelled. Her eyes watched as one by one her people yelled their grievances. All were true and Y/n would hold Caspian punishable.

“You would hold me accountable for all the crimes of my people?” Caspian asked, pleading to any narnian who would hear. Nikabrik slowly made his way down the holder where he stood.

“Accountable… and punishable.” Nikabrik announced. A scoff came from Reepicheep as Y/n glanced his way.

“Ha! That is rich coming from you, dwarf. Have you forgotten it was your people who fought alongside the White Witch?” Reepicheep told drawing his sword. His small body made its way between both parties.

“And I'd gladly do it again,if it would rid us of these barbarians.” No, that she would not allow. The White Witch was just as much a murder of her people as the Telmarine’s.

She crossed her arms as she watched from the shadows as Trufflehunter, bandaged and walking well made his way to defined Caspian.

“Then it's lucky that it is not in your power to bring her back. Or are you suggesting that we ask this boy to go against Aslan now?” Trufflehunter offered. The yelling resumed at the name of Aslan. Y/n has stood in front of Aslan at the age of eight.

Surly this man could do the same. He had to be older than her at least.

“Some of you may have forgotten, but we badgers remember well that Narnia was never right except when a son of Adam was king.” She glared at her badger friend. Although her could not see it, the anger was felt. Has she not done enough to show no king of Adam was needed.

That no human was necessary to them.

“He's a Telmarine! Why would we want him as our king?” Nikabrik yelled. Y/n had just about had enough.

“Because I can help you.” Caspian offered. Y/n looked down at her amulet. It shimmered softly, glowing in a gently starlight color.

“Beyond these woods, I'm a prince.” She shoved the amulet under her armor. She carried not if he was the chosen. She didn’t care, no magic was going to tell her she couldn’t kill the Telmarine. No less the prince of Telmar.

“The Telmarine throne is rightfully mine! Help me claim it, and I can bring peace between us.” Enough.

“We have heard these lies before.” The trees parted way for Y/n. She stepped out, pulling her hood down. Her body was adorn in black armor and leather. Weapons covered her as she began to circle Caspian. The black paint of her face cause him to shrink back.

One by in every Narnian bowed down to her. Caspian gulped softly. Her gaze was unwaveringly harsh.

“General Y/n Novas, leader of the Narnians.” Glenstorm, the centaur announced.

“My people heard such claims before, from your uncle nonetheless.” She offered. Caspian furrowed his brows.

“Your people…?” He asked softly. There was no a sound in the air.

“The star fairies. The most noble and ancient race in all of Narnia. Keepers of magic, and the stars.” Caspian’s eyes widened.

“You’re a star fairy?” She nodded her head once.

“You,” The hostility of her voice was not lost on Caspian. “Telmarine can do nothing but lie and murder, and desecrate.” She circled him like a predator does its prey.

“I do not lie.” Caspian argued.

“That is what your father and Miraz said, before he laid waste to my castle, my family, my life.” Caspian’s face turned.

“YOU lie! My father was not a cruel murderer!” Caspian attempted. She stopped moving all together. She took a step towards him.

“I was a foolish child when I saved a Telmarine boy from a rapids. You see the star caries were the only surviving Narnian race that you Telmarine’s could not get rid off. Too much power with us.” Y/n began. The narnians all down at their eyes. This story was not a kind one.

“Out of honor we invite the royal family of Telmar to my wing ceremony. A show of faith and goodwill. My father ever the diplomat thought he could broker peace. He wanted to try one last time.” Her words were spiteful and full of grief. She looked away from Caspian as the silencer tears dared to fall.

“I remember the day so well. The way my mother, swollen with the first child to be born into the royal family braided my hair. As my brother brought me cakes to eat in the morning. The look of pride on my father’s face as the stars glowed above me.” Caspian stared into her eyes. There was nothing in them.

“Not even a second after the wings made of pure starlight were on my back did the arrows fly. They struck down my mother first.” She paused her breath quivering.

“I’d hardly had time to back before they were pulling the gown off her still warm corpse.” Caspian’s mouth drop.

“No.” He mumbled softly.

“I was pulled off the podium by my bleeding guards. Blood dripped from their mouths, the Telmarine’s had poisoned all the wine…. One by one each of my soldiers dropped to the ground like flies.” Caspian stared at Y/n. She had come again begun to circle him.

He shuddered with guilt as the grief hit him. The pain that she felt was visible.

“My brother found me as the Telmarine soldier began to burn my palace to the ground. We ran till an arrow lodged its way into my back. Then our father found us. We were forced to run for seventeen days as your men hunted us.” Caspian’s eyes dripped with tears. His father would have never allowed such a thing to happened.

“We reach a cliff in the end, your uncle Miraz was at the head of hunters. Me and my brother were too injured. He could not carry and fly us away. I didn’t even know how to work my wings.” Y/n paused as a single tear fell down her face. The other narnias all took in a breath.

“The soldiers grabbed us before we could fall off the cliff.” Caspian opened his mouth.

“Your brother is not here with you?” He asked hopefully. A dark chuckle came from the back of her throat.

“Miraz forced me to watch as he carved my brother’s wings from his back.” Caspian froze as Y/n moved closer. Her body was in front of his. His shaking dark eyes full of tears.

“The bite mark on Miraz’s hand was from me. I bit a chunk clean off to try and make my way to my brother. I just hold him, as his last heartbeat went out.” Caspian could do nothing stare into her eyes. The pain was horrible cast into them.

Y/n breathed out t heavily as she recounted the most horrific experience of her existence. This Telmarine could not be any different.

“Miraz grabbed me, forced me into the ground. He used the same dagger to carve my wings up.” She pulled the cloak from her back. There lay limply were her wings. They were severed down the middle. Caspian gasped silently as she watched Y/n turn away.

The wings had once glows under the stars. They would flutter every so often. Now they simply laid against her back.

“Then he tried to take me back to Telmar with him. Want to keep me as a pet.” She sighed and laughed once.

“A pet! That how Telmarine’s see us narnians!” Y/n yelled to her fellow narnians.

“I threw myself off the cliff. Death would’ve been better than to be a Slavs to the whims of a human.” Y/n paused for a moment.

“So tell me Caspian why is this time any different?” Caspian stood there for a were seconds.

“Because I have no reason to hurt you.”

“Neither did Miraz.” She offered. Caspian could stop himself.

“I am not Miraz! I am Caspian the Tenth. Let me help you.” She paused for a moment. Her eyes moving to Glenstorm.

“I watched the skies… for it is mine to watch as it is yours to remember, badger and as it is yours to protect General.” Glenstorm began. Y/n could feel the warmth of her glowing amulet, she moved away from Caspian.

“Tarva, the lord of victory, and Alambil, the lady of peace, have come together in the high heavens.” Y/n watched as Glenstorm moved around. He was one of her most noble and trust advisers. He’d never laid her astray so far.

“And now here, a Son of Adam has come forth… to help offer us back our freedom.” Glenstorm’s eyes were on Y/n as he finished. Y/n would not ignore the stars, she could not.

Peace, was it possible. She never know peace with the Telmarine. Not in her heart. She couldn’t ever forgive there wrong doings to her.

“Is this possible? Do you really think there could be peace? Do you? I mean, really?” The talking squirrel asked. Y/n sighed once and looked at Glenstorm. His eyes held truth.

“Two days ago, I didn't believe in the existence of talking animals... or dwarves or centaurs… or even a fairy.” Caspian’s gaze landed back on Y/n. No other Narnia mattered in this single moment but her. All he needed was to convince her.

“Yet here you are in strength and numbers that we Telmarines could never have imagined.” Caspian looked around at all the eyes upon him. Y/n watched her people, Caspian’s words held truth. They had been careful to hide each other.

Y/n stared at Caspian. Oddly he wasn’t lying, she would’ve know.

“Whether this horn is magic or not, it brought us together.” Caspian looked into Y/n’s wrathful eyes. “And together, we have a chance to take back what is ours.” Y/n sighed softly. She hated him, she hated all humans. They were all the same.

All lying and deceitful. But this Caspian had forgotten one thing. Y/n wouldn’t care to not slip all his blood should he be lying. She would be more than happy too.

“Very well Prince Caspian.” Y/n mumbled softly. She nodded at Glenstorm.

“If you will help our general lead us then my sons and I, offer our swords.” The sound of the metal leaving its sheath echoed. Metal by metal, swords and any blade alike was raised to Y/n and Caspian.

Y/n smiled softly up at Glenstorm, her entire life had been dedicated to the Narnians. To help restore there kingdoms. She would not fail them as she fail her own original people.

“And we offer you our lives, unreservedly.” Reepicheep announced bowing to the prince and general. Trufflehunter smiled softly, approaching them both.

“Miraz's army will not be far behind us, my lady and sire.” Y/n nodded.

“If we are to end this we will need to gain more soldiers and weapons.” Y/n voiced to her narnians.

“I’m sure they will be here soon.” Caspian uttered looking between both Y/n and Glenstorm. Y/n sighed softly as she held Caspian’s gaze. If he wasn’t lying she was going to build a new spike and place his head on it.

She could help but ignore the amulet that still glowed as she stood in his presence. The amulet was old, its magic worn she told herself.

No Telmarine Prince was chosen for her by the stars. She wouldn’t allow it.

Chapter Four

Moon Helios

The trainees stood in the forge covered in soot and dust. Another year had passed in there training, and now it was time for them to truly demonstrate their loyalty to the Sol Saint.

Y/n stood with Isla in front of her and Niko as her side. Y/n had woken up early to fix up Isla’s hair. The curls were twisted and carefully down up in a ponytail so the hair was out of her face. Niko was still learning how to help up with Isla so Y/n had extra work.

Niko was now learning how to remember what all the clicks from Isla’s clicker meant, along with all the taps she’d give. Though Niko was a bit behind, he was learning quickly. Y/n rubbed her eyes and bite back a yaw.

Y/n had a restless sleep. Every night since she had that episode in the arena she’d dream of that man, and his dark eyes. Sometimes Y/n would find a strange comfort in his eyes, sometimes she’d feel almost at peace.

Now that they were old enough, they could send letters home if they wanted. Y/n had wasted no time in sending multiple letters to Alina and Mal.

It only be a matter of time before she got a reply. Niko’s family already replied to him with great happiness that their son was still alive. Isla’s family hadn’t responded yet, they were residing in Novyi Zem. Her family was furthest away, but Isla remains positive.

Y/n could only roll her shoulders as Kanos instructed them on how to forge there armor. Kanos walked each child to there own heated furnace and spoke softly with each for a moment before going to the next. Kanos practically ripped Niko away from Isla and Y/n.

Y/n looked over at Isla and froze. There was no way Isla could do this. She would get hurt, surely this would be dangerous. Isla gently grasped Y/n’s hand.

“Your vibration are fuzzy, what’s wrong.” Isla asked. The sound of Isla’s clicker brought Y/n such comfort to hear. Y/n gently rubbed Isla’s arm and held her for a moment. Y/n peered down at her with a slight grin.

“Nothing, just excited for the forging ceremony.” Y/n answered as she felt her palms go a bit clammy. Isla went narrow eyed and raised a brow. Another trainee was taken.

Isla grabbed Y/n’s clammy hands and held them for a moment. Y/n stood upright, tension in her muscles, but head held high. Y/n seemed to master the ability to hide her emotions from almost everyone. Just not her, Isla was too intoned with Y/n’s vibrations.

“Just because my sight hasn’t come in doesn’t mean I can’t feel when something’s wrong.” Isla clicked. Y/n rolls her eyes as she felt Kanos walking toward them. Quickly Y/n pulled Isla into tight embrace. Y/n hooked her arms around Isla’s waist and pushed her head into Isla’s neck.

Isla always smelt of roses and wildflowers. Wildflowers that made Y/n think of home. Isla smelt like home.

“Be careful when you use the forge.” Y/n muttered against Isla’s softly skin. Her hands trembled slightly, she couldn’t let Isla get hurt. Not again, not after-

“Hey, you with me?” Isla’s gentle tapping against her palm, cut through the thoughts racing in Y/n’s head. The words blurred together in Y/n head as she tried to speak.

The exhaustion was smacking Y/n in the face all at once. As Kanos grew closer Y/n took it in a big breath and sighed. The pair pressed there heads together and breathed together.

Isla held Y/n’s hand as the shaking went away. Isla breathed Y/n in, she smelt smoky with a slight lavender touch. Isla could remain in Y/n presence for eternity if she could. Y/n held her like she was the only thing in the world to her. Y/n protected her in a way she’d never been protected before.

Y/n would give Isla the foods she didn’t want, claiming Isla needed the nutrients. Y/n would tie the blue ribbon every morning, and  untie it every time. Y/n would spar with Isla till her knuckles were bruised so she’d improve. Y/n would push Isla and now Niko behind her whenever she sensed trouble.

Isla gently pulled away as Kanos waited. Normally Kanos would simply pull Isla away but for whatever odd reason he allowed the girl there privacy.

“Be careful.”

“I always am.”

As Isla walked further and further away Y/n stood alone. Sure there were a few other trainees but Y/n wasn’t too close with them. Sure she’d made friends with Kheli after there fight, and Zan had been suspiciously

nicer to her.

Zan and Adam had been strangely friendly. They’d hang out with them sometimes and seemed to like them. Y/n couldn’t tell whether or not she really liked them. They seemed fine, they made jokes with Isla form time to time. There was just a sense of unease that surrounded them.

“Starkov, you’re up.” Kanos’s voice cut through her thoughts like a knife. She followed behind him through the forge, sparks flying off the metal the other younglings molded. Y/n was brought to the very back of the forge, her hearth ragged on with a blue flame. Y/n eyes widened a little, the other fires were normal. Why was hers blue.

“Helios Kanos…? Why is mine blue?” Y/n’s question caused him to roll his eyes.

“Egon is Lord Helios, his younglings are made to use different fires. I lead Isla to the one by Niko.”

With that he was gone. Y/n groan a bit frustrated as she grabbed the gloves. She looked over all the metals for a moment, there were so many. Out of all the Helios’s that still had there durast abilities they always stocked up for the younglings.

There was Sunstell name after it’s brightest before and after melting. Though very strong, if laced with coiluseium could pierce it easily. Also there was Solodium, durable and easy to find. Only issue with it being so easy to find was that lots of people used it. Then there was Qixianium, qixian meaning golden immortal after the Sol Saint. Qixianium was practically indestructible but was very difficult for none Helios’s to find.

Y/n grabbed a mix of all these metals. Then she looked over the stones. Each gave different uses. There was Brixam, Aglaeum, Ziqen, Ruxiaem, and so many more.

Each Helios armor was supposed to be different. Special to there wearer. Y/n bit her lip softly as she saw everything over. All of these stones were hard to find, but each could be melted.

Who’s gonna know

Without another though Y/n grabbed three stones. She grabbed Brixam, it would increase physical strength and would make her armor harder then it already was. She grabbed Aglaeum, it would amplify her mental and her ability to fight off Corporalki (mainly heartrender from messing with her body). Finally Ruxiaem, it would help her sense people’s vibrations at a better level in her armor.

With all her materials she began. She melted all her metals together in the blue fire. She smiled softly as she listened to the metals bubble. She grabbed a hammer and smashed each stone into dust. She stirred the metal and pour it into a mold Egon had made for her.

Each master would make there younglings mold for there armor. The one Egon had made for Y/n was strange in the best ways. It remind her for the tattoo Egon had on his arm. At least the woven looking collar did.

She pour the mixed metals into the mold and placed the stone dust into the forge. The forge fire lit up in a teal, then white, the a purple light as the dust melted. Y/n cooled the metal necklace the pulled it out of the mold. She pour the now melted stones into a small upside down teardrop shape.

Hours fades by and one by one each Youngling left wit bright smiles showing off there necklace. Each looked different, some looked better then others. Isla strolled out with Niko the pair show off there armor off.

Isla’s necklaces was a simple metal band with a diamond on its center. On the center of the diamond was a Ziqen which would increase hearing and would help her find people. Niko’s collar was an intricate golden crown looking necklace. No stone in sight, most like melted into the metal.

Niko looked around, but his sight didn’t show him Y/n anywhere. Finally after a while Y/n emerged holding her collar behind her back. Isla gripped Y/n’s arm with a big smile. Niko looked down at her and raised a brow. His hand found it’s way to Y/n’s shoulder.

Niko hadn’t been very comfortable with touching anyone in a while. Since they had gotten there burn marks Niko couldn’t bear to touch anyone. He’d fear that he accidentally burn someone with his inferni abilities. He would never touch anyone’s skin, but his calloused hand on Y/n’s clothed shirt was enough for him.

Slowly Y/n showed her friend her collar. It was incredible that both gasped. The metals shined in a beautiful sliver shimmer, the metals were woven together crossing ever so often. On one of the crosses a strangling and shining stone was held by the woven pieces. It was a soft clear blue.

“It’s …… amazing.” Niko mumbled as he went to touch it.

“I’ve never seen anything like that.” Isla clicked as her sight allowed her to see it. Y/n turned to Isla with bright eyes.

“Your sight kicked in?” Y/n marveled. She brought Isla in for a bone crushing hug and jumped slightly. Y/n’s squeal of pride echoed through the forge entrance hall. Isla nodded her head with a rhythmic up and down. Niko smiled at his girls and held his head softly.

“What gem is that?”

Y/n still holding onto Isla turn to Niko. She laughed almost nervously but then cleared her throat.

“It’s a mixture…”

Niko’s face dropped to the ground. Isla bit back her smirk at Niko’s face. Mixing the stones was unheard of. Practically not allowed. Sure it was never said you couldn’t but it was never said you could.

“YOU WHAT!”

Moon Helios

Y/n laid in her bunk as she left and heard Isla crawl down from the top. Niko’s snores drowned out anyone else as Isla crawled next to Y/n. Y/n opened her green blanket and Isla jumped into Y/n. Isla nuzzled into Y/n as Y/n held Isla closer.

Isla listened intently to Y/n’s soft and calm heartbeat. Y/n slowly pet the soft twists of Isla’s hair. Y/n’s free hand drawing soft circles onto Isla’s back. Y/n rested her head on Isla’s as she softly pet her hair. Isla brought her hand onto Y/n’s chest and placed it over Y/n’s heart.

Isla tapped Y/n a bit impatiently, causing Y/n to smile softly.

“ʜᴜꜱʜ ᴍʏ ʟᴏᴠᴇᴅ ᴏɴᴇꜱ, ʀᴇꜱᴛ ᴀɴᴅ ꜱʟᴇᴇᴘ ɪɴ ᴘᴇᴀᴄᴇ

ɪɴ ᴛʜᴇ ꜰɪᴇʟᴅ ᴏꜰ ᴏᴜʀ ʜᴏᴍᴇ

ɪɴ ᴛʜᴇ ᴍᴇᴀᴅᴏᴡ ᴡᴇ ʟᴏᴠᴇ

ᴡʜᴇʀᴇ ᴛʜᴇ ꜱᴜɴ ᴀɴᴅ ʀᴀɪɴ ɴᴇᴠᴇʀ ᴄᴇᴀꜱᴇ”

Y/n’s soft voice rang through the room. Her singing remained Isla of her mom. Y/n’s voice was one of a siren maybe, or of a enchanting creature. Her voice always lulling Isla or anyone for that matter to sleep.

“ᴡʜᴇɴ ᴛʜᴇ ᴡɪɴᴅꜱ ᴄᴀʟʟ ꜰᴏʀᴛʜ,

ᴍʏ ᴛʀᴜᴇꜱᴛ ɴᴏʀᴛʜ, ᴛʜᴇ ɢʀᴀꜱꜱ ᴡɪʟʟ ꜱʜᴀᴋᴇ

ʙᴜᴛ ᴏᴜʀ ʜᴇᴀʀᴛꜱ ꜱʜᴀʟʟ ɴᴇᴠᴇʀ ʙʀᴇᴀᴋ

ɪɴ ᴛʜᴇ ꜰɪᴇʟᴅ ᴏꜰ ᴏᴜʀ ʜᴏᴍᴇ, ᴏᴜʀ ʜᴏᴍᴇ”

Niko’s eyes opened for a moment and closed them again as Y/n’s voice entered his ears. There was that small chance that he would stay awake, but Niko didn’t mind. Y/n’s voice caused Niko to adjust his sleeping position and faced the two girls.

“ʜᴜꜱʜ ᴍʏ ʟᴏᴠᴇᴅ ᴏɴᴇꜱ, ɴᴇᴠᴇʀ ᴡᴇᴇᴘ

ᴀɴᴅ ʀᴇᴍᴇᴍʙᴇʀ ꜰᴏɴᴅʟʏ ᴛʜɪꜱ ᴛɪᴍᴇ

ᴡʜᴇɴ ᴏᴜʀ ᴍᴇᴀᴅᴏᴡ ɢᴀᴠᴇ ᴜꜱ ᴘᴇᴀᴄᴇ

ᴀɴᴅ ᴡᴇʟᴄᴏᴍᴇᴅ ᴜꜱ ɪɴᴛᴏ ɪᴛꜱ ꜱʜɪɴᴇ”

With the final verse of the lullaby Niko and Isla drifted into sleep. The window above Y/n’s bunk shined moonlight onto her skin. It was warm and fuzzy. Her skin felt all tingly and strange. Y/n though to Alina and Mal.

She wondered if they’d gotten her letters yet. She’d sent four. Two of Mal, two for Alina. Niko’s family had answered, and the lived further away then Keramzin. Maybe they just gotten lost. Maybe Alina and Mal were angry that she hadn’t written earlier. Maybe they though she was dead.

Y/n’s thoughts wondered away from her sister and friend, back to those brown eyes, his dark hair, his handsome face. Y/n still want quite sure who he was. He was always in black clothes. In her dreams he always had a hardened look on his face till Y/n got closer.

His face seemed to light up then, his eyes would brighten. His eyes were such a strange thing. They held so many emotions, such intensity. When Y/n closed her eyes she knew she’d see him again. With a tiny smile she did just that.

Aizawa stared ahead with his eyes hurting. He had no idea why Nezu had insisted he go along on this mission. As he roamed the halls of the building he could help but feel uneasy.

This building had a creepy nostalgic feeling. It’s felt  familiar, yet unnatural. There was a scream and Aizawa darted down the hallway as his comm came one.

“I’ve got the west wing.” Aizawa said while throwing open a door. In the room was a bunch of tanks filled with strange colorful creatures. In different jars were strange plants and mushrooms. Blood covered the room.

Bodies filled the floor while flowers and mushrooms grew out of their bodies. Aizawa gaged at the sight and the smell of blood filled his nose. Another scream filled his ears and Aizawa ran towards the sound.

Aizawa froze in his spot at the sight before him. A glowing portal was behind a small figure of a little girl. Nurse, doctors, and guards dead bodies surrounded her.

Her arms, legs and neck were bandaged with dirt and blood seeping through. Blood stained her hands and she slowly turned her head towards him. Aizawa gasped at the figures behind her.

A women around her late twenties with long dark blue hair, olive skin, blood red eyes, and a bloody sword with thorny vines covering it. The woman was dressed in a red shirt and black pants. The throngs seemed to infect her body, creeping up her arms and her legs.

A man around his early thirties with brown hair, fair skin, golden eyes and he was, holding a bloody musics sheet along with a blue rose bleeding on his shoulder. The man was dressed in a blue shirt, and brown pants. The blue roses slowly turned red from blood, one slowly grew out of his bloody wound in his forehead.

The second woman around he early twenties had golden blonde hair, tanned skin, emerald eyes, and a bloody crown on her head. She was dressed in a green dress with a ribbon in the back and small ribbon in her hair. As she shifted her head, her face seemed to decay.

The last people were two girls around eighteen, with snow pale skin, one with cyan eyes, the other sunset orange, both girls had white hair. The taller one was dressed in a light yellow dress with ruffles at the top, and the other in a golden yellow with a red skirt overalls. Each girl had blood on their mouths and necks. In each hand was half of a bloody ace card imbedded into their hands.

As the portal behind the girl turned off the figures disappeared. The small girl collapsed and Aizawa caught her before her head could hit the ground. As the lights went on he could see her features.

Her h/c hair was covered in blood. Her s/c skin was covered by dirty and bloody bandages. Her hospital gown was bloody and gross. A large bruise formed on her left side of her face.

As his back up ran into the room Aizawa couldn’t move his eyes from the small girl.
