You're not sure, at first, what to say. In fact, now that you understand more about what the job entails, you're a little regretful that you had encouraged your wife to apply. But you do know the salary and benefits are really generous, and your wife loves to travel, which (as she says) she'll be doing a lot with him -- apparently not just when he has a business trip, but when he travels for pleasure as well. What concerns you is how much you will miss her when she is away with him, and of course, the fact that she will be intimate with him so frequently. But you also realize that at this point it would not be good for your relationship with your wife if you asked her to decline the position -- even though you also both know that the woman who had the job until very recently left the position because she had become pregnant. And so -- with feigned enthusiasm, you tell your wife that it IS great news and that, of course, you think she should say yes.
