My problem with people saying two people (two men usually) have a relationship that goes beyond platonic and romantic and can't be labeled is this is always used as a reason why they can't kiss or whatever as if those two things are mutually exclusive

Mel doesn't make a move on Jayce in this AU because she assumes they're dating for real, like most people would. You'd think this would be out of character for her because she's good at reading people, so you'd think she'd be able to tell it was a sham. But no. The thing is, she's right: they are dating! They just don't know it yet.

Arcane AU where everything is mostly the same but at some point after the academy and before the events of the show Jayvik got married for the tax benefits and so Viktor could have a last name for practical reasons and basically it's a fake dating AU until someone else points out that neither of them seem even remotely bothered that this will impact their future romantic prospects with anyone outside their marriage

imagine going to burger king and you're like can i have a chicken wrap which isn't a burger nor on the menu but isn't an unreasonable thing to order and they're like sorry we don't serve wraps but we can introduce you to our burger guy who makes the best burgers and then you go to the burger guy and he's like yeah i can make a burger and a wrap but i think you should go to the sushi bar next door because. i'm gonna fuck the wrap?

My problem with star trek species redesigns is people always redesign the wrong ones. Ferengi? Cardassians? Vorta? Some of the most interesting aliens in the show and for some reason I keep seeing redesigns of them. You know who really needs a redesign? Betazoids and El-Aurians. Truly the most boring alien designs in all of Trek. Trill and Bajorans too, but I have seen a few redesigns of them, though I always wanna see more. Give me more redesigned Betazoids and El-Aurians!
