Me when I think of Vander and Vi and Mylo and Claggor and Powder and how they were all a family, and how they loved each other and lost each other, and how the ones who survived each individually got twisted into things that were barely recognizable, and how—

It's such a small detail but I think it's so important for Mylo’s growth that he so freely lets people touch him when he's older. It was only once that he shrugged off affection from Claggor because he was having a bad day, but I've always seen him as being choosey with physical touch - he prefers to be the one to initiate. It's also entirely possible he didn't feel like he could show that sort of affection when he was younger. Mylo may have felt it was a sign of weakness, something he couldn't afford to be. He always held the facade of confidence, projecting strength was a necessity to survive.

But in the AU, Powder and Claggor both are handsy with him when interacting and he's perfectly at ease. He's comfortable and feels safe, largely in part of Zaun's marked improvement. He's still a bundle of nerves but he isn't remotely as jumpy as he used to be. I want to believe that would carry over to any potential romantic partner too: he'd be very openly affectionate and loving. Mylo would embrace little things he couldn't afford when he was younger. He's a romantic at heart, I'm sure of it.

of course it was startling the very first time seeing mylo and claggor alive and well in ekko's pleasant dimension, but something specifically that struck me was mylo's little mustache. we've been seeing him as a manifestation of Jinx's trauma, and she has not imagined him changing or growing, she has a crystallized version of him that stopped developing the day he died. They're adults now. only the dead stay 17 forever.
