A quick two for one visit from the family of cardinals!
More of the local fauna at the North Sebastian Conservation Area on 2/18/23: a gopher tortoise right off the trail, an alligator sunning in the canal just outside the parking lot, scrub jays of course and the causal skydivers parachuting into the neighboring Sebastian airport.

Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs is amazing! So glad I got to visit, even if it was just for a quick trip.
A busy morning at the bird feeder! Two male common grackles show up early in the video follows by an appearance from a female cardinal. I love being able to see the size difference between the two species.
Breakfast was interrupted for this female cardinal when my dogs made an unexpected cameo and ran into the backyard where they scared her from the feeder! Bonus points for the squirrels who also went running when they heard the dogs approaching.
A wonderful time seeing Florida scrub jays at the North Sebastian Conservation Area on Saturday. Such a hidden gem, right off Main Street in town. There were tons of scrub jays all throughout the trails, a really lovely place.
Messy beak Monday! A lovely visit from the neighborhood lady cardinal.
The roundest armadillo! Black Point Wildlife Drive 3/11/23.
A bit outside of my normal area but a lovely pigeon on a rock in Garden of the Gods park in Colorado on 2/28/23.
Lens flares and morning visitors! Plus a surprise appearance at the very end of the video!
