cant believe hotd showrunners read fire & blood and were like what if we make the dance of the dragons a lesbian divorce drama.
what always manages to break me is that rhaenyra was alicent's first and ONLY love unlike rhaenyra who did fall in love with other people and was able to somewhat fill the alicent hole in her heart but nooo not alicent; her gay ass was never able to move on, not until her very last breath.

yeah lucerys and aemond are their mother’s sons but have you ever realized that both boys almost resemble each other’s mother’s vice versa? to the point where rhaenyra sees so much of alicent’s anxiousness and self-degradation in lucerys while alicent sees rhaenyra’s fiery tendencies and ambition in aemond that it’s no wonder that they’re both their favourites.. it’s all because those boys resemble the past version of their sworn enemy/childhood companion/first love GIRRRKDJJDKDJE!!!
