Had to stop by the office today and they brought in a big crane to build a second crane for the new #SanJoaquinCounty #Courthouse. #stocktonca #209
IMO-
Step1- Ready, aware and assessing;
Step 2-As the attacker steps towards you with a grab or a grope, step forward and bend your knees slightly, and lower your head.
Step 3-Thrust yourself forward and up towards his chin. Because you stepped in he will have lost mush of his power, and a using your head against his chin or chest will force him further off balance.
Step 4-Taking a grip on his arms pull down as you drive your knee up into his groin.
Step 5- As he doubles over raise your fist and drive your elbow straight down in between his shoulder blade, or on his lower back such as near the kidneys.
Step 6- Grab his head and pull it down as you drive your knee upward into his face.
Step 7- swing your foot upward with your leg extended, hitting him with the ball or heel of your foot.
Step 8- If he is still close, swing your foot down and smash it onto his prone body. This might be overkill, and I would feel uncomfortable attacking someone on the ground as it can be a very strong position.
I begged my daughter to let me teach her something like this. I think my actual words were "Can I teach you and Jen how to break arms". The way they are treated in bars freaks me out. They are in their twenties, and some of the culprits are older than I am...WTF? If you want to do something like this practice over and over with a partner. It is a bit complex, but the moves use your attackers strength to a good degree, and are straightforward and natural uses of your body. Nothing fancy, just powerful and direct. They do require some strength, and some of these moves will hurt you to deliver them, so it is not ideal. The choke, one or two handed grab/grope are about the most common attacks.
Happy Birthday to @brooklynstfrances from America's Birthday party. If I was as rich as 'Merica, I would put on a fireworks show just like thid just for you. #happybirthday #happybirthdaydaughter #dontcallmedaughter #lovepapa

Earlier today I got to watch Basil's guardian instincts kick in. A neighbors beefy terrier escaped into our yard and Basil bolted past Lisa, barked a warning at the terrier and raced to bark warnings with his but against the front door. To cute!! #guardingthedahlilama #lhasaapso #lhasalove #calilife #209 #stockton #california
what you said was: "i don't respect women who don't respect themselves"
what you meant was: "i and society as a whole hold women up to ridiculous respectability standards directly relating to the "purity" of said women while hypersexualizing them at the same time and if you are a woman and don't fit my awkward monolith of criteria then i refuse to acknowledge your humanity"
what i heard was: "hi i'm a misogynist piece of shit, please punch me in my face"
Needs to be a word! (Taken with instagram)
While @slabbitch gets caught up on #GOT season 5 we are playing it like it's real. #monopoly #gotmonopoly
So true!
So normally I don’t lobby for tv shows on here, but this show has had such an effect on me and everyone who has watched it that I feel like I need to give it a signal boost. The show I’m talking about is Wynonna Earp, let me start out by saying this show is amazing in every and every single way- the representation is AMAZING, there are two strong female leads, one of which has a female love interest, there’s a strong black male lead character, and for once IT’S ALWAYS THE STRAIGHT WHITE MALES THAT DIE! This show is basically what you’d get if Buffy, Jessica Jones, and Clint Eastwood had a badass, sarcastic, strong, independent, hilarious, amazing, did I mention badass? Lovechild. Or a gender-swapped version of Supernatural, HOW COULD YOU HATE THAT!? The ratings haven’t been doing well because viewership is low, but THIS is the type of shows we need on television- amazing representation, phenomenal writing, strong female, LGBT, and POC leads, and just AMAZINGNESS all around. PLEASE GIVE IT A CHANCE! Watch Wynonna Earp on Friday at 10/9c on Syfy!!!
