Sometimes you meet someone, and it’s so clear that the two of you, on some level belong together. As lovers, or as friends, or as family, or as something entirely different. You just work, whether you understand one another or you’re in love or you’re partners in crime. You meet these people throughout your life, out of nowhere, under the strangest circumstances, and they help you feel alive. I don’t know if that makes me believe in coincidence, or fate, or sheer blind luck, but it definitely makes me believe in something.

So true, sadly about so few for me. But when it happens it makes life so much better.

Here in California, USA you will find my washing machine in the Laudry room. Most likely other places are: the garage, a closet, a pantry, and rarely a back porch. 2 places you never see them: kitchen, bathroom.
THank you so much! I am in the US, so I will search tat database.
How would I go about finding someone interested in evaluating and conserving 2 drawings from the early 1930's. They are pencil on paper, and were drawn by a group including my wife's grandmother, andHelen Wills, who was an American artist and tennis champ, who is most famous for being the nude model for Diego Rivera's murals about CA in SF. Another person who contributed whose name slips my mind but he took Frida Kahlo in when she became distressed over Diego's affair with Ms Wills.
If you’re located in the United States, you can use the American Institute for Conservation’s “Find a Conservator” search database.
Another option is to send it to a regional conservation facility, via mail, such as Etherington Conservation Services or the Northeast Document Conservation Center.
Aww...to cute.
Sending warm thoughts to my east coast family and friends. Just another winter day in #CA #Polarvortex #PhotoToaster
