Waiting for @chicagotheband to get started! #oldschool #rockandroll (at City National Civic)
Well, it has been a crazy couple of days. I am sorry for the suffering, fear and anxiety that a lot of you are going through. But it is a warm and lovely fall evening. One thing is certain, Basil will always want to chase the ball. #puppylove #calilife #209 #stockton
#rabitisland Having a ride on the coast and getting some beach time in. #nofilter #oahu (at Makapu'u Beach Park)
It was a long week, so was looking forward to #fridaynightdatenight with #Lucy. That's right, 90 minutes alone with #ScarJo. #stocktonca #209
Guardian News: “‘You have stolen my dreams and my childhood with your empty words,’ climate activist Greta Thunberg has told world leaders at the 2019 UN climate action summit in New York.”
SOML!!!!
IMO-
Step1- Ready, aware and assessing;
Step 2-As the attacker steps towards you with a grab or a grope, step forward and bend your knees slightly, and lower your head.
Step 3-Thrust yourself forward and up towards his chin. Because you stepped in he will have lost mush of his power, and a using your head against his chin or chest will force him further off balance.
Step 4-Taking a grip on his arms pull down as you drive your knee up into his groin.
Step 5- As he doubles over raise your fist and drive your elbow straight down in between his shoulder blade, or on his lower back such as near the kidneys.
Step 6- Grab his head and pull it down as you drive your knee upward into his face.
Step 7- swing your foot upward with your leg extended, hitting him with the ball or heel of your foot.
Step 8- If he is still close, swing your foot down and smash it onto his prone body. This might be overkill, and I would feel uncomfortable attacking someone on the ground as it can be a very strong position.
I begged my daughter to let me teach her something like this. I think my actual words were "Can I teach you and Jen how to break arms". The way they are treated in bars freaks me out. They are in their twenties, and some of the culprits are older than I am...WTF? If you want to do something like this practice over and over with a partner. It is a bit complex, but the moves use your attackers strength to a good degree, and are straightforward and natural uses of your body. Nothing fancy, just powerful and direct. They do require some strength, and some of these moves will hurt you to deliver them, so it is not ideal. The choke, one or two handed grab/grope are about the most common attacks.
