we'll do fine.
Sisters :]
Look who's back to drawing again π€‘ππ° This time it's Lucien with a strawberry π I actually wanted to post it on my birthday or something, but I didn't have time to finish it π Anyway... I'm probably going to post more often now!
The first thing I'm gonna do is redo my commission sheet. And this time, it's not just a summer-only commission but a... more permanent thing? At least for the next three months, I guess π€
I'm still trying to figure out a way to not let people wait too long, yet still keep it manageable for me π₯² I might make a list before I open my commissions.
Anyway, this is the first one, there's... 10 more π Don't ask me why I like to torture myself; I just want to make the commission process clear for the future ππ«΄
See you tomorrow π€

Writing advice from my uni teachers:
If your dialog feels flat, rewrite the scene pretending the characters cannot at any cost say exactly what they mean. No one says βIβm madβ but they can say it in 100 other ways.
Wrote a chapter but you dislike it? Rewrite it again from memory. That way youβre only remembering the main parts and can fill in extra details. My teacher who was a playwright literally writes every single script twice because of this.
Donβt overuse metaphors, or they lose their potency. Limit yourself.
Before you write your novel, write a page of anything from your characters POV so you can get their voice right. Do this for every main character introduced.
The younger siblings have passed judgement.
