So excited. I’ve been using Crayola brand paper clay for my doll so far. My sister got it for me, for Christmas. I was so happy to have anything to work with to start this project. It’s been working just fine although I’m sure I’m working harder than I’d have to with higher quality clay. I was finally able to get out to Michael’s and they had La Doll brand, the satin smooth pack and it was only $6.99 for each 1.1lb bag! I only got two and plan to set them aside for when I run out of the Crayola brand. I’d rather use the lower quality clay while I am learning and save the other for when I’m more experienced :)

Worked on her cheeks, chin and lower lip. Only had a little time tonight but I’m glad I made some progress. Slowly working toward symmetry :) Picture is a before (left) and after (right) of my progress.

This was my original sketch and kind of has some hints as to my thought process and some details I forgot to mention, like I wanted the hand and feet pads to be heart shaped lol. And I intended for the markings to remind one of moss, the way moss grows on sloths :)

Just trying to even things out. Make sure the eyes are at the same depth, checking nostrils and the way the philtrum and septum meet up. Her skull/forehead will obviously be larger, I'm just focusing on her face at the moment.

Enitan in fantasy dress. She is wearing a dress draped and sewn by me on her body. 14 mm Enchanted doll eyes and a 7/8″ mohair wig by me. With flat heel feet on she is 53,5 centimeters tall. She will be cast by Harucasting in the colors Black Pearl and Moist Brown. Will come with 4 hands, flat and heel feet in a carry bag. Price 650 Euro. Sorry for the lack of updates. Still busy with other projects and my crazy life! You probably can't see much change but I've worked on her symmetry and I've been working on her skull shape and size some more.

This is a doll head that I started and was very passionate about but this year was a lot busier than I had anticipated. I hope to finish her someday but she has a long way to go!

Luna’s preorder is live! The preorder will run from October 1st to the 31st, 2016. Luna is my first sculpt and will be cast by Harucasting. They will be available in 5 skin tones; Black, Dark Tan, Pastel Pink, Pearl Dark Grey, and Pearl Violet. They are $180 USD each for the dark and pearl colours, and $165 for pastel pink, plus express shipping to your location from Canada. You can pay in one instalment, or pay $100 at the time of ordering, then the rest plus shipping when the dolls arrive to me from the casting studio. Each doll will come blank with a padded box, COA and a pair of 10mm randomly coloured acrylic glitter eyes from Chocolate Tsang. I will also be donating $10 USD to Bat Conservation International for each Luna sold! Luna is 13cm tall and single jointed with 12 points of articulation. They can sit, stand, and hang upside down by their curved feet. Luna can wear 10 or 12mm eyes depending on taste and brand.
