My Instagram :) I am working on this little dragon for my sister!

So excited. I’ve been using Crayola brand paper clay for my doll so far. My sister got it for me, for Christmas. I was so happy to have anything to work with to start this project. It’s been working just fine although I’m sure I’m working harder than I’d have to with higher quality clay. I was finally able to get out to Michael’s and they had La Doll brand, the satin smooth pack and it was only $6.99 for each 1.1lb bag! I only got two and plan to set them aside for when I run out of the Crayola brand. I’d rather use the lower quality clay while I am learning and save the other for when I’m more experienced :)

Luna’s preorder is live! The preorder will run from October 1st to the 31st, 2016. Luna is my first sculpt and will be cast by Harucasting. They will be available in 5 skin tones; Black, Dark Tan, Pastel Pink, Pearl Dark Grey, and Pearl Violet. They are $180 USD each for the dark and pearl colours, and $165 for pastel pink, plus express shipping to your location from Canada. You can pay in one instalment, or pay $100 at the time of ordering, then the rest plus shipping when the dolls arrive to me from the casting studio. Each doll will come blank with a padded box, COA and a pair of 10mm randomly coloured acrylic glitter eyes from Chocolate Tsang. I will also be donating $10 USD to Bat Conservation International for each Luna sold! Luna is 13cm tall and single jointed with 12 points of articulation. They can sit, stand, and hang upside down by their curved feet. Luna can wear 10 or 12mm eyes depending on taste and brand. This is a little dragon I'm making for my sister. It's far from finished and I plan to smooth out the clay. Hope to finish it by her birthday if not sooner.

Worked on her cheeks, chin and lower lip. Only had a little time tonight but I’m glad I made some progress. Slowly working toward symmetry :) Picture is a before (left) and after (right) of my progress.

Just trying to even things out. Make sure the eyes are at the same depth, checking nostrils and the way the philtrum and septum meet up. Her skull/forehead will obviously be larger, I'm just focusing on her face at the moment.

I'm so excited for @offalteeth 's Familiar Exchange, I figured it would be nice to upload some of my work so people have an idea of what I do :) I know my Tumblr has been dead for a while :/ but I have been crafting despite that! This was my first serious attempt at a plush. I wasn't able to do all that I wanted to within the timeframe I gave myself. It's a Sandshrew!

My favorite thing to draw, the Creepy Moon. Woodburnt clay painted with glow in the dark polish, and polymer clay (the light parts also glow.)
