Also just saying this here to avoid it getting too far outside of the community mainly because I really don’t want to cause a huge thing right now. There is no way in hell I will ever switch to any other site than youtube. The other sites are funded by the wrong people and some of the people that they chose to be the faces of their platform really shows what they care about. If I were to switch to anything it would be youtube which I am going to try to build up in the coming months. I know YouTube also has its fair share of problems, but the difference is they don’t have the people saying this vile stuff on their front page. I’ll stay on twitch as long as I can simply because it’s still sadly the most viable at this point. I don’t see this happening, but just with all the stuff that’s happened today I’ve seen some really disheartening stuff from people supporting these platforms.

I do not respect any creator that switches to those sites if they are fully aware of what goes on, unpunished, on those platforms.

Also just as a heads up it’s in heavy consideration currently that after this month I may not be doin anymore mcc stuff! We have the “one of us” event this Saturday (which isn’t an mcc thing but is still cool) and then the pride mcc which are both charity fundraisers :)

Honestly my content is going in a new direction after all of this, and because of how busy I may be with it as well as just the fact that I want to stream differently, I’m very uncertain about it!

Change is scary I know but I really really love genloss and want to work on it full time, as well as I really just want Ranboo to be a non-stressful and fulfilling thing for me and there are certain things that I think are best to change and leave behind going forward. I can’t thank you guys enough for sticking around for everything, and I hope that you guys are looking forward to this new era as much as I am :)

There was so much when we were making genloss that we didn’t realize lined up really well until like after we implemented it LMAO like we didn’t realize the green to red switch in the second one makes the first one even more harrowing until after the episode and then we were like “oh damn let’s build off of this”

Relationships: Jon/Martin/Tim, QPR Tim/Sasha

Summary: Tim wishes Jon and Martin would warm up to each other- the archives can’t handle much more of this awkward, tense energy. When Martin starts living at the archives, things begin to change. Tim sees an opportunity to ease the tension, get Martin and Jon more in sync, tease his friends goodnaturedly, and fall in love. Wait, fall in love?? Oh, dear. That wasn’t supposed to happen. He’s sure he’ll be happy so long as they’re happy… (and they’re sure he’s a crucial piece of that arrangement)

AN: This is for the @bunnies-in-the-archives event! This fic got… much longer than I’d expected, lol, so I’ve broken it up into chapters that I’ll be posting soon (aiming for one every few days, depending on my work schedule! They’re ready to go, it just takes a bit of coordination to get them out lol).

"I thought you might be lost." is one of the most delightfully romantic things Jon ever says to Martin.

It's so devoid of blame, of derision. A truly neutral statement, soft, no touch of sarcasm, no hint of cruelty. A gentle hand reached out to pull him from the depths of the lonely.

Such an unusual phrase for Jon, especially at that time. There's no definitives, it's entirely open to correction, open to being wrong. 'I thought' not I knew. It comes from Jon's perspective, he holds himself out to rejection, something that's hard to do at the best of times.

'you might be lost', not you were, not you are. He respects that this may well have been a conscious choice, that Martin really could have chosen to abandon him, preferring the lonely to the lack of certainty in their relationship. But it retains the softness and love, the worry and care. He was worried that Martin might not be able to find his way back, but not willing to drag him out of a place he might have chosen to be.

And that's not even mentioning the softness with which he says it. In an intense moment of great urgency and importance he's able to drop his fear, stress, and anger, in an attempt to reach the man he loves.

It's such an elegant moment of love; in a second Jon is willing to let go of the gravity of the situation and put all of his being into connecting with Martin, and when it comes down to it, it works.
