I've not made comics in a while, nothing close to the scale of ForgottenKind, and I'm feeling intimidated. Should I consider something simpler and more lighthearted with my OCs in order to get used to making comics, or just jump in and figure out things as I go with my big project?

discord's whiteboard is a dangerous tool in my hands
for the past few months I've been locked into work on my comic struggling to find the "perfect" introduction. since 2017 I've rewritten my first episode more times than I care to count.
working on this project alone has become difficult and my creative output has suffered. I believe this story needs to be told, but each time I make progress I later make changes that cause further delays.
if I were able to stop myself from second guessing my talents and my value as a storyteller it's possible I'd already have a few full episodes released by now.
unfortunately I find myself paralyzed with worries of how my work will be received. I don't know how long it will be before I finish and release even a single page of this story.
if anyone has advice for me, for how I can overcome this self doubt and constant rewriting, I could use it right now.
