like ok. genuinely. williams was in the fucking TRENCHES last year. overweight car. metal parts. scared desperate horse. cursed car that had to be saged and excorcised. alex albon like 5 race no finish streak. and YET !! alex albon put that car in P4 ahead of BOTH FERRARIS. qualified well and then finished even better. kept it cool and clean. beat his teammate. oh my god i'm going to cry he deserves EVERYTHING and i am cautiously hopeful and excited for the williams comeback arc

Kelly, P, the animals and Max’s discord kittens are going to be so embarrassed when they have to tell Baby Orb that Max is in his flop era (came second in one race)

more importantly my little brother who doesn't watch formula 1 but lives to torment me will check up the results and wait until the next time we see each other just to ask "what about verstappen hmmm?? 🤭" because that's what he does everytime max doesn't win by like 30 seconds.

I like when people like a character so way too much that it transcends even self shipping or kinning and becomes more of a patron saint that you pray to type of deal
