Call a therapist.
Build rapport for six months.
Extend your therapy session on a random Tuesday because you can not function like a proper adult for 90 minutes.
Heal.
emotional processing is so funny because sometimes you’ll be violently sobbing on your bedroom floor over something that happened 4 years ago and then you’ll just. get up and make coffee. and go to the grocery store. and take all this fundamental sadness for a walk. and ponder the cosmic experiences of humanity while eating a sandwich. and that’s healing.
I was in class today, and someone said, "[...]they are expected to like being told what to do." MY FIRST THOUGHT: Oh, like Vi on that fanfic...
IM SORRY WHAT?
How do I even begin to explain this..?
can you two just try to kill each other normally for once
THIS
i have to defend fictional women who aren't good people because if i don't who else will
fandom is a lot more fun when your goal isn’t to be “that big, popular account” within the fandom but just to have fun and talk about what brings you comfort and happiness by the way
I can't even begin to explain the chills this gave me
[repost] morning hours
Arcane/CaitVi is a lifestyle. I have been writing for years now and this is the first time a piece of media has given me the motivation to write about two specific characters and their perspectives with this insane amount of detail. I'm currently working on a research paper about Silco's Shimmer Business. A RESEARCH PAPER. WITH APA CITATIONS. FOR FUN. I am a full-time college student with two minors and a part-time job, where the fuck am I getting the time to do this??
Well, I decided that my notebooks won't see the light of day. Let at least a couple of tumblr posts save the memory of this.
...
Headcanon that's been roaming my brain since the finale: Vi reads every book on Cait's library, an incredible amount of poetry if I dare say. And after a while she starts leaving notes between the pages of her favorite ones. Not only about the content of the book, but her analysis of their shared experiences as a couple, or just random love letters, thoughts. And I argue that spending that amount of time with Cait does end up changing the way she expresses herself (at least on paper, god knows she won't leave her room if others realize just how much of a softie she actually is lol)
Here's one of the notes:
"The desire hidden on scars left by wars represents the most acclaimed liberty: Love. Loving courageously in these circumstances means shedding the identities that are no longer needed for survival. To choose, for once, one's happiness before those false responsibilities we adjudged to ourselves creates a new scheme under which we build our corresponding destiny. When confidence becomes evident, coherent thoughts are impossible to create. The faithful glances, the expecting laughs, and the warm under my hands wrap reality into a space where loving you is the only thing that matters."

love that I can sing fantastic around these heterosexual hoes and nobody will know 😼
