Was hoping you could write some soft smut with Caitlyn or Vi?

I've been itching to write for Cait again <3

Content: smut (subtle?) with plot - s2 Caitlyn, sad undertones, gentle sex, fingering, tribbing (sort of) and aftercare.

Caitlyn was... different, that much had become obvious.

Ever since her mother fell victim to the bomb Jinx had set off... her once bright, focussed eyes, were now vacant— completely hollowed out.

She had no time to grieve her loss, not a spare minute to calm the tension in her shoulders.

Especially not now, she was commander after all, beside Ambessa, someone who relied on appearance and duty.

However, despite the almost constant turmoil of stress and responsibility... every now and then, you'd be able to usher her out of her office, ease her down onto a chair and pass her a warm cup of tea.. maybe massage her shoulders, brush her hair; anything to soothe the recently heavy atmosphere.

Like today, it was late, so much so that you were basically half asleep by the time Caitlyn returned to your room.

Well, her room, but you stayed with her so often now you just allowed yourself to roam freely around the room like it was your own.

Her boots made soft clicks against the ground as she removed her jacket, placing it up against the hanger beside the door.

"Comfortable..?" Caitlyn scoffed under her breath, cocking a brow at the sight of you, curled up on "your side" of her bed.

Despite the humour in her words, the pure exhaustion in her tone was unmistakable.

"Mh, very." You hummed in response, working overtime to hold back a yawn, and sitting yourself upright.

Caitlyn disappeared into the bathroom for a minute or so, returning not too long after, dressed in her usual silky, and overpriced nightgown.

The bed dipped a little as she sat on the edge, just stray from where you were, still slouched over, rubbing your eyes.

"How was.. work?" You murmur through your teeth, propping a pillow or two behind your back.

You were well aware that this had become more than just work to Caitlyn, it was all she ever did at this point.. so in truth, it was a stupid question to ask.

Her head tilted, and for a moment you could've sworn the mere action elicited several audible cracks and pops from her shoulders, and more subtly down her spine.

She didn't answer, the best you got in return was a small hum, whilst she busied herself with coaxing the small tie that held up her hair out of it's knot— her deep blue hair letting loose over her shoulders after a moment or two of small struggle.

"Was sort of hoping you wouldn't ask..." Caitlyn sighed, eyes flickering over hastily to meet yours, the grey-ish blue orbs softening at the mere sight of you, even through her inner turmoil she always found time to admire you.

"That bad huh?" You crawled up beside her, placing a hand to her shoulder, rubbing absentminded circles into her pale skin.

Caitlyn pressed into the touch, the lamp sitting on the nightstand illuminating her face in all the right ways.

You barely noticed her smudged mascara, or the way it gave the illusion she hadn't slept in weeks, even if that was true.

Or the way her lower lip was scattered with small marks, presumably where she'd nibbled and bitten herself— a nervous habit.

You didn't have to hesitate before your lips were trailing tenderly over her neck, pressing a particularly soft peck over her pulse point.

You could feel her shift slightly as she looked down at you, though it remained an affectionate gaze, and she was yet to nudge you away.

Whether it was because of her genuine affection and need for intimacy with you, or she was just tired; Caitlyn was always so gentle with you.

Every small drag of her hips over yours was comfortable, relaxed and slow. That and the way her hands delicately held your hips, as if you were made of the purest porcelain.

"..Cait," You breathed, lifting your head up from the mattress so you could meet her eyes.

Her skin was warm against your own, one of your legs lifted securely over her hip as she guided each small stroke, flesh against flesh.

Her lips pressed several soft pecks over your face, hands lifting to brush a stray strand of hair past your ear.

For a moment you were tempted to hold your breath, focus on the small sparks and tingles rushing through your body, burning their way through you until it was all you could think about.

And for a moment any recollection of the fast approaching war... vanished.

Then, it stopped.

The friction, the heat, merely moments before you were sure you saw the light.

"Mh...? Oh!" There it was, back again.. except this time, it was one of Caitlyn's slender fingers, pressing against your fluttering walls in all the right places.

Though your eyes were squinted tightly shut now, you could practically hear the smile on Caitlyn's face, it wasn't often she got to see you like this.

"That good?" Caitlyn's voice was laced with disbelief, though who was she to judge? It'd been months since you two got intimate, months dragged on as if they were years... or maybe that was just you.

You grumble a little, feeling a hot heat flush over your cheeks, and the tips of your ears.

"Cait- just..." Your eyes fluttered open to meet hers, looking down at you with a knowing smile, her spare hand resting over your hip, keeping you close as you wiggled under her tentative ministrations. And you barely flinched as she slipped in another finger.

Somehow though, despite your lack of words, or general coherency, she understood; pressing deeper, applying that gentle pressure against your sweet spot, and going just that little bit slower... just enough to drag out your peaking orgasm.

You gasped, back arching softly, pressing your hips down to take her a little more than a knuckle deeper.

a distant buzz rang out in your ears, and your mind grew quiet...

"...Look at you, hm?"

Caitlyn cooed, slipping her digits out and discreetly cleaning them off, before cupping the back of your head, and peppering your face in soft, affectionate pecks.

Warmth enveloped your, eyes drooping slightly as you gazed up at her as she tucked the covers over you.

"I'll go run us a hot bath." Caitlyn purred, and a small smile pulled at her lips, something so small, yet so refreshing.

Viktor is a unique character in Arcane. They all suffer. They all experience bad shit. But anything related to him is a different level of pain. Cute fanart and soft fanfics are nothing more than an alternative universe where he gets to experience what he never got (out of fear, wrong decisions, the circumstances, etc) therefore, is sad to consume the content (it's amazing tho) And if it's in the Arcane universe, it's also sad (also amazing). My point is that you can't win. It's impossible to have a 100% happy experience when it's about him, either canon or fanon. You get to the same conclusions based on his suffering.
