so I got into grad school today with my shitty 2.8 gpa and the moral of the story is reblog those good luck posts for the love of god
Thank you for tagging me @unpredictablyquirky !!
Well, shall we begin?
1. My sister calls my style Neo-edwardian Detective-core. And to be honesty reaction was ok.......? But now I embrace it
2. I was taught by the grandmother who runs the bra shop in my town how to size people for bras. I can pretty much do it by sight now
3. Because of how my feet are shaped flat shoes HURT. So I always wear shoes with at least a 2 inch heel

Oh shoot hiiii :D
1. The first Rick Riordan book I read was The Hidden Oracle (ToA)
2. I have two cats named Yen/Yennifer and G/Geralt
3. I am really bad at purposefully ending friendships
Tagging because I’m lazy (and no pressure): @simpingforwillsolace @ddepressedbookworm @simpingforreynarameriz @cliche-fangurl @damhalfblood @crzyprsn42 @justmemyselfandthefridge
List 5 things that make you happy, then put this in the ask box for the last 10 people who reblogged something from you, learn to know your mutuals and followers !!
Where to start.......
1. Showing people around my hometown. I live in a popular tourist town and sometimes people will stop me to ask for directions. Often I'll just offer my time as a free guide and tell them about the history and culture of my town
2. Buying a new tea. I got one yesterday! It was really good!
3. Bra shopping. I know most people hate it but I love it. I'm not talking about going to target. In my town there's a lingerie Boutique run by a vivacious, East European grandmother. She'll ask about what you want in a bra, size you and will always find the perfect one! She always says "we will find you the perfect thing with the vavavoom"
4. Op shopping (I think Americans call it thift shopping?): Love getting new clothes, hate paying lots of money! I just love getting things for less then retail price
5. FLOYD the SAMOYED: my dad works at a music store and I drop off lunch to him before I go shopping for dinner. Sometimes the manager brings in his dog Floyd and I sit on the floor of the shop and pet him for hours! I can't stop smiling for the rest of the day!
Don't worry I got permission to use the photo.
The owner said he'll start posting more often soon
If my mutuals can’t rb this then we can’t be mutuals
Man, I've done fandom shit on so many sites but my god TikTok is the WORST
Mainly talking about anime community but God it's awful. No one knows how to tag anything.
The purity culture is insane, assuming that everyone ships the same thing because it's algorithm based and so you only ever see the most popular ships and head cannons. It's like an echo chamber. There's never any new ideas or interesting takes. It's diluted and sanitized.
This is no decorum and to find anything interesting you have to dig through these brainless edits. I think the lack of creativity can be traced back to how much of TikTok is just fitting everything into trends.
I literally was looking for Moriarty the Patriot content and found something else interesting. checked the tags and didn't see anything about alcroft. Then the whole thing was about alcroft. And when it was pointed out the creator said "well It's about Albert. Of course it's going to be about alcroft"
I think cosplay is the only thing it's got going for it
Also, I'll never forgive TikTok for bringing back Nightcore.
It is once again Valentine's Day which means a new batch of Valentine's scenes! Most of them are very sweet, sometimes emotional. I wasn't expecting a diploma for a Valentine's gift but it made me really emotional
"A return gift from Young Moriarty.
This diploma certifies that you meet the scholarly requirements of a high school graduate. James Moriarty conducted a rigorous examination before certifying your graduation. It carries no legal power...except, according to Moriarty: "I assure you, show this to any school, and you'll be a qualified graduate.""
This made me cry. I'm a high school dropout. I never received a high school diploma. I know this is just a game but it made me really emotional to receive one. It's something on average everyone would have but something I missed out on because of choices I made. I know I'm not dumb but sometimes I feel far behind where other people are. I don't regret the choices I made. It would have been nice to have that common experience.
So thank you, you evil twink. You healed a part of me I didn't even know needed healing
