Crimson Ties - Chapter Illustrations!

Hello everyone! I am very excited to finally reveal what I’ve been working on for much of 2020′s summer months. I present: Chapter illustrations for @turtleduckscribbles​ ’s amazing Linked Universe fic, Crimson Ties! It goes deep into Hyrule and his past adventures (and this very adventure too of course haha). Please give it a read here! It’s so wonderfully written and planned out, an absolutely exciting roller-coaster ride! Be warned, these illustrations do include spoilers for the story!!! Here they are without any further ado:

They were an immense pleasure to work on! I never worked on a project like this before, so it was very much a learning experience too! Thank you Turtle for writing this awesome fic, and many thanks to Jojo for introducing the wonderful LU world to us all! 😊❤

There are already characters in town who won't stop to talk to you (like castle town in TP). So of all the dialogue to include for the characters who WILL stop and talk…why specifically say she knows nothing…hmmmmmmmmm?

2. Where the hero of warriors first saw… H e r ...💘 (messing with lighting but I didn't like how muddy the colors ended up)

the scene always gets me.

the fact that they specifically chose to emphasize sora and kairi reaching for each other’s hand to symbolize the fact that they can never really be together, that no matter what they do, they always end up being separated, is really powerful to me.

and right after that, right after seeing kairi being taken away, sora actually breaks down. true he was heartbroken because all his other friends disappeared too. but the last person he sees and the first he mentions when talking to riku is kairi.

i just want them to be together and happy one day 😔

So starting off with Yozora, because that’s the main part of ReMind that has my attention largely due to being completely new content. The time travel stuff was pretty much what I expected.
