pissed its the second time im writing this bc my laptop fucked up the first
anyway i ran over here bc i realised i am very much OBSESSED with certain mannerisms or little actions of fictional characters
lets talk abt the hands in pockets thing first,, they could do anything with their hands in their pockets and i’d get turned on (ahem?? sukuna vs megumi was the very moment i fell for that evil man)
love the type of character who’d sit lazily on a chair with their legs perched up on a desk/table - cock rn pls 🤲
gotta love a confident and cocky man - also when they stick their tongue out,, like what that tongue do, mister 👀
cocking their head to the side, or tilting it slightly with a smirk on their face as a means of teasing you 😩😩😩
MANSPREADING… hear me out pls lmao idk when a fictional character does it, it hits different (yall seen the jjk merch with them sitting on the chairs? sukunas one got me flying) makes me wanna straddle them,, but idk its also sexy when a character crosses their legs, too
when they have a consistent lazy/relaxed demeanour, it exudes big dick energy
i literally do not know how to describe this but the way they support their head with their hand is also very important (the iconic scene where sukunas leaning onto his hand in his domain) theres a different one as well, the one where the fingers kind of form an ‘L’ shape against the side of their head…i apologise if this makes no sense i have no clue how to explain properly lol
also the asian squat lmao with their arms being against their knees
i realised most of this is just kinda typical delinquent/bad boy body lang but yes they are basically just my type
yall should reply to this with other characters that u have in mind who does most, if not all of the above (might reply if ive simped for that character too lmfao)
‘No archive warnings apply’ means that your fic does not fall under the category of R*pe/non con, Graphic violence, Major character death, or Underage relationships.
‘Creator chose not to use archive warnings’ means that either you do have one of the four official archive warnings that apply to your fic and you didn’t want to spoil it, or you’re not sure whether your fic falls under any of the official warnings or not.
If your fic has underage, r*pe/non con, a major character death, and/or graphic violence, DO NOT TAG AS ‘NO ARCHIVE WARNINGS APPLY.’ Even if you want to avoid spoilers or you added the warnings in the tags, this is still the wrong thing to do. People that get triggered (or just plain and simple don’t want to read content that falls under the warnings) filter by ‘No Archive Warnings Apply’. They want to avoid a situation where they hurt themselves because they consumed certain content. AO3’s phenomenal filtering system helps with this tremendously, so authors, let’s actually use it, please.
Simply put: do not ever tag something that might fall under an archive warning as ‘no archive warnings apply’. ever.
‘But I included trigger warnings in the beginning notes.’ is something you need to to do in addition to properly tagging it. There is no reason for you to want to tag it ‘no archive warnings apply’ when they do apply.
‘But the warning (ex: major character death) will spoil the fic!’ Okay. Here is what you do: you tag it as ‘Author Chose Not To Use Archive Warnings.’ Next, add ‘read notes for trigger warnings’ to the Additional Tags section. Then, in your end notes, explain the trigger warnings. In your beginning notes, say ‘Read end notes for trigger warnings (contain spoilers).’ AO3 automatically has a link for people to skip the fic and go to the end notes and check. People can choose for themselves if they want to walk in blindly or have the warning first. They can exit if they see something that bothers them. This avoids spoilers and yet takes the precautions of avoiding triggering your reader.
It’s not that hard. Be courteous.
👏👏👏
anyone who thinks they’re in bucky barnes’s arms instead of going to therapy clap your hands
When your taste in fictional men is either: the big, thick type that can snap you like a twig or the tall, dark and handsome that can also snap you like a twig... there is just no in between.
and i know now that, because of books, this world will never be enough for me
“Loki’s chasing power. But the reason he’s chasing power is because, really, he’s chasing self-esteem. Anyone— I think anyone who feels powerful has no need to reach for it. Those in the world who feel they aren’t powerful, they seem to have no self-love, no self-esteem, are constantly trying to get the power.” — Tom Hiddleston
