?? I want it to be known that my account is a safe space for trans people still. What's your point?
Women are instilled from an early age with a deep shame regarding our female anatomy.
We're told our genitals smell like fish, that "roast beef curtains," are hilarious and a sign that a woman is a sl*t, that our natural pubic hair is offensive. That periods are disgusting and shameful, and should be kept secret. We aren't even properly taught about our own anatomy- a lot of women don't know until later in life that the vulva and vagina are separate, and that the urethra is not the same opening as the vaginal opening.
There's hardly any research into female-specific medical conditions. Nearly 10% (1 in 10) women are afflicted with endometriosis, yet there's literally no research on what causes it. PCOS is also under-researched. It's all shoved under the rug, too stigmatised to be discussed.
While boys can talk freely about their dick and balls, the words "vagina" or "vulva," are still treated like a humiliating joke at best, and a vulgar obscenity at worst.
Men talk with pride about their genitals. To "grow a set" = to start acting tough and assertive. To "have big balls" = to be brave. "Big dick energy" = to be a charismatic "alpha" that commands attention.
Meanwhile, there are no positive cultural connotations regarding the vulva/vagina. Even "serving cunt" is used as a tongue-in-cheek memetic joke.
I think it's very predatory that shame, disgust and aversion about having a vagina/vulva is marketed as a sign that a girl/woman is dysphoric. That it should just be censored and called a "front hole" or a "bonus hole," to avoid the stigma. It's a cultural by-product of the crushing misogyny imbedded into society.
MOST women grow up feeling shame about having a vulva/vagina, and have to put conscious effort into unlearning that shame.
Second one i really really hate how it turned out but might as well share it anyways... content is content
+ a little explanation as to HOW cosmo ended up in the gift box hehe

SCREAMS I LOVE BOOK!!
book posting
Okay... I'm probably a little bit wrong in my wording and this is gonna be reblogged or something, but what I'm trying to say is that you can BE punk and still not have the stereotypical punk style. Punk is about (not completely) having different beliefs, not fitting in, all that stuff. So isn't it weird that in this punk community, people are still limiting themselves, and others, to a certain style?? Wear that cute little pink skirt you love in a group of people who absolutely despise pink and despise skirts, and that's the punkest thing you could do. Do whatever the fuck you want as long as you're staying true to yourself

what the fuck </3
LOL just realized ur book bfdi reblog are always golden
Why is my recommended flooded with a pear and banana
Things coiny did for pin:
1. Dug to the centre of the earth for her
2. Went to hell and back for her. Literally and figuratively
3. Listened to her when nobody else did
4. Cared about her when nobody else did.
5. He was the ONLY one who showed how upset he was when Pin was turning inanimate. Nobody else cared.
6. Defended her when everyone was hating on her and bullying her
7. Hindered the challenge because he didn't want to throw tiny pin off the cliff to get Fries
8. Secretly botched the spinning wheel for Pin so that instead of getting 2763 days of pure torture she would get her face and body back with mechanical limbs
9. Brought extensions for her so she could move more freely and helped her crashout
10. Supported and helped her in every challenge after that
11. Left the team he was doing really really good in and who could've been a really good team with him (Fries and Pencil, which is insane coz Pencil doesn't usually team with guys/non-freesmarters, and Fries doesn't willingly stick to one team for more than an episode), because they wouldn't let Pin join
12. Talked to her when nobody else did and helped her get her revenge
13. Only one to see her side of the story
14. He did little details such as giving her a hat, carrying her up the water fountain while he swam with ONE HAND, the other hand even holding it outright so she wouldn't get affected by the water
15. Even though they had to be separated, and he said "may the best player win", he still cared for her the entire episode, and didn't kick her down the stairs.
16. He sacrificed immunity for her, something his competitive nature would've never done. He sacrificed immunity to save her because nobody else cared about her.
17. He kept on looking after Pin the whole time, asking her if she was okay ect. Even though they weren't allowed to be in a team
18. He broke the rules by treating Pin like they were in a team by helping her
What Pin did for Coiny:
1. Betrayed him
(Not hate towards Pin btw ppl are forgetting that they literally make up quickly and Pin changes a lot. This is a part of her character development. And it's also definitely the main reason she disliked BFDIA because she hurt the one who meant the most to her. Shes complex guys...)
(This is mainly just a Coiny appreciation post because even after all this she's his number 1 in bfb and tpot)
