I’ve just sort of been messing around in PS lately, toying with these watercolor brushes and the like

top two are based on a couple in outfits I like to wear ingame. And the bottom is just me loving on Valkari’s arms and other sketchiness 

NASA Astronaut Scott Kelly shared this incredible video tonight, August 11, showing “our galactic home” with the stars of the Milky Way. Kelly is living and working off the Earth, for the Earth aboard the station for a yearlong mission. Traveling the world more than 220 miles above the Earth, and at 17,500 mph, he circumnavigates the globe more than a dozen times a day conducting research about how the body adapts and changes to living in space for a long duration.

So while at work I started listening to Nanking Road by the Shanghai Restoration Project and started developing a cyberpunk/hacking-centric AU for Ladybug? I don’t know why, it’s what happened. I’m super tired now that I’m on hour…38? Really? damn. The short version was that Papillon was experimenting on Marinette and Adrien after an accident, and they wound up with the ability to talk to/control or wipe/destroy machines respectively. Part of Papillon’s experiments wiped out their former identities (hey, this is a dystopian cyberpunk world, that shit happens) and they stage a daring escape during which Chat nukes all the machines. Since all the data is gone, the only left that knows who they were is Papillon. Determined to recoup his expenses and put Ladybug’s and Chat’s abilities under his control, he pursues them via heavily upgraded post-humans while they hunt him to regain their past lives. Oh also, because Papillon’s public identity is all rich and famous, he can’t really let the two of them reveal that their bodies were made using his tech, because experimenting on kids is genreally frowned upon, even in cyberpunk dystopias. I dunno, it seemed neat when I thought of it. I still like it. I’m rambling now. Alright goodnight I love you internetttttt~~

P.S. I will probably figure out what Chat looks like next, I doodled the above just so I didn’t leave a bunch of blank space on the page.

Edit note: I saw her one knee was really out of place and had to fix it and it still kinda is but i don’t want to redraw the whole thing because i just got home and i haven’t showered so…minor fix. It was bugging me all night.
