I Am A Good Person The Same Way A Fox Is A Dog

there are headlights burned into my eyes those cars no longer exist, but i can recite the number plates like home there is some sort of conscience in me, sure but these days i can't handle the noise and i can stomach rot better than empathy i was born to deserve worse than i get so my body will always lie easier on the curb than in the memory of those who didn't have a choice the gun to my head will never be out of mercy and the apologies that lie within bullets will always die with me i follow roads like a fox to the highway you will not find any pity in my death the way you would for anything tame

i am a good person the same way a fox is a dog
