Im starting to doubt the comic so I’m posting it before changing my mind

I promise this is probably as political as my blog is gonna get.

Okay so incase anyone is not aware, I'm being let go from the military. I was told this past week. Ive been sitting with it and i wanted to share my thoughts.

No misconduct, no insubordination, no defying orders. I am being separated because I am trans. No, I'm not simplifying it down. It's because I'm trans, full stop.

I thought when I joined, I'd be protecting the country to which I call home. But it seems that country has betrayed me. This also doesn't just affect me. My freinds and coworkers are being forced out of their jobs. And all this isn't even a quarter. The orange shitbag in charge has been done.

He and his moronic VP had the audacity to insult the Ukrainian president to his face. The pure idiocy of letting an arrogant nazi meddle with capital funds. The bs of cutting off aid to vulnerable countries who have already been suffering for years. Aiding and abetting the invaders of those said countries. I mean this truly fuck this country.

And this all isn't only gonna affect our foreign allies and the "woke" but also the people who voted for the Toupee Tyrant. We are already seeing it with the loss of Medicare and medicaid. Trump voters in red states can't afford their medice or they're having to pay an arm and a leg for it.

The new S.A.V.E. act basically states that if you try to vote but ur current last name doesn't match the one on your birth certificate, you can't vote. Who will this mostly affect? Conservatives who believe the woman in a hetero marriage should take the man's last name.

Oh, and you also won't be able to vote showing ur State id/drivers licence. u need ur birth certificate and/or your passport. And an interesting fact, a study shows that a majority of republicans/conservatives don't have passports. And passports cost a decent amount. So have fun trying ngl to reflect him if u misplaced ur birth certificate.

Oh, and though it is to a far lesser extent, college students who voted for him. Their student financial aid is being cut if it isn't already.

What they, and by they I mean Donald Trump, VP Vance, Elon Musk(for some fuckin reason) and all the other rich 1% oligarchs, are doing is keep the masses uneducated, un medicated, and rivalled against each other.

I do not say all this to go, " HA HA, look at all those stupid republicans!"

NO!!!! I say this because we are each and every one of us in this together! We need to put our differences aside and look at what the people in power are really doing. Not what they say they are doing.

And this isn't even just a republicans call out. Democrats are to be blamed as well because they are just as much reactionaries as the republicans are.

The Dems in power care only for performative tolerance and only support the minorities living the "normal and morale" way.

Rich carrer politicians are the ones to blame! They are the enemy! They want us below them scrambling and fighting in the mud for scraps, so they walk on us and not even have to get their shoes dirty!

United, we stand against oppression! Divided, we fall!!!

Okay, so I used to write short horror/Gothic/scifi stories (which I might post here soon), but anyway, I just thought of a story concept and I need to know if it sounds atleast somewhat interesting.

(A very rough and audhd concept i know needs polishing)

So, the main character is a test tube baby made specifically to be better than regular man through both some light cybernetics and genetic mutation. However, her parents try to raise her normal for a time. She reached young adulthood and was too sheltered that when she goes out into the loud scary world, she's overwhelmed and is having a hard time coping.

Suddenly an alien crashes in front of her/maybe it's just eating her trash, and she thinks it's a wild animal at first only knowing from TV and stories. So when she sees this 8 foot tall fleshy carapace bug humanoid thing she treats it kindly and feeds it. Soon she discovers it can change its form(I definitely wanna make it a visceral and graphic transformation, think animorfs but bloodier) she still can't do human speech but does learn sign language.

It's eventually revealed that The alien (I think I'm gonna call her Mixy) is on the run and hiding from the Mi-go (They are possibly my favourite sci-fi race, and they are public domain!) So now they both have to stay hidden and fight these highly advanced and decently intelligent xenos.

Only for the MC (I can't really think of a name, open to suggestions) to find out that she and her alien love interest arent so different in origin (yes, I had to make it gay! Sue me!)

Well? What do you, someone who totally read this far down, think? Should I pursue it further? Or does it sound too crazy? I'm open to suggestions! 😊

Because dragons are freakin awesome!

I love intelligent thinking dragons, but I love it when their hidden behind the facade of the terror inducing savage beast. Like, yeah, they speak with respect and beautiful pros, but most people would never know because

A: they just run and scream like cattle/rats, so the dragon figures why waste words on such insolent grumpy little creatures.

B: Nobody can understand it. The dragon's type of speech is either the classic true draconic or (my fav) so ancient compared to modern common that it's like someone speaking sumerian or pre Latin to a modern day batista

C: Dragons like cats can absolutely speak like that, but just straight-up refuse to for the lols.

Installed a mod for Skyrim that makes the dragons actually talk and shout using real thu'um (data mined from the game files, no ai used) and highkey??? Those guys are the only enemies of my Khajiit Dragonborn that treat her with some sort of respect.

Just compare the generic

Like??? Wtf??? Why is a DRAGON showing my Khajiit ass more respect than fucking elves and nords??? He doesn't even call me a racial slur!!

I always thought that way about my mom. She always loved talking about home decorum and other adult stuff.

I didn't realise how much of a comic nerd my mom was until one day I was watching the old Wonder Woman show(Linda Carter), and my mom came into the room.

She said, "I thought I heard the theme song," and sat down to watch with me. She gushed about how much she loved Wonder Woman and how she was Wonder Woman for Halloween all the time when she was a kid.

My dad was in the other room, and from that day on, he always called my mom his Wonder Woman.

But yeah, it just goes to show. No matter how old you get and how mature you try to be you'll always hold blorbo close to your heart.

advice i think we should tell children is that when adults say stuff like ‘now that i’m an adult i get really excited about stuff like coffee tables and bathrooms and rugs etc’ they don’t mean ‘and now i don’t care about blorbo and squimbus from my childhood tv shows anymore’ bc your average adult still loves all the same pop culture stuff they always did; they just have a greater appreciation for the mundane as well. growing up just means you can enjoy life twice as much now. you can get really excited about a new stuffed animal AND about a new kitchen sponge. peace and love
