My fav fictional genre ever is just girls/women that are magical. Magical girls. When women can kick ass and look cool. Or women having scary/paranormal powers. Maybe being a witch?? Whatever makes you happy. But girls with powers. Girls that can transform into creatures or wearing insanely complicated sparkly outfits!! Everytime I see a female character in any media that can do cool magic tricks I squeeze them aggressively. It makes 5 year old me who watched Doremi obsessively very happy.
on my knees begging you to please look up “squick” if you don’t know it and help bring it back to fandom space by using it. it’s a valuable word we’re missing that through normalizing could solve some of the more prevalent communication issues.

So from what I have understood the difference between these two when Athena is their patron goddess is basically this:
Athena: We're gonna have to kill this guy Odysseus
Odysseus: I don't think I want to do that....
------
Athena: We're gonna have to kill this guy Telemachus
Telemachus: OH FUCK YEAH!!!
Needed to hear this
I just want to remind you that sometimes your life really doesn't begin until you are 26+... Romanticizing and obsessing over our youth is harmful. Growing up is beautiful. Discovering who you are and how you interact with the world is a gift. Maturing and learning what you truly want out of life and living in that purpose brings fulfillment and peace. Your life is not over in your early 20's because you haven't figured it out yet, it's just beginning.
15th century church I stumbled across in northern Sweden. Because it has never been heated, the original colours have been preserved.

the truth is that love requires effort. you have to invest. you have to give, but also receive. love is not a one-sided contract. you have to water each other. you have to take care of each other. love isn't easy, but the effort is worth it when it's reciprocated.
