the main thing that puts me off of playing chess is that there is 2000 years of gameplay that hundreds of people with higher IQs than me have spent thousands of hours studying the history of, so much so that when i put the pawn forward they say “ah i see youre going for the bulgarian somersault” and then i try to take their bishop with my knight and they go “aw, rookie mistake, youve played the frenchmans cumsock, and in approximately 37 moves i’ll have won”

i am so sorry to rb this again but OH MY GOD don’t ruby’s friends skate too?? like at least clancy and elliot bc clancy asks him for help with a trick, and probably del too like?? they could have gone skating together?? and they DIDN’T??

pls lmk if this is wrong but i think ruby stopped skateboarding after ftf which is just so tragic bc imagine ruby skating through the hallways at spectrum or smthing while waiting for LB to yell at her

I know I've made a post about needing more Hitch and Ruby content but. Important update. I also need more Froghorn and Ruby content. The two of them leaning more towards the friends part of frenemies. Or better yet just being friends. They work on stuff together. It's the most unexpected person for Ruby to include in her coding family, everyone is surprised by it. People are more afraid of them when they work together. They make equally bad decisions but on the opposite sides of the board. I love it.

I like to imagine that Spectrum is just always decades ahead of the rest of the world in terms of tech which is 100% something ruby would have SO MUCH trouble just keeping to herself (plus clancy ofc) bc no matter what she says she’s a total nerd and would not be cool about seeing all this futuristic tech some time lmao 

I’m like, fairly sure that Ruby would never end up taking L.B’s place. She seems way too spontaneous to want that kind of a position, so I kinda think she’d stay a field agent as long as she can, and foghorn would do it loll

that is if she lives long enough to even be able to become L.B’s replacement
