if they were to cast that one girl grace mckenna as ruby i’d lose my shit
Ok I have thought about this A LOT and I have cast a lot of the characters HOWEVER, Ruby & everyone else her age/in twinford high should be played by unknown actors period. I know like “oh but more people would watch if it was a famous person in the lead role” that’s what the other actors would help with. A RR movie could be the break through that the Harry Potter actors who hadn’t been in anything before got! Emma Watson (one of my biggest stans you’ve probably picked up on that by now) huge household name, and HP was her debut.
Anyways just a rant
I will never never shut up about the perfection of ruby redfort being set in the 70s bc like.. if when ruby is in her 20s or whatever, she's still a secret agent, living alone, or with clancy (platonically ofc they’re roommates) she’s doing that in the 80s!!
like imagine. imagine a full 80s ruby having her own apartment in Twinford, just doing her own shit yk??
reblog if u love winona ryder, really love winona ryder, or are in love with winona ryder
I think this is the furthest thing from rr I could be posting but you all need to know how much I love michaela deprince
Michaela DePrince in Swan Lake
happy trans day of visibility i love all of you !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
thoroughly agree
one of my favourite things in the rr books is hitch in books 1-4 going from ‘this child is annoying as hell’ to i will look after this kid’ but then in book 5 he just goes full dad mode like he was one of the only people checking up on her & he was always trying to make sure she was the least stressed as possible and I just think that deserves a post
i’m re reading pick your poison rn and i’m remembering how everything from the last books are all tying together and it all just makes so much sense and I just-
these books are so good, not just for kids, they’re actually good books and not enough people recognize this
literally lol
Just…clancy crew, ok? This string bean is out here with his outer space and marine hyperfixations and the fact that he has the most middle child energy ever and uses logic and facts to calm his anxiety and has incredibly dry humour and a sixth sense and is such a likeable character because he actually feels like a real person I just wish more people knew about him because I love him very much
Max gets in trouble at school for getting into fight once and Robin comes to pick her up with Nancy. The second she sees Max she runs to her, grabs her by the shoulders and goes, “Max, Max! Did you win?”
you ever see a fictional man and think. i am sooooooooo normal about him. but youre lying bc no youre not
