Ao3 is a non-profit organisation. If they have to start paying taxes, I have no idea what will happen.

I like the idea that the people at Ao3 text the people at tumblr before they work on maintenance or have to go down for whatever reason. Like, I imagine some intern at tumblr getting a “hey girly” email and just sighing because their user percentage is going up by 1 million percent in the next few minutes on a random Wednesday morning and there’s nothing they can do about it but try not to let the website crash.

Also maybe the intern at Ao3 sending the email is in love with tumblr intern. . . .And maybe it’s mutual. . . .Romeo and Juliet style. . . .Maybe. . . .I don’t know
