The second and third seasons are way too far from us now but the impact on the world and society which Kurt and Blaine have given is still strong and progressive despite all the ups and downs this couple have been through after the season 3. This is Part Two of journey of the ship, which was tried to sink but which has found a way to not only survive but to become more real without breaking the miracle they’ve made the world believe in.

29. kisses in which, we’ve already said goodbye but can’t help stealing another one

Set in 5x01 “Love, Love, Love”

Burt honks the horn lightly.

“It really is time now,” Blaine says sadly.

“Yeah, I don’t want to miss my flight,” Kurt responds.

Neither of them move, cemented to the spot in the driveway. Both of them unable to unclasp their hands or even take a half step away.

“I’m going to call you to say good morning and good night every day,” Kurt starts.

“And texts in between,” Blaine finishes.

“And I’ll send photos of all the crazy new things I’ll be seeing so you can see them with me.”

Kurt squeezes their hands tighter again and plants another round of soft kisses on Blaine’s cheek.

“I’m going to miss you like crazy,” he confesses quietly into Blaine’s ear. Tears start to seep out of the corner of this eyes. It’s a wonder he has made it this far without full on weeping. He pulls back to give one final look into Blaine’s eyes and sees them full of tears. “Honey, no, no. I love you so much.”

“I love you, too. And I am so proud of you.” Blaine sniffles. “I just, not having you will be, well, kinda crappy. But I’ll be okay. We will be okay.”

“Okay, okay,” Kurt repeats, shaking his head.

Blaine leans in for another kiss. They melt into one another, what was soft and sweet becomes heated and passionate.

Burt honks the horn again.

“Call me when you get there?”

“Yes, I promise. I still want to say goodnight, every night.” Kurt smiles at Blaine.

“I might hold you to that,” Blaine teases.

“I’m counting on it,” Kurt says.
