Some thoughts about a 30k/40k "Roleswap Heresy"
I know there's a "Dornian Heresy" out there and I'm certain I've seen someone's take on this concept where it was Guilliman who went 'Full Horus'. So assuming that it's a straight swap of who went Traitor and who didn't here's how I'd do things:
The Arch-Traitor role: The person who takes Horus's place in this hypothetical scenario.... I'm gonna go with Sanguinius for several reasons.
Khorne still doesn't get him this way.
The aesthetic of the fallen Angel turning on the Emperor.
We still get Horus Vs Sanguinius at the end of the siege of Terra.
Dante as Abaddon's equivalent in 40k.
Blood Angels taking the role of the Black Legion (The Black Angels?) In 40k, the go to Chaos Legion with followers of all four Gods in their ranks actually works surprisingly well....Death Company are Khorne Berserkers, the Blood Angels are a legion that degrades over time and that just feels like something Nurgle wants a piece of, Everything about the Blood Angels aesthetic and the way they're describing in the novels is just Slaanesh levels of pretty and of course they'd have winged librarian Dreadnaughts as a Tzeentch option.
Straight up Role Reversals: Because these feel like they have to be done.
The Iron Warriors and the Imperial fists would switch places....Which in 40k would mean that there's no loyalist Black Templars, at least not as an Imperial Fists successor.... Although I could imagine the role being filled by a Word Bearers successor Chapter.
The Dark Angels and the Alpha Legion....And still nobody knows which one is the loyalist. The potential for stories here would be great, because even here nobody would know where the Alpha Legions' homeworld was or where any of their successors were based; problems with the inquisition ensue.
The Four legions dedicated to the Gods:
Nurgle gets the Iron Hands - But only after Ferrus Manus dies.
Tzeentch gets the Space Wolves... and I can hear the hate coming but hear me out, it's another fun role reversal and their aesthetic lends itself well to a shamanic vibe and a style of play and general vibe that's Tzeentch but not in a thousand sons way...Hell the curse of the Wulfen could be their version of the flesh change.
Slaanesh gets the Ultramarines and this one feels right, of course the Primarch who literally wrote the book on what it is to be a Space Marine fell to the God of Excess.
Khorne gets.....And I'm gonna explain myself beforehand here. I've heard it said that if it wasn't for the Butcher's Nails Angron would have been the kindest Primarch and that he had the ability to take away the pain of others.....So I think it would be thematic to make the Salamanders Khorne's chosen Legion. They're the Burn in Kill, Maim, Burn and Demon Vulcan is a terrifying prospect.
Which leaves the White Scars and the Raven Guard to fill the roles of the Word Bearers and the Night Lords and funnily enough I could see both Legions working as a Night Lords equivalent in their own ways.
So I wanna start doing "redesigns" for some Transformers characters and see if I can start up my own Transformers Continuity. But I had this idea for Drift. AND I REALLY NEED AN ANSWER TO THIS.
Would it be rude and inappropriate to draw inspiration from Native American tribes' clothing and rituals?
So what I want to do is basically after Deadlock leaves the Decepticons he goes and finds a Native American tribe and learns of their culture. So he takes on the name Drifting Wind. And later when he becomes an Autobot he keeps the name but takes on the NICKNAME of Drift.
SO! Is that appropriate or is it not? Pls help.
imagine being 10 years old thats craaazy
Considering this is an OLD ASS post, some of the positions I placed these fuckers are pretty eh.
But yeah Optimus would totally be a Green/Blue/White Lantern. (And yes TFP Arcee is the perfect Red Lantern lol)
So here’s the idea: The Cybertronian Civil War has finally and truly ended. Megatron has surrendered, and the Decepticons and Autobots have struck up a peace. And thanks to this, many old records from Iacon have been recovered and Cybertron has once again opened up trade and travel with the galaxy, becoming an active participant of the universe… which gets the attention of the various Lantern Corps of DC. So many new Rings find new owners from the various members of Cybertronian Society.
(Side note I’ll be focusing on four Lantern Corps since I know more about them than the others)
(ALSO note that this is MAINLY IDW Comics inspired)

There would be one UNIQUE Lantern, who would become the main threat to many and would be the reason there are once again Black Lanterns… Overlord. He would be both a Red and Yellow Lantern, harnessing Rage and Fear for his own gain. So a new battle would have to begin.
I wanted to draw my favorite ocs I have ever made togethor, and boy oh boy was it WORTH IT!
So I drew a Soundblaster design for my Transformers Omnicode continuity! I hope yall like! I don't have much for his LORE but he is a very fun guy! He's friends with his fellow mercenaries Lugnut, Blitzwing, and Lockdown. His quirk ability allows him to form weapons out of any form of Energon. Basically an Energon bender lol!
I was bored last night so I drew myself some TF2 ocs. Meet Funk (Red Medic) and Bulk (Blue Heavy). They're partners in crime.
An AU where instead of ending up in Eda’stall, Luz ended up in Belos’s throne room. How did that happen? Well, Eda had been out doing her thing when the Emperor's Coven came to arrest her. In the chaos, she dropped the Doorway, and it was taken to Belos. While Owlbert escaped the castle, Luz followed the owl pailsmen and straight into the throne room. Belos, knowing she could easily help him with his goals, began to manipulate the young girl, molding her into the Amethyst Guard.
But all hope isn’t lost for Luz… You see, she has yet to meet Eda…
And that’s when Belos’s plan REALLY hits the fucking fan.
The story would be separated into three “phases:” Loyalty, Discovery, and Rebellion.
Also realize the plot lines below are NOT in episodic style. It's just an overview.
_______________________________________________________
PHASE 1 Plot:
Hunter and Luz would go on missions together, so they’d get pretty close, and they are pretty much siblings.
Luz wouldn’t have met Willow, Gus, or anyone from Hexside.
Luz would be given a staff with artificial magic like Hunter’s, but Luz’s has an added feature that allows her to turn invisible for temporary amounts of time.
Luz DOES meet Amity, but nearing the end of Phase 1. This is where she really gets an idea that Belos is not who he seems, since she gets to have a one-on-one conversation with Amity, who talks about joining the Coven but accidentally reveals that she doesn’t WANT to join the coven, and she felt like something was off with the Coven.
Lilith is Luz’s primary teacher, though Raine and Darius both have important places as mentors to her.
Belos’s only place in Luz’s life in the Boiling Isles is to feed her lies.
Eda is caught by the Emperor's Coven and Liltih, but isn’t forced into her owl beast form.
Luz has been having a hard time recently so she decides to confront Eda. And Eda explains her side of things. And Luz being Luz, well, she decides to free Eda in return for letting Luz join her, so she can REALLY experience the Boiling Isles. Eda agrees.
Eda and Luz’s experience in the Owl House is tense, but it's more of Luz trying to relearn everything Belos had lied to her about and try to ACTUALLY learn magic, which gets us the famous Owl Beast episode.
_______________________________________________________
PHASE 2 Plot:
Since only Belos knows what Luz looks like under the mask, Luz can go about the Boiling Isles with little worry of being recognized.
Luz kept her staff and mask but kept the mask at home while the staff she has been heavily customized.
Eda keeps an eye on Luz, obviously, but isn’t as worried when she’s alone.
Luz is able to attend Hexside with not much worry, since she had already had a grasp on Magic.
Luz’s interactions with Willow and Gus are more awkward than usual, due to her already being quite familiar with the Boiling Isles, and due to her time with Belos, she’s now more inclined to correct when someone is wrong. So imagine how that goes with Gus?
Luz and Amity hang out a LOT more in the beginning, and since Luz first friends (like usual) ARE Willow and Gus, she’s able to get the Hexsquad together a lot faster.
Amity actually suspects Luz of being the Amethyst Guard, Luz’s general way of speaking, especially when she’s stressed, are all too familiar to the guard she met in the Emperor's castle.
Luz actually stands up to Odelia, seeing the Blight mother as nothing more than a loyal pig to Belos. And well… It works pretty well. Alador even quits. Odelia is also forced to leave the manor so BONUS.
Belos constantly sends Hunter, Lilith, Darius, and Raine out to locate Luz, fearful of what she could reveal to the people. Darius and Raine take this as their key out of the Coven.
Luz by the end of Phase 2 has mastered glyphs and glyph combos, alongside mastering the use of her artificial magic staff. So when Belos sends a mass amount of Coven Guards to the Owl House, including Lilith and Hunter, Luz is there to defend the house. While she IS defeated, she was able to take out a large majority of the guards, including Hunter.
Don’t worry, Alador and the Blight kids had decided to visit Eda that day and were able to help Luz fully defeated the attacking force. Though now Belos knows where Luz is and is determined to take her back, even if she is near death.
THIS WOULD BE KINDA A SEGWAY TO PHASE 3. Lilith would be seen talking to her parents and Steve, telling them the Coven was planning something big, and possibly not in the favor of witchkind. And that she AND Hunter needed to get out as soon as possible. It’s also here in Belos’s more angry state he reveals Hunter is “No more than a Grimwalker.” Which obviously traumatizes Hunter.
_______________________________________________________
PHASE 3 Plot:
The beginning of this Phase is more of Luz making more connections with her friends. So Phase 3 is where our favorite gay beans actually begin to interact and fall for each other.
Remember, Belos still has the Doorway, but he needs LUZ and the key in order to use it, AND he still needs to keep his power over the witches in order to pull off his plan.
Darius and Raine (and Eber, I should say that) are able to make it to the Owl House, becoming honorary members of the family, and it becomes the main base for the C.A.T.S.
Lilith is able to get Hunter out of the castle, making a desperate move when she sees how Belos treats Hunter (which, obviously, is very poor).
Eventually, Lilith takes Hunter to Hexside and explains the situation to Principal Bump, who is all too happy to help, giving the duo a place to hide.
Luz is able to get a new upgrade to her growing arsenal of abilities thanks to Alador and Darius, which is a pair of Abomination Tech gauntlets.
The Emperor’s Coven kidnaps Gus and Willow to lure Luz to the castle. Which OBVIOUSLY Luz goes to confront Belos. Where she is once again captured and is forced to watch as Belos begins to drain Gus and Willow’s pailsemens of their life force.
WHILE THAT IS GOING ON: Eda, Raine, Darius, and Alador all decide to make a stand against the Emperor, which causes them to run out to call upon as many allies as possible. Which leads Eda to Hexside to talk to Principal Bump. There she discovered Hunter and Lilith recovering and helping students recover from a Coven attack. Of course after an understanding is reached, Lilith tells Eda all the ways they can defeat Belos. Hunter decides to join Eda, since he still views Luz as a sister.
Back at the castle, a sudden commotion outside lures Belos away from draining the lifeforce. During his absence, Luz is able to escape her bounds and free Gus and Willow. After getting them to safety, Luz goes to have a final confrontation with Belos. Who reveals he’s actually a human and goes on his whole tangent about the evil of Witches. But Luz would know better and the two would face off.
Belos would try to connect to the power of the Titan in order to sweep the fight, but Luz somehow got connected to the heart alongside Belos. So they BOTH ended up in the reality between time and space, AND meet Titan. And obvs Titan ain’t happy with Belos and after placing Belos in a little sphere, he’d have a heart to heart with Luz. Luz would then be disconnected from the Titan, though she would not leave empty handed.
Yeah there’d just be a scene of Belos getting his assed kicked by Titan.
After the fighting ceased and the evil of Belos was revealed, Luz would locate the Doorway and return home, but with Amity, Eda, and Raine by her side. They’d go meet with Mrs. Noceda, and tell her EVERYTHING that happened.
FLASH FORWARD: Luz is now 19, dating Amity, and the Boiling Isles are flourishing. She’d help settle some things down after Belos, and had helped the Witches reintroduce themselves to the Human Realm, which actually went surprisingly well. Now she’s in college. SO yeah! Good ending!
In a galaxy far far away, a rebel cell began to form on the planet Boilosa. The Empire sent a special legion, the Empire Coven as they called themselves, to the planet to cease the “civil unrest.” But all it did was strengthen the resolve of the planet’s residents. So, just like Lothol… a rebellion had begun.
_______________________________________________________
Main/Important Characters:
Luz Noceda: Daughter of a Order 66 survivor and a retired medical officer, Luz Noceda was born with a unique connection with the force, allowing her to sense things via the nature around her. After an Inquisitor killed her father, Luz began to learn more about the ways of the Jedi, but she wanted to learn her own way and follow her own path. This is what brought her in seeking out a mentor to teach her the ways of the Force and the ways of the Blade and Blaster. Little did Luz know, but this would bring out a whole new rebel cell’s birth.
Amity Blight: Daughter of a human (Alador) and a Nightsister (Odelia), Amity Blight was almost raised to be loyal to the Empire, but her father had other ideas on how to raise their children, so he took them to Boilosa. There, Amity learned more about her heritage and abilities with Dathomir magic. Slowly but surely she became quite skilled with it, especially in the area of summoning Dathomir spirits to her aid. It was actually her summoning spirits that caused her to bump into Luz on one of Luz’s adventures on the planet.
Eda Clawthorne: A Mandalorian that takes care of a young native to the planet (King), Eda Clawthorne, or the Owl Lady, is a very skilled and powerful bounty hunter, taking on even rouge Jedi and high ranking Imperial officials. Thanks to this, she has become quite the target. And Boilosa is the perfect place to hide out. Eda was content on causing the occasional mischief on the planet… that was until Luz the human arrived, claiming she was the daughter of a fallen Jedi and wanted to be trained how to fight. Needless to say, Eda never backs down from a challenge.
King: A young native to Boilosa, King is a very boisterous youngster, but he has a little bit of right to do so. His father was THE Titan, a legendary Jedi that left the order due to conflicting views. Titan believed that some people, even Dark Side users, deserved to get a second chance and a way to redeem themselves, among other beliefs. It was said beliefs that lead Titan to leave the order and start a family, King being his only offspring. Well, King now learns under Eda, and has quite the knowledge of Mandalorian culture.
The Titan/Titan: The legendary jedi who left the order, Titan has become something of a myth on the planet. But he is indeed real and alive, hiding deep in the pits of the planet, meditating in a form of hibernation. And thanks to this, he has become so attuned with the planet, he can manipulate it at will.
Willow: A Nautolan researching the local botany on the planet, Willow is a strong willed scientist and fighter. Bullied during her childhood, Willow strived to prove herself to her dads, her classmates, and above all else.. Herself. And thanks to learning so much about botany and biology, Willow has become a force to reckon with, being able to whip up a bunch of deadly and powerful “potions” with ease.
Gus: A Kel Dor on Boilosa to learn more about holograms and stealth technology, Augustus (Or Gus, as he prefers to be called by) was always treated differently due to his intelligence and skills with hologram technology. But after learning more and more and proving he was doing very well for himself, Gus left his home to Boilosa to experiment and learn. And now he can use the technology to create multiple holograms so perfect to himself and others he can trick any foe with ease.
Hunter: Hunter never knew his parents… probably because he was an unaltered clone of Belos’s deceased rebel brother Caleb. Belos created Hunter to become the ultimate Imperial soldier. Hunter has used every weapon in the Imperial military and flown every TIE Fighter model that made it to high production. But Hunter was a unique clone. He wanted to explore, to learn, to EXPERIENCE normal everyday life. So when Luz revealed to him the treachery of the Empire… and his true origin… he was given that chance to fight for that normal life.
Odelia Blight: Odelia Blight is a money driven marketer. She knows how to use her words to get what she wants, and she usually gets it. So when she joined the Empire, well… she rose through the ranks quickly.
Alador Blight: The husband of Odelia, Alador has forgotten why he married Odelia to begin with. And since leaving with the kids, he’s been keeping busy, repairing and rebuilding battle droids from the Clone Wars to keep his family safe and make some extra cash to get food on the table.
Belos: An Imperial Grand Admiral with deadly ambitions, Belos Whitebane is a pure force of hatred. If he had been connected to the Force, he may have been one of the most powerful Sith Lords… and it was this realization that made Belos connect with Moff Gideon to discuss cloning. Belos would make hundreds of clones of his deceased brother, each slightly altered to convince others of them being just related or it being of coincidence. And when he was ordered to Boilosa, he was ecstatic to begin his true reign of terror with his Empire Coven.
Lilith: Lilith truly believed the Empire was doing something good. As a Mandalorian, she joined the Imperial Navy to bring honor to her family. And she rose quickly through the ranks, commanding entire platoons of Stormtroopers. But when the Empire Coven were ordered to Boilosa, Lilith’s entire world would slowly crumble to reveal the awful tyranny she had spent her life defending.

Important Story/AU Notes:
The cast would all be mainly the Time Skip ages/”designs.”
Mrs. Noceda is alive and well, no worries there.
Boilosa is a large planet, looking almost exactly like the Boiling Isles, but without giant skeletons.
The planet is home to various creatures, including ones indigenous to other planets.
Boilosa was once a place connected deeply to the Force, and temples dedicated to both the Sith and the Jedi are scattered all over the planet, in addition to the High Republic army bases hidden and the old Clone Wars bases and warehouses scattered as well.
Any conflict on Boilosa was minimal, the best being a firefight in the sky.
The citizens of Boilosa are from various species from across the galaxy.
Amity’s Dathomirian magic is slightly altered due to being partially human, so her magic is purple in color.
Edric and Emira Blight are both more human than Nightsister in appearance.
Story wise, this follows a similar plot of the Owl House (Luz learning magic, exploring the isles, and making friends all the while fighting Belos) but with more exploration, more making allies, and more learning her abilities. The big fights are scattered and altered.
Luz’s lightsaber is basically Stringbean. Purple and that tan-ish blue as the hilt, and yellow being the color of the blade.
Stringbean themself is an Astromech droid with the same spunk as R2-D2 but with a bit more innocence.
I come to you all with memes. And no you can't change my mind.
