thursday, 12:31 pm have my last and most important exam on russian literature tomorrow and I’m scared to death to be honest. suffering from “hermione granger syndrome” and working my ass off just to get an excellent mark and approval has been very hard for me throughout the 16 years of studying. well, at least I’m aware of the problem :)
02022020 | a lot of 2s today…
it’s the shortest month of the year, so every day will count! i have a lot of goals, but one i’ll share now is getting a better handle on parsing linguistic theory so that 1) i can understand and 2) help my classmates
maybe i’ll post little ‘bites’ of readings to help me practice [and you all get a chance to learn about interdisciplinary linguistic writings]?

always one to kick things off with a great start— my laptop broke this morning :)
here’s to the may flowers that have been doing wonders for my mood 🌸

Quarantining, reading 'Hippie' by Paulo Coelho and really feeling the desire to travel. But first, I've got to study for the TOEFL iBT so I can do the test in September!
when writing a screenplay about an awkward archaeologist, one must embrace the aesthetic of said awkward archaeologist and literally make their entire workspace resemble that of said awkward archaeologist. i wanted my space to look jumbled, like i’d gone on adventure after adventure and brought pieces back from every trip. even though i can’t travel during the pandemic, my workspace is a nice, temporary substitute. i’m obsessed with it. feel free to ask where i got anything you see in the photo!

*cleans my cluttered desk to take aesthetic pics of it*
i haven’t been doing anything studyblr-related lately, just reading a lot. it’s hard to combat the feeling of not being productive enough. i’m looking forward to next semester to have a sense of purpose again lol
