Callie & Izzy Season 2 Is Coming Soon, And Here’s The Trailer!

Callie & Izzy Season 2 is coming soon, and here’s the trailer!

I performed voiceovers and served as an audio engineer on this show.  It’s really nuts and wonderful, and I’m ridiculously proud to be part of it.

If you haven’t seen Season 1 yet, binge on it here!

Over On Twitter, Patrickfedo Has Been Organizing A Neat Ghostbusters Fan-art Collaboration.  I'm Pitching

Over on Twitter, patrickfedo has been organizing a neat Ghostbusters fan-art collaboration.  I'm pitching in with this pic of one of my favorite ghosts from the series, the taxi-driving ghost from the first film.

I definitely put my faith in Blast Hardcheese.

I made this remix at least 100 years ago, it never fails to make me happy that other folks keep circulating it, making it into videos like this, etc.  It's the reason I ended up choosing the domain SpaceMutiny.com for my music.

Daily Doodle Number Four Is A Quick Sketch Of The Main Character From La Linea (”The Line”), An Italian

Daily doodle number four is a quick sketch of the main character from La Linea (”The Line”), an Italian cartoon which as a child I thought was the greatest thing ever.  Now, as an adult, I still think it’s the greatest thing ever; this little long-suffering gibberish-spouting cartoonist-pestering guy is just as wonderful to watch today as he was when I was a toddler.

Search for “La Linea” on your video site of choice to watch any of his excellent shorts.

I'm taking my Doctor Who Facts! project to a few new places.  I'm doing cartoons like this for some of the facts; also, there's a @WHOFAX Tumblr now!

"Bell Odyssey" - This phone-phreaking-themed parody of David Bowie's "Space Oddity" was written by RBCP for issue 39 of the Phone Losers of America zine, which was released on July 27, 1996. Thirteen years later to the day, I released my own performance of the song.

The release date was entirely coincidental; I randomly got the urge to record the old track, spent a few days putting it together, and just happened to finish and release it on July 27, 2009.  RBCP later informed me that it just happened to be the song's 13th anniversary.  I blame the ghost of David Bowie; he isn't dead of course, but that's certainly never stopped him before.

Soon after I posted this, my colleagues at Off the Hook surprised me by using it as the closing song on the July 29, 2009 episode while I was away from the show.  RADIO AIRPLAY!

The genuine phone company recordings used in this track came from ThisIsARecording.com.

This song is downloadable as an MP3 from PLA's songs page.

This Is A Quick Five-minute Doodle Of Everyone I've Ever Seriously Dated, Standing Shoulder-to-shoulder,

This is a quick five-minute doodle of everyone I've ever seriously dated, standing shoulder-to-shoulder, in no particular order, for no apparent reason.  While some of you who know me might also know one or more of these individuals, I'm not naming names and will not comment on which squiggle is meant to be who (unless you are one of the squiggles, in which case feel free to ask me privately which one you are.)

No idea why I felt the need to get this out of my head and onto pixels, but I do know I'm grateful these individuals will probably never end up gathering in a group like this in real life.  I'd be doomed.  DOOMED.

I subtly altered a scene from the Blake's 7 episode "Bounty."  I wonder if you can spot what I changed.

Delia Derbyshire (May 5, 1937-July 3, 2001)

Delia Derbyshire was an English musician, composer, and pioneer in the early days of electronic music. Her developments in and use of musique concrète and other innovative methods of early synthesis led to soundscapes like none heard before, including the iconic Doctor Who theme.
