As you may have heard, the OSIRIS-REx mission was successful and bountiful! The device lid actually got jammed in the process so now they're cutting all unnecessary operations to prevent sample loss and it’s back to earth.

4 October 1957 - 63 years ago today - the first artificial satellite was put in Earth’s orbit by the Soviet Union.
The real thing may have only been the size of a beach ball, but making Sputnik the same height as Yuri Gagarin was too good of an idea to pass up.
