Will, walking into his house: Hello, people who do not live here.
Jason: Hey.
Percy: Hi.
Frank: Hello!
Will: I gave you the key to my place for emergencies only!
Leo: We were out of Doritos.
I love to think that during Kaz's journey to re-learn skin-to-skin touch, he starts touching Inej's hair instead. Just going through it with naked fingers, or combing it, or maybe even braiding it. He's a bit tense at first, because he's still Kaz Brekker and affection doesn't come natural to him. But eventually it becomes a habit. It's a way of telling her he's trying, and he's giving her his best. It's a way of being intimate without getting triggered, a way of cuddling her without ruining the mood with staggered breathing.
Jaime, a Texan: I've never seen snow before. Can someone describe it to me?
Tim, a Gothamite: Smells like water.
Jaime: Wow, it's like I'm there.
Ramsa and Wylan would've been besties <3
Imagine... just picture it.
In an alternate universe, where everything is almost same except for Alina is not the only sun summoner. As she looses her powers, somewhere in a horrible place called Kerch a 17 year old grumpy boy discovered that he can summon the freaking sun. And his bestfriend, the gun boi, mentors him as grumpy boy learns how to control his power. He feels this as a bonus to show his crush, pretty knife girl, that he is literally a saint.
Omfggg Imma die now.
Close to finishing my Haunting of Hill House Illustration.
A still of the scene in the kitchen where Luke goes in the dumbwaiter with Theo trying to get him back up.
This is my first attempt at an environment drawing like this and I am really enjoy making it!
whenever I see an anti percabeth tag I have to hold myself back from arguing, (it’s a opinion about a fictional couple it is not that serious) but whoever says that percabeth is bad because “annabeth is abusive” is just??? No????!!!
And if you think that because of the comments about Percy worrying about being a good boyfriend to annabeth, it isn’t because annabeth is abusive, because she’s not, it’s about his self-esteem from his trauma and his survival guilt. He worry’s about being a bad boyfriend JUST AS MUCH as he worries about being a bad son to sally. He talks about how he feels like it’s his fault his mother is so stressed. He feels inadequate because he feels he’s let so many people down and he’s terrified to fail more people. Not to mention the fact that he has been abused before. He knows what abuse is like and would be aware if annabeth was ACTUALLY abusing him. AND SHES NOT!!! Not to mention, even if she was abusing him, he has so many people in his life who’ve been abused that’s someone would point it out. But Percy’s not this poor little baby, who’s doesn’t know any better. He’s very smart and has serious self hatred issues. It doesn’t stem from the people he loves. It comes from the people who didn’t love him.
he's looking for hot milfs in your area
“why are they forcing diversity on percy jackson”
bitch where were you in 2010?
Bruce: I love you, kids. You're the best thing that ever happened to me.
Dick: We're the best thing that's ever happened to you?
Bruce: Yes.
Jason: Now I'm starting to feel a little sorry for you.
oh and ANOTHER interesting thing that Riordan does with Percy in the tartarus chapters to never ever bring up again is Percy achieving seemingly impossible(?) physical feats.
Like when Percy kills Arachne, he does so so quickly that Annabeth can't comprehend it. She literally asks him "How did you move so fast?" and he just shrugs and is like "Gotta watch out for each other right? Anyways..." and immediately changes the subject.
Then later he jumps over a river with Annabeth on his back and again, right before it, she's like "How are you going to do this??? It's twenty feet across. How can you possibly do that?" and he straight up is just like "yeah I can do it just close your eyes" and then does it???
of course these moments happen during Annabeth's pov so we'll never know for sure but its just so fascinating cause Riordan goes out of his way to indicate that Percy was displaying strength, speed, agility, etc way beyond his typical threshold while also implying that not only was Percy aware of it but he was either trying to downplay it to Annabeth or avoid discussing it altogether.
