So I watched Wakanda Forever last week! I liked it! The grief, the sorrow, the pain! No Way Home act 3 all over again! And a whole movie of it! Don’t want to spoil but it was good. One of Phase 4’s better movies. Haven’t done a list of all movies but it might be very high up there as well. Namor was fun to see! And how they handled his powers and backstory and they managed to make the wings on his ankles not dumb! I have always loved that part of his design and worried it would look bad on screen but he looked really cool in his unique way of flying and they managed to make him look terrifying. Didn’t really know what to do, tried a realistic Mickey Mouse but didn’t end up as creepy as I hoped for.

Maybe something for Snowwhite but knew it would just be a lesser good version of a poster Alex Ross did once.

Seems a lot of focus on greif and cultures and think a movie that might focus more on the rivalry of nations instead of chasing ”another glowing MacGuffin” could be good and say something important . My absolute favorite thing with the X-Men TAS is that they never explained Banshee's powers.

You just suddently see him in a bright costume and he starts screaming and also he's flying. It's not even like a sonic sound effect I'm used to, like Canary's cry for example, it's just a basic scream... and kids where just supposted to connect that one action supported the other.

Like! I knew this character from before. I knew his power-set. And I still needed a sec to realize what was going on

HE JUST STARTED SCREAMING AND NOBODY POINTED IT OUT AND I'M CRYING

There's so much in X-Men TAS that just goes unexplained and I love it for it. This was a show for comic-readers and if you didn't read any, well good freaking luck keeping up.

Original text were too long for Instagram but it was about how Fantastic Beasts handle representation of cultures and sexualities and how much I love Newt and his autism. A lot of people have complained about the use of Asien stereotypes or how they have handled (or not handled) Dumbledore and Grindelwald’s relationship. The conclusion was that I still wanted to see a character on the spectrum I actually can relate too but I don’t want the access to my representation to keep hurting the ones of others. So yeah, hope they know what they’re doing and maybe we all can win.
