SJ: This is for posterity’s sake. Everything on it, that’s for us and only us.

SJ: You don’t have to like it. You don’t even need to answer my questions, that’s up to you. I just think it’s in your best interest to cooperate.

■■: Fine. Yeah. Sure.

SJ: Do you recall seeing anyone at the scene?

■■: No. I was asleep at the time. I just, I recall smelling smoke and waking up to, to all of that.

SJ: And do you know what might have caused the fire?

■■: I have an idea.

SJ: Oh?

■■: It was…um, it, um…

SJ: Yes?

■■: I, um,

SJ: It was faulty wiring, right? In your office. Because you got clumsy. You got sloppy. It was just an accident, and you know it was just an accident, and that’s what you’ll tell everyone. Right?
